What follows is a simple quiz β€” no trick questions β€” by which you may deduce whether or not you believe all human interactions should be consensual.

Whether or not you are a voluntaryist.

Simply answer "yes" or "no" and tally your score at the end.

Let's go!

***

1. Is it okay to kill, steal from, kidnap or harm a stranger, just because someone told you to?

2. Are other people's bodies your property?

3. If 51% of a population wishes for violent things to be done to non-violent people, does the majority opinion make the violence acceptable?

4. If a majority of people around you have a belief system you disagree with, is it okay for them to force that belief system on you with violence or threats of violence?

5. If someone does not want to have sex with you, is it okay to force them?

6. If someone does not want to do business with you, is it okay to force them?

7. If someone peacefully does not wish to associate with you, is it okay to force them?

8. If you build a small cabin from raw materials in the wilderness, is it okay for someone to take this cabin from you by initiating force?

9. Is it okay for you to take someone else's similarly acquired log cabin by initiating force?

10. If someone has more money than you, does that in and of itself justify stealing from them?

11. Does the world/universe in its natural state "owe" you healthcare, food, shelter, and success, to the point where you would be justified in stealing from others to get these things?

12. Does anyone else not otherwise indebted to you owe these things in such a way that stealing from them would be justified?

13. If someone disagrees with you on a fundamental issue, is it wrong to respect their private property, as they respect yours, and simply disassociate, instead of trying to leverage violence against them?

***

RESULTS:

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, you are not a voluntaryist and believe that sometimes consent is not necessary in legitimate human interaction.

If you answered "no" to all of these questions, CONGRATULATIONS! You are a Voluntaryist anarchist, and have chosen the path of logic and reality over the violent religion of statism.

***

Now let's look deeper into each question, and why "no" is the only valid answer. Please reference the corresponding quiz questions to fully understand the key points below.

  1. Statist conceptions of war and policing always demand order following, and harming other individuals not because they have personally violated you, but because a government "authority" insists they are the enemy, is wrong.

  2. When you vote that people should pay taxes (collected under threat of jail or worse) for things you want, you are trying to lay claim to their money. To lay claim to their money is to lay claim to the body and labor that acquired it. Naughty, naughty.

  3. Democracy says that a majority somehow magically makes even immoral things acceptable. This is an infantile belief. The smallest minority is the individual, and the individual matters. In fact, without this concrete, smallest minority, their could be no such abstractn concept as "society."

  4. Just because everyone around me believes I owe them money, or that the tooth fairy is real, doesn't mean I do, or that she is. Just because everyone around me beleives the state is legitimate, does not mean it is.

  5. This is called rape. It is wrong. You don't own the bodies of others.

  6. This is what government services do. No matter how shitty the police or Department of Motor Vehicles service may be, you must pay them. Same for other government "services." Imagine if Papa John's Pizza operated this way. They'd be shut down immediately. BUY OUR PIZZA OR GO TO JAIL. Go home Papa John's, you're drunk.

  7. This is called violence.

  8. This is called stealing.

  9. This is called stealing.

  10. This is called stealing. This means someone with less than you is allowed to violate and steal from you as well. No peaceful society can be built on such an insane belief.

  11. If some stranger supposedly owes you something because you feel life is hard, and you steal from them to get it, the theft does not cease to be theft. Just because you vote to tax someone for this resource or service does not make it any less "theft" when the money is extorted by the hands of the state you support.

  12. "

  13. You may not like Neo-Nazis. They may not like you. You may not like "anti-vaxxers." They may not like you. If you think the answer here is voting for violent laws to harm them, or directly force them to do things against their will, instead of disassociating peacefully and avoiding contact, you are not a peaceful individual.

Thank you for playing!

My answer is "NO" all through. I have always been on the path of logic and would never force anyone to do anything. I believe no one owes me anything and whatever they do out of kindness should not be an entitlement. I am not a big fan of violence too.

I enjoyed going through this test, really.
