New Music Demos for Sale in BCH, Running Update, etc. Hello. Well, I still cannot post links here on this account, which is highly frustrating — nonetheless, the show must go on: I'm in the process of putting together a new album, and will be hitting a pro studio in August, in Saitama, Japan. For the time being, I've released a few demo versions of some tunes I recorded at home. To listen to the demos, just head over to Sound Cloud (can't post l i n k, sorry), and search for the artist "Nite Owl Works" — that's me. Profile image looks like this: The demo EP is called "Magic Beach EP." If you dig the new songs and wanna order the physical version (CD) with album art for BCH, just lemme know in the comments. I can distribute either pretty much worldwide. **Running Speeds Improving!** On the running front, my times continue to improve and I am feeling more like I did previously when I was fully into training. Aerobic engine getting bigger, and able to cruise now at speeds which just months ago had me gasping for air, after a largely sedentary winter! I am so fuckin' happy summer is here. The body is amazing — and it's ability to adapt and get tough with training! Mata ne!

Tokyo Adventure / 東京冒険 Went to Tokyo for some business, and had more pleasure than I expected. Plus a little hangover to battle through the next day. But it was worth it. My hotel was also perfect — a cheap shoegaze-looking escape. 出張で東京へ行って来たが、いっぱい遊んでいた。二日酔いはちょっとありましたけど、とてもいい冒険だった。今回のホテルも面白かったよ。シューゲイザーっぽいでしたね。 Went for a 3-mile run around Akasaka. Then it was time for beer, jokes, and good friends I rarely see. 赤坂の辺りで３マイルランをしました。そして、ビールの時間。冗談の時間。珍しくに会う事しかない友達の時間。 また！

Running Blog 04: Suwako Ultramarathon / 諏訪湖ウルトラマラソン！ I ran the Lake Suwa Ultramarathon in Nagano this weekend! この週末、諏訪湖ウルトラマラソンしていました！ I signed up for the 80km race (5 laps), but finished after just three hard laps around the lake of about 10 miles each (48km in total). ウルトラマラソンの中で、コースが三種類でした。僕は５周の８０キロのレースに参加していたんですが、３周終わったら、リタイアをしました。 The sun was very close there in the highlands of Nagano, and it got very hot. The water the event provided tasted like disgusting chlorine and plastic, and the time limit was strict. Because of this I was pushing my body hard to complete the 5 laps on time, short on water, and sweating like a madman. I pushed it a bit much, and couldn't finish the full run. 長野の標高が高いので、太陽が近いでした。ちなみに天気がすぐ暑くなって来た。イベントの不味い水を飲みながら、タイムリミット厳しくて、僕が僕の体いつもよりチャレンジをしました。そごい汗書いたよ。筋肉が硬くなった。それで、フールレースできなくてなってしまった。 Still, I was happy that I ran the first two laps so hard. I think I set a new pacing record for myself across 14 miles. And felt a feeling of accomplishment for driving myself to complete a third time around for good measure. I noticed even the more fit runners were also throwing in the towel after that. Nevertheless, I made myself run the last 1.5 miles with no breaks and rubber legs —tears shrink wrapping my eyes now and then. 最初の２周でそんなに頑張った事は嬉しいです。１４マイルの中で僕の新しいペーシングレーコード出来たと思う。僕より早いランナーさんも3周終わった時リタイヤをしましたね。それでも、最後の1.５マイルで、ずっと走っていた、俺。足が痛くて、泣きそうの状態で、メンタルパワーだけぐらいで3周を完成。 After the run, where I met some wonderful people and a great event organizer, it was time for beer, and a trip to the hot springs. Please enjoy the pics! とても親切な人達で合って諏訪湖ウルトラマラソンが終わって、ビールと温泉の時間になったよ！写真楽しんで見てて下さいね！ Can you see Mt. Fuji? 富士山見えますか？ We visited this fantastic restaurant and onsen in the Suwa region called Yūtoron. I highly recommend! 諏訪の近くにある温泉「ゆーとろん」に行って見た。オススメです！露天風呂もいいし、食べ物が最高です！！！ また！

Emerald DAO NFTs to Celebrate the Bitcoin Cash Upgrade While the process of acquiring these guys involved some glitches, frustration, and a bit of time spent troubleshooting with devs, I finally was able to land a couple cool NFTs to celebrate May 15th's Bitcoin Cash network upgrade, which essentially enables UTXO-based token creation and smart contracts to rival those on Ethereum, all on-chain on the BCH network! For some odd reason I can't post links on Read.cash. I am hoping this changes soon. But — for those interested and willing to pioneer some possibly difficult unpaved trail with jagged apps and some small risk — you can search out the process of minting these NFTs, and utilize the innovative new functionality that now exists and itself works just fine, on the Bitcoin Cash protocol. Or, you can research the process and just make your own CashTokens! While the CashTokens CHIP has brought smart contract functionality to the network, dapp creation has just begun and UX still is going to be "adventurous" and likely rough for a while. However, this is how things go when you're on the bleeding edge! Am looking forward to all the development ready to explode on BCH. Why am I looking forward? ECONOMIC FREEDOM.

Running Blog 03: Tanuki Taper-Down Run, Suwako Ultramarathon! / タヌキラン、諏訪湖ウルトラマラソン！ The Suwako Ultramarathon is in two weeks. 80 kilometers around Lake Suwa in Nagano prefecture. The time limit is really tight (for me) and I'm a bit nervous, but up to the challenge! 後二週間ぐらいだけ、諏訪湖ウルトラマラソンまでに！８０キロメートルのウルトラですね。長野県の諏訪湖周りらん。制限時間が厳しくて、ちょっと心配してる。それでも、頑張ります！チャレンジをします！ In taper-down mode today. Ran around some backstreets with my favorite oni. Just a couple miles. Visited some wonderful Tanuki. 今日のランはテーパーダウンですので、二マイルだけで走った。好きな鬼と一緒にアドベンチャーしていた！タヌキちゃん達にも会いました。 また！

Running Blog 02: Hidden Trails, Abandoned Gods / 隠れトレイル、放棄された神々 I ventured off the pavement and beaten path today, after running up a tiny mountain nearby. 今日はランニングで小さい山を登った後、森の隠れトレイルで走った。 A ways down the trail, there's what looks to be an abandoned piece of an old Shintō shrine. A little further, overgrown concrete steps seem to confirm this used to be the site of one. ちょっと進むと廃墟の神社みたいな建物があります。草と笹で蔓延った階段もあるので、やっぱり、昔は神社かもしれないね。 I'll have to do some research on that. I ran without music today, but after "forest bathing," I did some sunbathing to this fantastic album: 僕本当に知りたいなら、この辺の歴史を検索しなければなりませんね。 今日は音楽なしで走っていたんですが、この森林浴終わったら、家で日光浴をしました、この素晴らしいアルバムを聴きながら： また今度ね。 *******

For the past two fall seasons, I’ve been doing a solo run here in Niigata I’ve dubbed the “Echigo Ultra,” where I plot my own course, do something that’s technically ultramarathon distance, and just enjoy the fall weather and foliage and feelings, disregarding whatever madness the psyop cult of the crown is trying to do. It’s been great. I really hope this app takes off. Twitter is amazing *just because* of all the people there, but once you’re suspended, it’s over. Greasy tracking, bot-filled app that allows porn but censors opinions the WEF lords don’t like.
