Moon of Reflection
Ramadan has ended tomorrow will enter the month of Shawwal or the day of victory. There are 5 rows of words that can be taken as the meaning of Ramadan in every year that is lived by Muslims in the world. If talking about the words hunger, thirst, patience, or globally holding back lust has become a common thing that is understood and often heard, maybe this line of 5 words can be another addition that will reflect the hopes of every Muslim who undergoes worship in the month of Ramadan.
1. Time
Maybe usually don't really care about time problems, or on weekdays just remember the times that are arranged as important schedules. But look at the time of fasting, although not everyone, but those who are fasting will certainly look at the clock more often than other months than the month of Ramadan. Time is a gift. A person's life journey at one time is not a measure of what he or she will be at another time. A piece of a person's life episode at a time is never a measure that he will also be the same person as an episode of his life at a certain time.
2. Revision
This, especially for Muslims, is certainly something that is more sought after, meaning that in carrying out worship in the month of Ramadan, everything is more duplicated. So that makes you more willing to revise yourself to live a better life in the future. Moreover, after Ramadan is over, it is interpreted as a day of victory for those who have been fasting and feel like being born again. We must have time to immediately respond to changes in life. Revising life is a big thing. Revision always requires great sacrifice. This is if we have to revise and turn something bad into good. Including leaving the bad for the good, letting go of bad habits, throwing away bad traditions that we may have done many times and we ourselves feel the pleasure of doing it.
3. Caring
Care more. Or be more aware of the surrounding conditions, because while fasting, you can feel how people who are hungry, thirsty, or who don't have enough feel. Creating an awareness of the meaning of sharing with others. Life is too short to just let it flow. Especially if we realize, let alone do not understand everything that happens in the journey of life that is lived. Life must be planned, directed, and maintained in such a way that the purpose of life is truly achieved.
4. Healthy
The lesson taken is to feel that they will cultivate a better life, or it can be said to live a healthy life. Fasting at least makes the body that normally works, especially the digestive part of food, rest. And this makes Muslims more willing to pay attention to the health of their organs in the future. Be more regular in consuming food and drinks, adjust the level of something you want to eat or drink, and train not to over-consume food.
5. Meaningful
When you have gone through the month of Ramadan, it is not only the meaning of victory that you have been able to go through but also that sadness will meet again with this month full of grace. Be more aware of the existence of the Creator, and make yourself more willing to draw closer to Him. By remembering Him, it becomes more meaningful in living life, keeps it better, and hopes to meet again. And on the Day of Fitri which is defined as a day of victory, gather with family, relatives, friends, and closest neighbors, forgive each other, share in the happiness.
Now, Takbir has reverberated as a sign that tomorrow will enter the month of Shawwal. Let me and my family say, "In the clearness of the heart, there is a small seed of prejudice. In our polite speech, there are times when we make an accidental mistake. With all the drawbacks, I apologize for any mistakes."
Happy Eid Al-Fitr 1443 Hijri
