Lead image:designed using Canva. Our future lies in our hands, we are to decide ourselves if we want our future to be great or otherwise, it's our decision, not others. Defining our future simply refers to analyzing or determining how our future would look like, it's up to us if we want it to be good or otherwise it's our choice. Merely looking at those people who became successful, they decided within themselves that they want to become successful and they never let those words just wander around the four corners of the wall, they made the decision and worked hard even if challenges arose they stood their ground and believed they would overcome. To become successful you must be willing to take risks, without risk you can't achieve what you are aiming for while taking risk we need to apply wisdom also in case it doesn't go the way we planned it. Don't put all your money into anything all in the name of risk, try to apply wisdom and risk what you can afford to lose. Another major aspect we need to think of is been prepared for challenges that would arise, it's part of life we need to be challenged to be able to move on to the next level. Challenges and trials are bound to come to test us if we are capable of moving to the next level, we just need to take our stand and never relent, challenges are just for a short while. Never give up, no matter the challenges you are facing, it would be over soon, just keep striving and always ask yourself this question "*why did I start it in the first place".* Most of us while facing challenges and trials, we tend to forget why we started it in the first place, this should always be the question we should ask. Have a positive mindset; this should be our ordeal, setting out for a task and having a positive mindset about the task has a great impact on the task, it gives us the mindset of thinking good about the task and makes us work hard to achieve it. Make use of any available opportunity; we need to make use of opportunities we have today and don't allow any opportunity to fade away without using it. Those are the few steps we need to take to define our future, we should always note that our future lies in our hands and we can choose to make our future bright or otherwise. Start planning for your future today rather than waiting for the future to come before planning. In any successful man or woman, there's always a story to tell about how they made it, nobody was born with a silver spoon in their mouth therefore, we need to work hard and never give up if we want to have a silver spoon. **Author's message.** It's another beautiful day to become productive, let's aim for the best to come forth and have a positive mindset.
