Forgetfulness
Have you been having a hard time to concentrating and being forgetful lately?
Maybe this is the cause!
Stress
Stress triggers a density in the mindset dimension, so there's no room to analyze the situation in a flow state condition. So the best step is to give a break. Take time for "me time" so your brain can be fresh again.
Lack of Sleep
Lack of sleep causes a deficiency or lack of the hormone melatonin. It makes you difficult to think clearly.
Less Movement
Physical activity makes the brain sharp so it makes you more agile in acting. So, if you don't move, your brain automatically goes wild and started overthinking. This can make you fail to focus, hard to concentrate and tend to forget.
Unbalanced Food
If you often eat foods that contain lots of preservatives, instant foods, or fried foods, causing blood flow to the brain to be somewhat blocked. So the solution is multiply foods that are rich in fiber, straight from nature such as vegetables and fruit, and if possible, it would be more better if you use organic products.
Electromagnetic Radiation
Radiation emits electrical waves strong enough to penetrate a vacuum and brain tissue. If used continuously, it will cause glaucoma and trigger the appearance of acoustic neuroma brain cells. So the brain tends to forget.
False Belief
If you believe that you are forgetful, and even tend to say it repeatedly throughout the day, then it's certain that weak memory will be adopted automatically in you. So it's best to avoid negative sentences.
So, if you are already forgetful, don't worry. There are still ways that you can apply to solve this problem.
Apart from exercising and getting enough rest, you can also eat the following foods :
Foods containing omega 3, like salmon, almonds, avocado, and fish oil can be consumed regularly and see the results after one month.
Grapes and tomatoes are also good for sharpening your memory. The high water content and vitamins A & B are able to produce lutein and zeaxanthin which are high in oxidants. So, they are very good for brain cell growth and prevent Alzheimer's.
A type of whole grain, eggs, dark chocolate and seeds, is also effective as a power enhancer in thinking. Amount of protein, folate and vitamin B-Complex in foods can reduce levels of homocysteine compounds in the blood.
Elevated homocysteine levels are associated with an increased risk of stroke, cognitive impairment, and Alzheimer's disease.
Green vegetables like a spinach, broccoli and pakcoy are rich in glucosinolate compounds.
When breaking down compounds, the body will produce isothiocyanates which can help reduce oxidative stress and reduce the risk of neurodegenerative diseases associated with the nerves of the brain.
Fermented foods like kimchi, kombucha, kefir, and yogurt are also good for the brain.
This is because fermentation involves adding food to a culture of microorganisms which then feed on the sugars in the food.
This process creates other products, such as lactic acid, which can produce gut-friendly bacteria.
When we eat fermented foods and get good gut health, we can also improve cognitive function. That's why fermented foods are good memory boosters.
The last one is turmeric!
Turmeric contains curcumin compounds which are very good for improving brain function. You can mix it into food or make drinks like jamu turmeric acid. Consuming it regularly can certainly improve the performance of your brain.
So, how about it? Still worried about forgetfulness? I hope not!
Don't be discouraged, okay? There are many ways to go to Rome. There will always a good results if we try.
Good luck!
