Finally, the last day of the long gifts. And it is ending with celebrations with drummers drumming.
The history of the drum is interesting and the practice of drumming has been in vogue for centuries. Drumming is connected to a lot of religious practices, symbolizing the heartbeat of Mother Earth.
In some cultures, it's considered to be evil and conveys only negativity. In some languages, the word for drum is derived from sacred words.
Drums are the backbone of a good band. They set the tempo, provide the rhythm and usually sit directly in front of the audience.
So, what goes on in your head when you hear the word "Drumming"?
"Drumming is cool" - I wouldn't deny that.
"I love drummers" - Am I right or wrong?
"Drummers are always late" - You heard that one?
"Drummers never have time for 'me' " - You thought of that too?
See, my point is the stereotypes we carry in our minds are limiting. That's all they are. Stereotypes. And they're wrong. All of them. They're limiting and they're not true. More than that, they dampen our spirits and stop us from achieving our true potential. If you're not a drummer, you'd think drummers are always late. If you're not a singer, you think singers are always rude.

The most important thing is that a drummer must have is rhythm. He must keep the beat going in all weather conditions, no matter how hot it is, or how cold it is, or how wet it is, or how dry it is, he has to keep the beat going.
And so if a drummer wants to learn this rhythmical drumming he had better get himself a drum and get to work on that drum, because without that quality of keeping a steady beat-going, he cannot advance any further in the world of drummers.
Drumming, is an age-old tradition in some cultures that is being passed on from generation to generation. A great drummer is always in high demand by big movie producers.
Drummers are the best musicians. They are the backbone of every band, and they keep everyone in rhythm. If you’re a drummer, you know it’s true. So does everyone else. In fact, a recent study conducted by researchers at UCSD shows that drummers are the most important musicians in a band based on their contributions to an album’s sonic and cultural complexity. There is no instrument more complex than a drum set.
**Drumming has been part of human history since at least the Stone. I attended a drumming festival and Here are some facts they told us about drummers and their instruments.**
Some of these are unreal to me, while some are funny. But I'll share them with you.😁
Fact #1: Drummers have the highest pulse rate of all musicians.
Fact #2: Drummers have the most stamina of all musicians.
Fact #3: Drummers have a great heart and they can not break their woman's heart.
Fact #4: A drum kit weighs more than an elephant.
Fact #5: If a drummer gets sick, he or she simply knows which drum to beat.
Fact #6: It is easier to snatch a drummer's sticks than a guitarist's pick.
Fact #7: A drummer can predict the weather.
Fact #8: Drummers are often mistaken for DJs.
Fact #9: Not all drummers are short, but all short people are drummers.

**Today is the 11th day of the gifts my true love gave to me.**
I am sure you all know the 11 days of Christmas... well Pipers piping piping pipers playing our favorite tunes piping a happy tune to the beautiful gifts my true love gave to me.
The 11th day is the Cello, which is like a big violin, it's loaded with over 6 million strings and is played by a bow.
Sometimes in life, we start out with the best intentions but get lost in the world of the cello.
The cello represents change, we have all changed irrrrrrregularly, some of us change more than others but we all at some point need to pick up our instruments and play again.
We all have different stories but we all have the same ending, everyone is playing for the same concert in the end.
**We** here is me and the other 10 pipers.
And what do we do with our instruments? We play them!
We find it easy to remember 11 gifts. But I wonder how many of us can recollect or even can better appreciate the 11 gifts that our true love gave to us.
We know we should have at least one **gratitude** journal where we should write down daily what we are grateful for.
But do you think it is enough?
**True Value Of Gratitude:**
I've heard it time and time again, the power of gratitude. A lot of people share the benefits of practicing it, but how do we even start? What does gratitude really look like in action? What is the true value of gratitude?
When I’m truly grateful for something, the last thing I want to do is boast about it. There’s a strange pressure that comes along with being authentically thankful as if it were better if no one knew about it. But when I write about it, I may be doing you a favor by making you aware of a positive thing in my life, so maybe you can experience some of the same.
When I think about the value of gratitude, I'm reminded of a night of drunken debauchery when I was in college. My roommate and I went to see a friend's band play at a local bar.
We ended up getting pretty wasted, and made some decisions that weren't the best but were definitely hilarious. But before I get into how grateful I am for that night, let's back up for a second.

In this day of constant connectivity and hyper efficiency, the art of saying thank you has gotten lost. But it’s a value that needs to be shared.
The power of a “thank you” is undeniable. Whether written, spoken or expressed through a thoughtful gesture, it can strengthen relationships, encourage creative expression and support charitable endeavors.
We are all vulnerable to feeling a lack and a need. Despite abundance in our daily lives, we all experience moments of insecurity, doubt, and unhappiness with our circumstances.
We have often been conditioned to believe that the way out of this is to pursue more by way of acquisitions, success or even perfection. But these methods may not work.

I don't mean to say that you shouldn't pursue your goals or work towards your goals. But what I am saying is that striving for a goal might not be enough to pull you out of a sense of lacking or neediness.
The reason is that there is a force at play here that is more powerful than you and more powerful than any material goal: the force of gratitude.
I find the value of gratitude is either grossly underappreciated or completely misunderstood. It's not just some nice thing to feel from time to time. It's the foundation on which happiness, contentedness and joy are built upon.

Gratitude is something that I've been talking a lot about over the last year. But you might be wondering, why so much gratitude?
There are two big reasons. One, it can have a positive physiological and psychological impact in your life. And two, I believe it's one of the most important ingredients when it comes to creating a purposeful life.

**Ask and you shall receive**
"Ask and you shall receive.” I have heard this quote most of my life and every time I hear it, I try to put it into practice. From praying to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, all the way to asking for a small favor from a friend, and so on.
Today I asked for a personal request from the man above and I received it. I don’t want to reveal it yet because when it's revealed you will know it’s true! For now, all I can say is the request was within my control and the final result was definitely within my hands.
It is through asking that our Desires are manifesting in our lives. Only those that ask will receive.
`Growing up, my dad told me a short story to preach asking to me. He said a little boy was going on the street, and he saw a man on a bike loaded with a big box of ice cream.`
`A lot of children were gathered around the man, listening to what he was saying`
`The man was saying "Just Matthew: 7 vs 7". None of those around the man was able to decode what the man was saying except the little boy who knew the bible verse says "Ask, and it shall be given unto you"`
`He walked up to the man and asked him for ice cream 🍨. And the man gave him the box of ice cream for being the only one to ask.`

We all have one thing in common, we ask for what we want. When we ask for something, we need to be clear in our thoughts and our heart. We have to have faith that what we ask for will come to pass. But before that happens, we have to believe that we can receive.
To believe we can receive is the first step towards receiving. Too often, the reason why we don’t receive is because we don’t believe that we can. But why wouldn’t that be possible? Look around you. What you desire is here whether you see it or not. The universe always delivers on our desires without fail if what you asked for truly aligns with your soul’s purpose.
Everyone has a purpose and everything you are asking for is already here waiting for you.
My request was to be comfortable in what I am, have a positive body image and to love myself more.
I asked to love myself more and to accept my flaws as strength. The courage of not being afraid to show myself off anymore! and I received what I asked for. How did I do this? With motivation and asking for help.
I asked for this because I have been lacking total strength over the years. Last year has a lot of challenges because there were a lot of joys, stress, sadness, and happiness.
I found a lot of support from my friends and family on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Even though I don’t know everyone personally I felt their support behind the screens. Their words of encouragement counted a lot for me.
You see so many people who have it all and yet they arent happy. Why? Because they didnt ask for it. They didnt believe in themselves enough to believe that things would come to them.
You need to ask for what you want in life. You need to ask for a promotion, for a raise, for a raise of hands from your peers if you want to be recognized. If you want to be a leader, you need to ask each and every follower that you want to lead.
There is nothing wrong with any of those things. But, people will tell you that they arent good enough or they arent ready or they are too young. The truth is, they are afraid of being rejected.
The reason we dont ask is because we fear rejection. Fear is our biggest motivating factor in everything we do and especially when it comes to asking for what we want.
Even if you think the answer is no, you need to ask.
In conclusion, here are the golden rules to get what you want:
- Ask
- Be cool
- Start with a humble heart
- Be on time
- Keep promises you make
- Build relationships, not money
- Be grateful for every little thing that comes your way and everyone who fills your day.

As we have began the Year, let's take some time to be thankful for what we have, and how we were blessed in the past year. Let us be grateful for the support of our friends and family.
**9th day- Ladies dancing**
Ladies dancing in celebration of the new year. The dance steps are unique and they change with time. In our country in the olden days, ladies used to dance and sing on this special occasion which was followed by a feast.
These days also the women of the household prepare delicacies for their family as well as other relatives who visit them on this day.
Let's get to today's word of exortation
It's the first Sunday in the New Year. Although, the world has been a mess in the last few years, but God has been faithful to us. We have seen a lot of miracles and yes God is great.
Sunday is for God, but Sunday is not just for God. Sunday is for me and you too. Sunday isn't about sleep in or watching football all day. Sunday isn't about random thoughts or new habits.
It's about a devoted day of being thankful, appreciative, grateful and excited. It's about joy, love, dancing and singing. It's about being unapologetically Black, unapologetically in love, unapologetically giving thanks to a higher power, unapologetically being still in the presence of God, unapologetically grateful.
**Set your affection on the things above, not on things on the earth.**
In the Bible, we can read about the word of God saying "Set your affection on things above, not on things that are on earth. For ye have died, and your life is hid with Christ in God."Colossians 3:2. We live with the world but we aim for the right thing.
We aim for the things that will last forever. We aim for the things that will stand the test of time. We aim for the things that will never fade away and will always be with us.
To get what we're aiming for, we need to be able to recognize it first.
Recognizing the right thing isn't always easy. The world we live in is getting more and more complicated day by day so it's almost impossible to see the real thing unless you know where to look. The only way to see the right thing in this complicated world is to have a guide who tells us where to look and what things to notice.
In our world today, money is king. It seems that we are all enslaved by wealth and material possessions. It's all just a distraction from what is really important in our lives. No matter how much we get, it's still not enough for us to be happy. We need more and more just to make us feel alive.
In the Bible, there is a story of a rich man who has everything he owns. He has so much that he doesn't even know what to do with his life anymore because he feels empty inside.
We can see God's love manifested in the works He does in our lives. We are God's workmanship created for good works, which God has prepared beforehand so we can do them (Ephesians 2:10). We are His workmanship and God's workmanship is good.
We are created to do good works from God and we must learn how to recognize Him through the things that He has done and is still doing.
The things that will last forever should never be forgotten by us. We need to change our affection to focus on what will last forever.
**Closing thoughts:**
Let's take this first Sunday of the year 2022 to devote ourselves to God, by thanking Him for all that He has done for us in the past year and commit ourselves to Him for the year ahead.
Everything in life is a gift and nothing is wasted, God is our provider, so we need to appreciate what we have. We have God, so why not appreciate him.
Light knocks out darkness, Jesus knocks out sin from our lives, Jesus knocks out bad health from our body.
If we love God and live for him, everything else will be added unto us.
I pray for everyone reading this post to enjoy this gift of life and live for Him to help others.

It's the 8th day and eight young maids have come to take milk from the cow.
I can feel the energy in the air. I've never seen them so excited.
It's like they're celebrating a delicacy.
They're collecting as much milk as they can in their small containers.
They were running around the field, playing and chasing each other, laughing and joking around.

**New year new resolutions**
The moment when 1st of January 2022 hit at midnight, I experienced new emotions. All the happiness and all the sadness of this year melted away in just one second.
All the things that went wrong and all the things that went right in last year faded away in just one area. I had a wonderful time with family, friends and loved ones today.
I had 12 months to read and i made it. I had 12 months to build myself and i have built it. I learned how to be me in public. I learned how to distinguish between negativity and positivity. I learned how to harness the power of social media for self-marketing and branding.
Year by year it feels like this day is approaching more quickly, as if it speeds itself up each year. The last night of the year is always a special moment for me.
When I look back at what I did and achieved this past year, I like to believe that I will always be proud of myself because whatever I did was because of my dreams, goals and desires.
I am thankful to all those who supported me in my endeavor throughout the year.
I went through many ups and downs, but ultimately you learn from your failures, accept them, make the correction and move forward.
I could not find the right words to describe the last year. The journey wasn't smooth but with each trial I learned something. There were many who helped me move forward and I am so thankful for that.
Unfortunately, we sometimes lose hope, focus and motivation in our life. It's not always easy to get out of creative rut or to overcome life's challenges. However, one thing I know for sure is: it's never too late to start again.
And this is what I want to wish you on the first day of the new year, new beginning, a fresh start, strong motivation and a lot of hope for the future.

13. Life is not always fair and the easiest thing to do is to throw in the towel but remember that the only way out of darkness is to turn on light.
14. Trust yourself, believe in yourself and do not let anyone define who you are unless you define it yourself.
15. Be true to yourself and do what feels right for you because one day you will realize that following your heart was always the best decision.

Today is the last day of 2021. The last moment to count down for the whole year. Today is the day when we all take a time out to thank our Almighty God for everything that he has done in 2021.
The last day of the year is a special moment for all of us. We look back at the year gone by, take stock of our achievements, ponder upon our shortcomings and wish that all had been ditto, but better.
We often promise ourselves to live a better life in the coming year. **"A more purposeful life"** we say. But how many of us are able to deliver upon these promises? Why is it so difficult to live a life that is worthwhile?
The way I see it, every one of us want to do better, its just not always easy to get there. Life is busy and our ambitions compete with our duties and ambitions. This year I stumbled across something that helped me stay on track towards my goals. I call this something - "The Power Of Why".

**New year Eve**
Witnessing the last day of the year is a very special moment in the life of every individual.
People spend their New year eve in various ways. Some spend their New year eve with their loved ones, friends and family in some place. Others spend their new year eve alone and for some it is a day meant for remembering about their pasts and celebrating the New Year eve.
Just like everyone, New year eve is a unique time of the year for me too. It doesn’t matter how much money you make, or how much power you have, even how much popularity you are having, but the one best thing about being human is that you cannot deny the fact that we all are human.
Today is an exceptional day as I experienced new things, many emotions and feeling which I cannot forget again in my life.
The humans around planet earth will be celebrating it with so much excitement and passion. It does not matter where we are, who we are with, what we are doing or what we are eating. We are all one having the same thought of wishing our loved ones a very successful and happy new year.
**I had plans too**
Months before I had set some personal goals and financial goals. Though some of them didn't work out exactly as planned, but I could still feel achievement.
For every task I finished on time, every dream that comes true and every goal achieved, I could feel accomplishment. The sense of accomplishment is worth more than any materialistic things on earth.

Today, the night of 31st December, 2021 is the last night of the year. The first moment of the next year will bring several resolutions to everyone. These resolutions are what you need to start working on from now.
While planning for them, I'd like to request you one thing that rather than looking back at what you have achieved this year, it will be better if you look forward to achieve more in the next year.
Looking back at what you have achieved this year will not only give you a sense of satisfaction but will also motivate you to work harder in the coming days. In fact hard work always pays off and it's a reward in itself.
Today, we should all look at the past year with pride and that's the right way to welcome 2022. Always try to keep some time aside for yourself and recharge yourself before starting a new day. This healthy practice will help you in leading a happy life and also contribute to your growth.

Today is the sixth day of my writing about what my true love gave to me. We have just a day and a few hours to enter into the new year. May God see us through
Geese are a symbolic and meaningful part of Christmas for many cultures, traditions, and families with the geese a-laying representing new life and creation as well as fertility.
So why do we honor them on the sixth day of Christmas? It potentially has something to do with the fact that in ancient times, people tended to eat goose on December 6th, to celebrate the solstice.
“On the sixth day of Chrismas, my true love sent to me: six geese-a-laying” - and the rest is history! However, this lyric was not always read this way. When it was first written by Caroll in 1853, it actually read “six geese a swimming”.
For those unfamiliar with the origins of this song, here’s a brief breakdown. Originally titled ‘The 12 days of Christmas’, the song tells of a married couple exchanging gifts for 12 days on their wedding anniversary.
The first line sets up the order of the gifts and then each subsequent line increases by one in order to express how much more she loved the gift than the previous gift. The true reason behind these lyrics has been debated far and wide.
**Geese- a-laying**
Whatever the real story behind it, the six geese-a-laying seems to be the most popular Christmas carol, but the story of this song is steeped in controversy.
The song first appeared in a Christmas edition of The Gentleman's Magazine published in 1833. A contributor by the name of Richard Clark claimed to have met an old woman from Exeter who claimed that she remembered celebrating Christmas with her family in 1555, before the Reformation, and before there was a Gregorian calendar.
It was Christmas Eve when as a child she went with her family to visit their elderly mother who was dying in a cottage on the edge of town. On the way home, it started to snow, and so for the warmth, she was put next to the fire, where she fell asleep.
As chimneys were not common at this time, she awoke to find that some geese had made their way down into the house and were sitting on her feet.
A new take on an old classic - While the idea of a 'sixth day of Christmas' seems like a total mystery to us, we're pretty sure that it was never intended to be one of the most annoying bits of song liturgy in existence.
But maybe we're wrong, and actually it's really, really cool that there's a secret day to still celebrate the nativity. That would make the six geese a laying on the sixth day of Christmas really really special, wouldn't it?
**The sixth day**
According to the Bible, God created the world in six days. Geese lay eggs without human intervention and can be counted upon to do so every year, without fail. Geese-a-laying are a much needed commodity.
The world is a circle of 6 days; starting with Sunday & ending on Saturday. It is symbolic as a circle, because it has no dependence on time & is perfect as such. Every single day is symbolical of God's divine power that keeps mankind alive.
The 6th day, depicts a day of rest, when everything comes to halt & takes the initiative to rejuvenate itself.

The fifth day of Christmas is here and it’s all about the things that are golden. It’s not a story about a materialistic world. It’s one about my father’s guiding principles in life.
Years ago my dad told me a story about a golden ring.
A King had a golden ring, which was all he had left of his former possessions, and he valued it highly. One day, having lost everything, he took the ring and went forth into the world to seek his fortune. In a far country, he sought refuge with a poor peasant who lived near the royal palace and who had two children.
The King's Ring was much admired by the peasant, and the King received many gifts in exchange for it. Then he returned to his kingdom, but he was turned away at the gate by his own faithful servant, who had become captain of the guard in his absence. His wife also repulsed him; she had married his brother during his absence.
He was turned away because he no longer possess the golden ring.
In his despair, the King wandered about for a long time without any fixed purpose. At length, he once more came to the peasant's hut and asked for shelter and food from him. He further asked if he could purchase his golden ring back. But the peasant said "the golden ring has gone to a place of no return"
The moral of the story is to value what really matters and not be blinded by materialism.

The Golden ring is a flash of light, but the light is the truth of who we are.
Our eyes see light and darkness, but our mind sees what is true.
Our mind sees the truth.
The truth is that we are enough.
The truth is that we are worthy.
The truth is that we are smart enough to listen to our inner voice and brave enough to follow it.
The truth is that we have gifts to share with the world.
The truth is that we have a gift to share with the world.
The gold ring represents our vision of how we can be and live in the world.
Our vision isn't a fantasy, but an opportunity for us to be and live in our best self.
The gold ring is an invitation to be more, do more, and give more.
It’s an invitation to stop settling for less than who you are and start living in your highest self.
What we see is not always what is true. Our mind often tricks us into believing that the truth is not true. It tricks us into not chasing our dreams, not seeing the possibilities of what we can become. And our mind tricks us into thinking that we aren’t worthy of achieving our dreams, that we’re not enough.
But there is a light. There is a golden ring in all of this where there is a light that tells us the truth about who we are: that we can do anything and everything, no matter what others say or think.
My mission is to show people who they really are and what they have done in their lives. I want to be able to show them the ultimate truth of who they are, why they are here, and what they can leave behind when they leave this place.

In life, we all have received help along the way. It is what fuels us to give back and help others --whether it’s a kind stranger on the street who picks up our dropped item or a teacher who instills an entrepreneurial spirit in us from an early age.
It doesn't matter how big or small the help, it reminds us that we are capable of more than what we think. And helping someone really does put you in a better place; the more you help others, the more you’re blessed yourself.
In life, it’s about giving something for the joy of watching others benefit from it. Trying to make something out of nothing has been my life motto..
**Fourth day of Christmas- Calling birds**
Calling birds to me means helping hands
Helping the depressed
Today I helped someone with what I have. I asked for nothing in return. That’s why it was a blessing for both of us. I was able to remind someone that he is not alone, that he has gifts and strengths with which to share. He was motivated by my act of kindness, it’s a gift that motivates the best in him.
I have been on this Earth for years and in that time I have had to give up a lot, and owing to the world we live in that has left me with practically nothing at all.
But what I do have is never leaving others feeling left out.
I am grateful that I can help someone who may be less fortunate than myself with the tools I have.
For me, today it wasn't about getting something for Christmas, it was about helping others.
When you do things to help others, God rewards you with what you need when you need it the most.
All my life I wanted a pet, but my daddy always said that I couldn't have one.
I had donated all of my will start with what I have.
**Giving out**
Today also I gave out a wristwatch. God has given us many watches. We need to know what time it is and we have many watches that do just that.
I gave out a watch because I had once been gifted a wristwatch too. This watch reminds me of someone who I care about. Whenever I look at the time, I must ask myself what time it is for the person, for if it isn’t time for him, then it isn’t time for me.
Let me quickly talk about this special person
I met her when she was down, on her luck and I just happened to have some extra money to help out a friend. But as it turned out, she didn't need my money; she needed my time—not to help her with a business venture or a project, but to help her work through a problem she was having in her personal life.
Needless to say, she was able to resolve the issue, and we've been friends ever since. She recognizes how much I love and appreciate her and has since become another sister that I trust, who helps me in my personal endeavors.
Try to help someone today. By doing so, you've made the person Happy and in return you will also find Happiness. It is the normal routine of life, and the bible even supports it, give and it shall be given unto you.
**Closing thoughts;**
"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also," the Bible says. I've been following this principle of life for some time now, and here's what it's brought me: a lot of love, support and help.

I am a true lover of life, family and friends. To celebrate this season of love, I have created a story with me as the muse.
This is my third day in a series of 12 days of Christmas which I will release over the course of the holidays. I wanted to make sure each story was different and shared something unique about me.
Today's article is coming late, due to my tight schedule. Mondays are know to be stressful. After I publish this article, I will go to sleep. I need to make this post, so my 12 days of Christmas won't be interrupted. As it is going, it will end on Epiphany eve.
**Third Day of Christmas- French hen**
`N:B I wasn't gifted french hen 😁. This gift I have is greater than a patridge in a pear tree, a turtle dove, and a french hen.`
The gift I love the most is my adventurous spirit and the ability to live in the moment. Love being shown from everyone around me.
This year, I've been loved by friends and families. Being loved truly is a special gift.
Love is the best medicine you can give to yourself.
Love yourself and make sure to love others.
We often forget that the best thing we can receive is love and not money.
Love our friends, family, relatives and love those who need it more than anything else.
Christmas makes us think that love is expensive, but it is free and simple.
Love is known by its deeds, not by what we say it is.
For the world has nothing left but to despise those who don't love themselves or others.
The truth is that love begins with us, in our hearts, we decide if someone can be loved or not, even if they are from another race or religion.
The greatest enemy of love is indifference, the one who does not care about the pain of others.
We need to make friends who truly loves. Show them love and let them reciprocate.
One that will make you laugh, smile and maybe even shed a tear or two.

Glory to God for making us see today. Some are dead while some are in pain, but we are alive, heal and healthy. I will live every day to praise and glorify the Lord. I pray that in this new year ahead of us, we will be more respectful and never forget the Lord. God is great and powerful.
Every 26th December is known as boxing day. Boxing day is named for the special day whereby employers hand out Christmas gifts to employees who were required to work on Christmas.
Also, in our church, every 26th of December is known to be our children get together party. Today we organized a party for the children. I'm celebration of Jesus Christ the reason for the season, they had a lot of games and quizzes. They enjoyed themselves and had fun together.

Being alive to see the last Sunday of the year is the second gift my true love gave to me.
**God's love**
It is the last Sunday of the year and I wanted to share with you an observation.
The most fascinating thing that I have observed in my life is God's love for people. Remember, when God loves someone, he makes sure such a person is satisfied. I have seen this happen so many times in the past that I can count them.
"It is not just a coincidence that you completed a great year in 2020, when you suffered through a difficult beginning, like the COVID 19"
It is a result of the fact that when God loves you, he creates a year for you. He makes sure your year will be great.
It's the last Sunday of this year, so next week will be the first Sunday in the new year. Although, the world has been a mess in the last few years, but God has been faithful to us. We have seen a lot of miracles and yes God is great.
**God's gift**
Everything in life is a gift and nothing is wasted, God is our provider, so we need to appreciate what we have.
Light knocks out darkness, Jesus knocks out sin from our lives, Jesus knocks out bad health from our body.
If we love God and live for Him, everything else will be added unto us.

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to you all. It's a day of celebration all over there world. Today as we all know, is a day of enjoyment as Christians all over the world are celebrating Christ.

On this Christmas morning, the first thing I did was to thank God for making me witness another Christmas.
After an hour of chatting on social media and wishing my friends and family a Merry Christmas, we went to church for an hour to praise God.

We went home, I went to take one of the chickens and slaughtered it for my mum and sister to do the cooking. Mom made the Jollof rice and left the turkey for me to bake.
**A Patridge on a pear tree**
I received my Christmas gift today. (A Patridge on a pear tree 🤠😆)
Before she finished making the Jollof rice, I put some music on and started cooking the chicken. I put the turkey in the oven. My phone rang and it was my friend's sister. She wanted to know if I could come over because she had something for me. I told her I was at home cooking, but she insisted that I should come to her house. But of course, I didn't want to disappoint her so I had to rush things up and keep the chicken on my brother's watch
Her house is only 5minutes from me. So I told her I'll bring it to her house. I cooked faster and got ready, left my house, and went over there. While on my way to her place, it came to my mind what could it be?
When I arrived I knock on the door and she opened the door with a big smile on her face and gave me a hug. She told me she won $1,000 from the Bitcoin com giveaway I told her about. Really? I was so happy, even though I wasn't able to participate in the giveaway. I had no money to purchase BCH or BTC. But at least someone did make it through me. Because of that, she bought a Guitar for me.

The turtle is known for carrying his home on his back. The turtle has always been the animal that demonstrates loyalty and dedication to survival. The turtle never leaves his carriage behind during times of need.

Loyalty, dedication, and persistence are all characteristics of a successful entrepreneur. A turtle never abandons his carriage.
A turtle may not get the praise he deserves or he may be overshadowed by others in the limelight but the turtle represents those hard working individuals that stay loyal to the grind until they reach their goals.
The turtle abdicates its carriage only if it dies. It never abandons the carriage. This is one of the lessons that we learn in life.
When one goes out into the world and becomes successful, one needs to make sure that he still remembers those that were with him during times of hardship. There were a lot of people who were there for me when I was at my lowest and I am so thankful for that.
In my journey I have seen people who were extremely successful but still maintained the values in their hearts. They share their earnings and help their friends to grow. They are able to measure their priorities in life.
That brings me to my next point about success.
Success means a lot of things to different people. It's not just about the monetary value of it, but also whether you feel successful internally and on a personal front as well. So, it's important to understand one's own shortfalls and work towards achieving that state.

Few things are as irritating as having a friend who has it all. A friend who came from less and went on to have more. A friend who brags about their success as if you’re supposed to feel inferior. A friend who believes that the universe owes them because they decided to make more of themselves.
I’ve seen people like this. They are the worst and I’m glad that I don’t have any friends like this. However, there is a lesson from them, which I want to share with all the students who are about to graduate high school.
Because when you go into the real world and look for a job or start a business, you will find that people like that exist. And some of them will be people around you. And it will be tempting to do what they do…to brag about your success as if it doesn’t matter how we got here.
What I have learned in life is this… Every one of us is different. We have different challenges, different aspirations, different lives. No two are the same. Steve Carrell’s character had his challenges, when he was fired, he was dejected, broken. But what did he do? He faced the challenges head on. He never gave up. And when he needed them the most, his friends were there for him.
He did not abandon them when he went on to do great things.
It’s not just enough to succeed. Success comes with responsibilities; it comes with challenges. If one goes out and become successful, one needs to remember those that were with him during times of hardship, those that stuck by his side, those that supported him and help him grow through his rough patches.
It is important that success stories carry their past where they came from and help develop it further.

A Christmas story

The continuous repeat of that song woke me up from sleep on this Christmas morning.
My brother was the one playing the Christmas song on a loudspeaker. Today is Christmas, he said to me. It’s the day we’ve been waiting for all year long just to celebrate our religious festivity.
Waking up to see the snow falling outside my window, I felt like celebrating. I wished that Santa Claus would come with gifts and fill my stockings, but it was all a dream. I realized that being with family and loved ones was all I needed to make this Christmas a memorable one, along with a cup of hot cocoa and delicacies.
I was sitting on the couch with my mother and father, when all of a sudden, I heard some rustling around the Christmas tree. My eyes widened with joy when I saw Santa coming in through the door.
Santa: Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas Abhay!
I was shocked and scared when I saw Santa standing in front of me. He handed me a huge box that had red wrapping paper on it. I ran up to get his gift. I opened it and I saw a new pair of shoes in it.
I jumped and hugged him, and said, "Thank you for the two pairs of shoes you bought me. They were just what I wanted for Christmas!"
I looked up at Santa, and he had a big smile on his face. I hugged him tightly as if he were my best friend.
He let me go, and said, "I am glad you like it. Now look down here."
I did as he asked. "What is this?
Is this a bicycle?" I asked in total awe. Yes, he got me a bicycle! I will never have to trek again!
"Yes," Santa replied with a laugh, "Now that is what you have wanted all along. I was so happy. I wonder how he knew what I wanted. I had always wished to have a bicycle, but dad and mum didn't get it for me. They told me to face my studies, that I'll get distracted by a bicycle.
I ran into my room and brought out a special gift made in anticipation of his coming. I never knew he would come that day, it was the first time he would be visiting our house.
I handed him the gift that I worked really hard on making him. It was a hand-painted picture of him and me on top of his sleigh, ready to fly away. Santa smiled at me, and patted me on the head, and said, "Abhay, you are so creative!" Just then, my mother came out of the kitchen with a plate of cookies that she baked for Santa.
Wow! "Thank you very much my beautiful people,” he said as he brought me back to my seat. His jacket was pure red, with small white dots all over it. His chest was covered by a red vest, with a small golden star above the heart. He had a full white beard reaching up to his ears and a long, curvy nose and rosy cheeks. His eyes were shining golden and his smile was filled with joy. He had two big black boots, almost reaching above his knees. On his belt, you could see small golden letters written on its buckle, “Merry Christmas”.
He shared the cookies with me. He told me the story of how and where he came from. We sang some Christmas songs together and we danced to the tune.
"It's time to go," Santa said. I didn't want him to leave, I was already attached to him.
He told me he had a long journey ahead of him. I had no option other than to let him go.

"Goodbye Santa" I said, "Goodbye Abhay" he replied.
See you next year. I stared at him as he was leaving, hoping he would look back and say he isn't going again. He didn't turn back. When he left, I ran into my room and cried loudly. A few moments later, I remembered the shoes and bicycle he brought for me, I jumped up and ran outside and rode my bicycle down the street.

First of all, I want to give all glory to God. For his protection and guidance over my life. He has been the one keeping me alive and healthy since I came into this world. Being alive to witness another birthday is not by my power neither is it by my might.
To my parents, I'm so blessed to have them as my parents. Their love is unconditional. They brought me up thus far with the strength of God. Them taking care of me is part of the reason I'm alive to add a year to my age.
My birthday is one in a million 😁. A very special day 22nd December. Just three days away from the celebration of Jesus Christ.
So glad to be at home to celebrate my birthday with my family. I've been far from home and now I'm back home (nothing like no way home for me 'if you don't Gerrit forget abowrit)
**Birthdays in Nigeria**
Early this morning, after my dad prayed for me. I went outside the see what's going on. Then my neighbor came from behind and poured water on my body. I ran away, but half of the water had wet my cloth already.
This is how we celebrate birthdays in Naija 😂. Pouring water on the celebrant. Some overdo theirs and mix sand with water before pouring it on the celebrant.
I don't do it for people on their birthdays because I count it useless and childish. I remember a girl in secondary school, on her birthday, a guy poured little water on her to wish her a happy birthday. She turned around and gave the guy a hot slap. We were all surprised 😯. She later pleaded with the guy, but that slap can never be forgotten.
I don't react to it when it's done to me, I just run away and smile that's all.
To my friends, I can't love you less. Since midnight, I've been receiving birthday wishes. The love is just so real. Thanks to you all.

This is a true Christmas story of myself years ago. When I was ten (10) years old
The jingle bells song from the Catholic church near our house woke me up. I was enjoying my sweet sleep. The continuous and sweet melody of the Christmas song being played in the Catholic church made me realize it was 8:00 am on a Christmas morning already.
I woke up with a big smile on my face. The love I have for Christmas is so special.
Meanwhile, I had a dream over that night. In the dream, It was Christmas day also, then one of my cousins came and gave me a new phone as a Christmas gift. I was so happy I'm the dream, you know when you are having a sweet dream and suddenly it goes away, I don't know if it happens to everyone but for me, I'll try to bring the dream back myself by creating the scene back in my head. But to no avail, I woke up and realized that the laptop was all a dream.
Back to Christmas morning. I rose from the bed, Said my prayers, and went to the living room. No one was in. I knew my parents wouldn't be around as they had told us they had somewhere to go on Christmas morning.
I went out searching for them, but I still couldn't find them.
The world will be celebrating Christmas today and here I am all alone in the house. Being alone isn't a problem for me, but being alone during Christmas is great pain in my heart.
Where did my siblings go? Mum and dad mustn't hear that my siblings left me (the last born) all alone in the house. In my mind, I was already preparing my report speech to my mum when she comes back.
I came back in, sat on the couch, switched on the TV, immediately I pressed the remote to change the channel, the power went off. Oh My God, I was starting to get scared. What would I do? Nobody to keep my company. The television that could have kept my company couldn't work without a power supply.
Why would they leave a 10-year-old boy alone? At that time my eyes were filled with tears already.
Then suddenly, a biscuit fell from the ceiling. I was surprised, so manner still falls from heaven I thought. I took the biscuit and ate it. A few minutes later. Then a peanut fell again, I was happy because I liked peanuts then. I took it immediately and ate it. But why will God send just a peanut? While I was still reasoning about that, then the whole sachet of peanut fell. Wow! it was so amazing, that I forgot I was home alone and started enjoying the manner from above.
I ate the peanut and waited steadily for another food to fall. I believed God knew I was alone and hungry that was why he sent the biscuits and peanut to me, without knowing the 10-year-old me was being fooled by my siblings who were hiding behind the chairs.
Taadaaaa!!! They scared me from behind. I was frightened and they all burst into laughter. Why are y'all laughing? "I asked"
My sister then told me of how they've been watching me from behind the chair. I told them of the gifts that fell from heaven. They laughed one again, this time the laugher was long. I don't know when I joined them laughing.
What's wrong? "I asked"
Then She said they were the ones throwing it up. She showed me the remaining ones left to confirm their prank.
I do laugh whenever I remember that experience, I feel like a fool because how will biscuits fall through a closed ceiling. But I believe it is a December to remember. That experience will forever be in my head.
Mum and dad came back and I told them how I was fooled, they laughed at me as well.
That alone wasn't what made my Christmas fun that year. My dream came through as well. Dad came back with a little Tecno phone and gave me as a Christmas gift. I was overwhelmed and grateful.
I went to the street to show my friends my phone. That year I didn't buy any knockout. They gave it to me in exchange for a minute holding my phone.
To be very honest, that Christmas is one of the best I ever had.

It's the end of the semester, and every department and hall on campus had a dinner party.
Sultan Bello Hall (my hostel) used a week to celebrate the end of the session. Below is how the week went down
**Day 1- Hall gyration and Rally**
**Rally**
It started this last Sunday. The activities performed that day were rally and gyration. The name sultan is a title given to Islamic rulers. So we all dressed like sultans by putting on jalamia and tying a scarf around our heads and neck. Two horses were rented, And as the culture has always been, the hall mayor will be the one to ride the horse.
We had our faces painted for the rally. Everyone with different face paintings.
We went for the rally playing music, drums, and trumpets. We rallied around the whole campus that day. We were jubilating and dancing, just for people to know sultan Bello Hall was there.
After hours of going about, we came back to the hostel. It was late in the evening, so the hall mayor told us to go inside and freshen up and get ready for the gyration.
**Gyration time**
At night, the gyration began, the DJ gave us the vibe. We partied that night with the presence of Chapman, palm wine, and Asun (roasted meat).
It was fun throughout that night. Immediately we finished the gyration, I went straight to my room to relax. I slept off and woke up the following morning and found out I didn't lock the door throughout the night. It was God that protected me because none of my things were stolen.
Day 2
Morning- Health care
The second day of the hall week. A health care group came to the hall to test us and lecture us about how to live healthily.
They did HIV test for us all. It was my first time doing the test. They pierced our thumbs with a little pin and took little of our blood for the test.
The results came out negative. None of us was HIV positive in the hall. They gave us condoms to prevent contracting HIV and other Sexually transmitted diseases.
**Night- Movie/game night**
This night was fun. As the game is what students like the most. We played a lot of games that night. From table tennis, to board games like scrabble and ludo. It was fun that night, as the games made everywhere lively.
After playing those games for hours, then we moved to pad games, which is the real deal. There were three games available that night. Some played PES, some played FIFA, while the others played mortal combat.
I played the only one I can play, which is PES. Though I try sometimes in FIFA, but I'm not good at it like I am in PES.
That same night, we were shown a movie in the Hall's dome. I left there that day because I was stressed. I started hearing from people that I missed a lot, that the movie they showed was interesting.
Surprisingly, the movie they watched was **Shang chi and the legend of the ten rings**. I laughed and laughed because I had watched the movie already. I was happy I didn't even stay there to watch the movie. Though it is a very interesting one. A very great work done by the Marvel cinematic universe.
**Day 3**
**Sultan of the kitchen**
Day 3 was just about finding the best cook among the sultans. There were five contestants for the sultan of the kitchen. As you can see in the picture above. Individuals paid 1,000naira i.e $2 to participate. And the grand prize was 25k naira approximately $50.
I wasn't around that day, it was the same day with my department's dinner. I would have participated If I was around. But all well and good, my department's dinner was so wonderful.
I came back late from my departmental dinner that night. By the time I came back, they'd finished the cooking competition already. And I was told the guy with the red apron won.
**Day 4-** Spelling bee/ Spag night

On the fourth morning of the sultan Bello Hall week, we had a spelling bee. We chose a representative from each floor of the hostel. They were all given words to spell. My floor's representative was good but he made a mistake while spelling a word, so we took the second position.
**Spag night**
This night was fun. It is a tradition that a night will be dedicated for common pot. Common pot means gathering of foodstuffs by all students and cooking them together.
This year's was great. The hall mayor-elect and some other people had gone to the market to get pepper. So all we had to do was to bring one spaghetti each. It wasn't compulsory, in the sense that even those that didn't pay ate out of the food.
We cooked the page together in a big pot. While the spag was on fire, we were gyrating at the same time. Singing like we were having a bonfire. We all brought out our plates as we ate the delicious spaghetti we made.
Day 5- **Dinner party**
To round up the week and session as a whole, we ended it with a dinner party. Where got our tickets for 3000naira ≈ $6.
Awards were presented that same night. The hall mayor-elect was sworn in as the predecessor is a finalist and is leaving the University.
Every activity performed during the week we're great. So glad we had a nice time after a long exam.

Today I made a terrible mistake, but I know it is an experience which I would make sure it doesn't repeat itself ever again. I've been selling my BTC and BCH to Fiat money, not today. And I've never had any issue with it.

I make use of Remitano every time I want to sell it. It is a very good and reliable app to sell and swap your cryptocurrency. I've been using Remitano for over four months but today, I felt like a novice on the app.
Normally whenever I want to deposit the Cryptocurrency, I'll choose the Cryptocurrency which I want to sell. Most times, it is either Bitcoin or BitcoinCash. And I've never made any mistake since I started using the app.
But today, I needed some cash and so I decided to sell some BCH to cash. As usual, I went to Remitano, copied the depositing address and I sent $12 to the address.
On a normal day, the BCH I sent will reflect on the Remitano wallet immediately. I waited for a while, thinking it was probably a network issue. I waited for over thirty 30 minutes, and by then I knew something was wrong somewhere.
I went to my bitcoin.com wallet and checked the transaction status and it says confirmed. Then I knew the fault isn't on the bitcoin.com wallet but on Remitano. So I took to their email and sent them a complaint
Below was the message I sent to them
`Good afternoon. I tried sending some BCH which is worth $12 to remitano wallet. For over an hour now It hasn't reflected on the app. I checked the transaction status on my bitcoin.com wallet app and it says the transaction is confirmed. I need to sell the BCH as I need the money urgently. Please respond to this ASAP.`
Remitano's reply
`Hello Abiodun, Your deposit was not detected in the BCH network. You sent it to the wrong address, therefore your BCH is pending and hasn't been reflected yet on Remitano wallet.`
It was at this moment I knew I fucked up. How would I make such a terrible mistake? Instead of copying the BCH address, I copied that of BTC. Which means I sent the BCH to a BTC address. A terrible headache attacked me immediately I saw remitano's reply to my email.
My $12 was now looking at me face to face but I couldn't withdraw it. Because it was showing under Vietnamese Dong (VND), Something I haven't even heard before in my life.
There were two reasons behind the mistake I made. One was because I was in haste. After all, it wasn't my first time, I knew every step already.
The second reason is that I deal with two similar cryptocurrencies on Remitano. I deposit both Bitcoin and BitcoinCash, so I had forgotten to change the crypto I want to deposit to BCH. I just sent it to the first depositing wallet I saw, which was that of BTC.
We all lose sometimes, that is what I know is surely inevitable. And also, every mistake is a lesson. I've had an experience today and I'm sure I would never make the same mistake again. Henceforth I'll always make sure I check the address I want to deposit in.
I hope people learn from my story because this particular mistake can be done by anyone into cryptocurrency. It's not necessarily on the Remitano app. It can be made on any crypto wallet.
Make sure you check the address you want to send to, so you won't lose your money.
There is no refund for you, once you've made the mistake your money is gone just like mine today.

There are two friends, Meco, and vulcy. They are what we call a perfect match. They were made for each other. Why are they so perfect together? Just because they were both poor like a church rat.
It's not that they are lazy, but it was most likely a curse. They both had handwork. One was a vulcanizer, while the other was a mechanic. These are handworks some people do and have success in it. They had no bank account, the little they make a day, they spend it on food.
One day, they both decided to find a way out of their problem. They just decided to give it one more trial, because they had gone to several places to seek for help, but nothing came out of it.
This time around, they both agreed to go and seek help from an herbalist. Their plan was to do money ritual. Though they know the consequences, but they cared no more. What has being faithful and loyal brought to them? "they said".
In the morning before they went to seek the herbalist for help. The Vulcanizer warned the other friend of the possible consequence of what they were about to do. Below was their conversation
**Vulcy:** Meco!
**Meco:** yes?
**Vulcy:** one part of me, does not support what we want to go and do.
**Meco:** what do you mean? After we agreed to go and see baba.
**Vulcy:** I don't just know why I'm feeling this way
**Meco:** what don't you understand. See we have suffered enough, let's go and make this money. Worst case, he would tell us to bring money, or goat, or kola nut.
**Vulcy:** and where will you get those?
**Meco:** we'll borrow and pay back later.
**Vulcy:** Alright.
They both dressed up and went to meet the herbalist.
When they got there, they told the herbalist of their problem. And the herbalist then told them that there is only one solution to their problem, and it is quite difficult.
He told them that one of them will have to be used as a sacrifice so that the other person will be rich. They were both shocked. You mean one of us will have to die, so the other can be rich "vulcy asked". Yes, my son "the herbalist replied".
Immediately vulcy stood up and told Meco to follow him.
**Vulcy:** Meco let's go. I'm not doing this again. I know there will surely be a clause.
(*Meco stood up and agreed with vulcy. And they both left*)
Vulcy never knew Meco had it in mind to go back and see the herbalist. Meco was too desperate to be rich. He fooled vulcy and said he wanted to go get something from the market, whereas it was the herbalist's place he went.
He got back to the shrine and told the herbalist that he is ready to do the ritual. Then the herbalist gave him the charm to put in his friend's food. The herbalist gave Meco a warning to make sure his friend eats the charm within 24 hours, if not he will be the one to die.
On getting home, Meco prepared a plate of rice and added the charm to it. Hungry Vulcy who was just coming from his shop with no money came in and saw the plate of rice. "Meco definitely made this food for me," vulcy said.
As he was about to put the first spoon in his mouth, he got a call that they needed him in a seminar to teach some people about his work, and he will be paid $2,000. On hearing the $2000, he dropped the spoon in his hands and jumped and shouted.
Meco who was watching him from a corner ran in and said what happened. Vulcy explained and immediately took his bag and started going to see the man.
**Meco:** come and eat your food first
**Vulcy:** I will be late, I'll come back and eat it.
**Meco:** at least eat a spoon
Vulcy did not even wait to hear what he had to say. Meco began to fear. It's 12 hours already after the herbalist gave him the charm. And according to the herbalist, he was going to die if vulcy doesn't eat the food.
He kept the food expecting vulcy to return and eat it. But unfortunately, vulcy called him that he won't be coming home for two days because of the business contract he got.
Meco knew that was his end, and couldn't rest. He wrote a letter down in anticipation of his death and in the letter, he explained to vulcy how greediness made him go back to the herbalist to do money ritual but wasn't successful because vulcy didn't eat the food. Exactly after 24 hours after Meco collected the charm, he gave up the ghost.

Closing thought
Greediness always yields to a bad result. If Meco didn't go back to betray vulcy, he would still be alive. Also, he would have enjoyed the money together with vulcy. But he ended up in a bad way due to greediness.

Myth busting competition- You cannot buy anything with Bitcoin

The first obvious point to prove this is a myth is El Salvador. The government of El Salvador made Bitcoin the legal tender of the country. Adopting Bitcoin as Legal tender means that all they do with fiat Money before will now be done with Bitcoin.
Salvadorans buy and sell with Bitcoin. All their day-to-day transactions are now being done with Bitcoin. Companies use Bitcoin as means of exchange. The government made a law that says the citizens will be able to pay taxes in Bitcoin, and shops will be able to display prices in the digital currency.
Bitcoin has made things easy for us. An uncle of mine who deals with buying and selling of foreign goods no longer uses cash app or bank transfers to pay for imported goods. All he does is just to know the price of the goods he is buying in Bitcoin. And this was easy for him because he buys the same quantity of goods every time.
**You can buy anything with Bitcoin**
Some companies have already adopted the use of Bitcoin. Their customers make deals with them with Bitcoin.
Transacting with Bitcoin enables fast and cheap payments across countries, and it doesn’t require banks.
**Electronic Appliances**
A lot of Electronics companies have begun the adoption of Bitcoin as a means of payment. They don't deal with cash all the time. All they have to do is to send their company's wallet address to the customer. Or better still with the use of a crypto debit card.
The crypto debit card would have been loaded with Bitcoin, just like the debit card we use in banks. With the use of the crypto debit card, the seller will receive payment as fiat Money.
I saw the advertisement of a company that deals will selling refrigerator, pressing iron, television set. They made it Known in the advertisement that they accept payment in Bitcoin.
**Vehicles**
Car dealers are now accepting Bitcoin as a means of payment. One of our relatives is a car dealer. I went to his office one day, that was where I learned that he accepts Bitcoin as payment too.
Even he pays Bitcoin for the importation of his cars. This means they accept Bitcoin as payment abroad too. He needs not to stress himself by doing a bank transfer. He pays for the cars and the shipping fee in Bitcoin.
**And lot more**
There are a lot of things you can buy with Bitcoin. You can buy Gold and pieces of jewelry, Computers, and so on with the use of Bitcoin. In fact, there is nothing you can't buy with Bitcoin. So far it is in large quantity. This doesn't mean little products can't be bought with Bitcoin. It can definitely. Just that only companies that dell in large quantities have accepted the use of Bitcoin.
Making transactions in Bitcoin i.e buying in Bitcoin is a very fast and reliable means. It should be adopted in all parts of the world.
I'm looking forward to when my country will finally adopt Bitcoin as her legal tender too. It is going to save a lot of stress and it will make the country digital.

My smartBCH Adventure: We learn everyday

smartBCH as the name implies is a smart innovation in BitcoinCash. In the few months it was launched, it has created a lot of opportunities and has explored a lot of new ideas.
I only got to know about smartBCH two months ago. I've always seen airdrops on telegram requesting for smartBCH address. But because I knew nothing about smartBCH I will just flip it over without knowing I was skipping huge opportunities.
I decided to search about smartBCH to have knowledge about it. I searched Google. I found some results but they weren't quite explanatory. I went to YouTube, I watched a lot of videos on smartBCH and I learned a few things there.
In one of the videos, I saw someone using **Metamask**. That was what made me download the Metamask app on my mobile phone. The only wallets I knew then were Bitcoin.com wallet and Trust wallet.
During my research, I came across WANG'S WORLD YouTube channel. That was where I further learned about smartBCH and some Dexes.

So now after getting my Metamask wallet how do I start? Where do I get my first smartBCH?
The first smartBCH I had was Eros. With the videos I've watched and with the help of My brother (who knows about smartBCH well). We were in different states, so he had to explain it to me on zoom.
He thought me how to add the smartBCH network to Metamask
He also thought me how to add the contact address of smartBCHs.
Ever since he thought me that, I've always done it myself. I was given 1 Eros in a telegram airdrop. A week or two weeks after, the Eros had value on market cap. I didn't know what to do with it 😄. I was happy it finally had value, but Instead of swapping it to BCH to make interest, I kept looking at it till it decreased from over $80 to $37.
That was when I asked my brother about what to do with it. Oppps! "He shouted". He told me to swap it immediately. Then ai hurriedly went to **benswap,** By the time I swapped it, it was already on $32.
That was my first lesson.
**Buying smartBCHs**
The first time I tried sending BCH to the smartBCH wallet I almost gave up. I used coinflex to make the transfer. I never knew it takes so long to get the transaction done. I thought it was like the normal BCH transaction on the Bitcoin.com wallet.
After saying a lot of prayers in my mind 😆, my BCH arrived in my Metamask wallet. I was so happy, the fact that I didn't lose my money gave me joy.
**I bought Eben**
With the use of **bchcc.cash** which is now a faster way of sending BCH to your smartBCH wallet. I sent some BCH to my Metamask and used it to buy Eben on benswap. I bought it and staked it.
Staking is another thing I like about smartBCH. Instead of having your money in a stagnant position in your wallet. smartBCHs has the avenue for you to stake and make a profit.
**Tango et xTango**
A few weeks ago, I started hearing about Tango everywhere. I read some things about it and realized it was a new Dex in smartBCH. I can't waste this opportunity. I bought some Tango, though it was little, but thanks to staking. I staked it so now I have xTango
**The funny/ unfunny moment. (How I forgot my recovery phase when my Metamask was uninstalled?**
I am a very cautious person. I don't joke with my seed/recovery phases. Since I know it's like the password to my assets.
On that dreadful day, I don't know how it happened, I just couldn't find Metamask on my phone again. Probably I uninstalled it by mistake or the app crashed itself. So I downloaded it on Playstore again and installed it.
Now I tried to log in and import my recovery phase, that was how the recovery phase became **John Cena** and said **"you can't see me"**😂.
There is a book where I do write my recovery phases, I searched through the whole house, but still couldn't find the book.
Eiiiiii. And as at that time, I had $100BCH in Metamask wallet which I sent through bchcc.com. Aside from that, my Eben, CATs, and others will all be gone 😭. And I get tired easily when I'm looking for something over and over in a particular place.
I couldn't take it again. I dropped my phone and slept off. About an hour or two hours later I woke up. It was as if I got the direction from my dream 😂. I just stood up and decided to check the wardrobe.
The wardrobe was the last thing on my mind because I never kept books there. But fortunately for me, I found it there. I was the happiest man on earth that day.
**Closing thoughts**
My experience so far with smartBCH has been wonderful. I hope it becomes more known to the world. Also, I hope more wallets will support smartBCH soon. Metamask has been useful, but we need more wallets in the smartBCH world.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 says we should always give thanks to God in everything. That is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning us.
Mind-blowing things are things that are overwhelmingly impressive. Things that are extremely immense.
God had done great and mind-blowing things in the life of every living human. Seeing another Sunday in the last month of the year is a great thing.
**God can Break protocols because of you**
She applied for a scholarship without reading the requirements. She had submitted the application form before realizing she wasn't qualified for the scholarship. But God in his miraculous ways broke the protocol and won the scholarship for her.
Out of hundreds of participants, she was among the thirty (30) people chosen for the scholarship. She had written it off her mind when she saw that she wasn't qualified for the scholarship.
There are a lot of people that have more qualifications for the scholarship than her, but God showed that he can do mind-blowing things.
She didn't even bother checking if she was given the scholarship since she knew she wasn't qualified. According to her testimony, one day she was just bored, and just decided to check through her mail. She checked her G-mail imboxes, and there was nothing.
She just kept scrolling up and down the Gmail app, without finding anything in particular. God just laid it in her mind to click on the SPAM folder. She clicked it, and the first message she saw was the scholarship approval message.
This is a testimony of a friend of mine. With her permission, I brought up this article.
How God works, no man can predict. He can make an unknown man rule over a known man. Don't you see what he did in the life of David in the Bible? Out of all the children of Jesse, God singled out David. This means God can do whatever he wants in order to make one great.
He brought him out of his family, a little boy was anointed by Samuel and killed a giant that no soldier could face. That same little boy became the king and ruled over a nation.
God can Break protocols for you. If others are following a lot of processes before achieving something, yours would be easy and without stress.
**When he heals, he heals completely**
Illness and Diseases are nothing besides the power of God. I've heard the story of a man that has cancer and later went to check the sickness status and found out it was gone.
This week after I got my vaccine, I fell sick that night. Throughout the day, I felt nothing, in fact, I still played football. I fractured my leg trying to dribble someone. That was when I stopped playing ball that day, and I went inside then this feverish feeling started coming up.
What is this lord? With the pain in my leg, I was shivering with a very hot body temperature. All I did was to use paracetamol and I asked God to heal me, then I slept.
The following morning, I felt no pain, neither the injury on my ankle nor the fever. All was gone. This is to show that when God heals he heals completely.

Out of all the festivals we have around the world, Christmas is the one I love the most. Ever since I was a child, I've always loved Christmas. Everything about the season is enough for one to love it.
As a child, I usually see the way our house looks during Christmas. My siblings would make decorations to make the house and everywhere look colorful and fascinating.
They did this for years, till they grew up and found nothing special in the decorations again. I could remember vividly that year, we had just a few days to Christmas and my siblings hadn't decorated the house.
I asked them why, they said what's the essence of the decorations. I disagreed with them and decided to make the decorations myself since I was no longer a child.
I brought out the Christmas tree, ornaments, Christmas lights, and Christmas cards from the store. I decorated the house in a way my siblings have never done before.

I hung the ornaments on the Christmas tree. Surrounded the tree with some Christmas lights, placed the Christmas cards in a well-designed place. Everyone that saw the decorations commended me for making a nice decoration.
Since then, I've been the one making the Christmas decorations, because my decorations are top-notch. There was a year my Aunt came and saw the beauty of our house. My parents told her of how good I am at making decorations. She had to call me to help her do the decorations in her house.
Why am I saying this? I just want you to know the secret behind my beautiful decorations is the Christmas season. I'm always happy Whenever we're close to Christmas. I don't know how the Christmas special feelings leave people. But as for me, the joy is always there.

A beautiful thing about Christmas is its color. Christmas is known for green and red color.
The Christmas tree is green.
Santa's cloth is made with Red and white,
The combination of the two colors (Red and Green) makes the season perfect. All over the world, the Christmas season is always colorful.
Right from December 1st, I've been seeing the decorations in schools, malls, and other public places. Even the colors alone, without Christmas songs and others, will tell you that Christmas is coming.
**The Christmas lights**
Christmas lights are always attractive. They make the beauty of a place show. Though the lights are being used even in non-Christmas periods and it beautifies the place. But during Christmas, it is always rampant, which makes it special.
The beauty shows in the afternoon, but at night the beauty Glows more. Every mall, house, companies will be shining bright with Christmas light.

Another beautiful thing about Christmas is the wonderful songs.

The songs aren't just ordinary songs, they are songs that will fill your heart. If you have something bothering you in your mind, the songs will wipe it away.
**The knockouts and fireworks 🎆🎇**
I wasted a lot of money on fire trackers. Back then we would gather at night to fire knockouts. Buy bangers and knockouts with our pocket money. Though the police were against us using bangers, still we fire them every year.
My parents tried to stop me from firing knockouts. Then I improvised and make one myself. I made my own knockout with the head of a spark plug, matches, and nails. So far it sounded like bangers, then I'm satisfied.
I stopped wasting money on knockouts a long time ago. We've left that for the new generation. Even I no longer see children lighting knockouts. Probably because we their brothers/sisters aren't engaging in it again or because of the police.
**How this year's Christmas will be**
So this year I would be making the decorations too as usual. If not for that I'm in school, I would have done it already. Next week, I'll be home to make this year's Christmas colorful.
May God keep us alive till then. Like I always say, my birthday is on the 22nd and Christmas is 25th. So I take Christmases as a celebration of Christ and also a celebration of my birth.

Getting my first shot of COVID-19 Vaccine

After a long period of writing exams, I finally finished the last paper for the session yesterday. The exams could have been written and completed in a week, but they intentionally separated the papers.
Though it was helpful, to be honest. There was at least two days gap between two exams. Each time we had an exam, we had time to read and prepare for the next one.
I'll still be staying on campus for about two weeks. Just to rest and have fun. Will be attending my department's dinner party on the 14th, which is next week Tuesday. Also, my hostel's dinner party is on the 18th.
**Getting vaccinated**
So we were told that we won't be given accommodation next semester if we aren't vaccinated.
I've seen so many people getting vaccinated and complaining about the after reaction. A friend of mine got vaccinated about a month ago, he fell sick then. But he said it was after he took the second dose of the vaccine.
I didn't have it in mind to get vaccinated this year at all. But due to the rule placed by the University, I had to go get the vaccine.
Taking the vaccine is for everyone's benefit. It is to help us fight the deadly coronavirus. So there is no harm in taking it since it's to help everybody and to prevent the spread of the virus.
This morning I went to the University clinic (JAJA) to get my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. I ate before I went to avoid any breakdown after collecting the vaccine.
On getting to the health facility, I met over a hundred people sitting under the canopy and waiting for their turn to collect the vaccine. I wanted to turn back and go home to come back another day. But I saw someone I know there, he told me the process was fast that It won't be long before it get to my turn.
I wrote my name down in the order of the attendance list. I was the 135th person on the list.
Truly the process was fast, the health workers in charge were fast. They knew there was a crowd before them, so they had to rush things.
While the queue was still long, I was not afraid of getting injected with the vaccine. But after it was almost my turn, I began to fear. Especially after seeing so many people's reactions after taking the vaccine. Some were strong, they didn't feel any pain, all they did was just to rub the injected spot, and that's all. But some people's reactions will get you scared. With their facial reaction, you'll obviously know something is wrong with them.
Finally, It got to my turn. They called my name. I went out as a strong man that I am to get the vaccine. One part of me was still scared. And that was because of my vaccine experience as a child. You know the vaccine given to children on their arm. I remember running away from it because I have injection phobia. Back then I ran to hide, but I was later forced.
So I went out to collect the vaccine. I felt something touching my arm, within 2 seconds, it was gone. What? Is that all? Is this the vaccine people complain about?. I felt no pain at all. Even I couldn't locate the spot of the injection.
On my way back to the hostel, I started feeling some pain in my arm. I couldn't lift my left arm like I lift my right. It was then I realized what people say. My left arm was heavy.

Immediately I got to the hostel, I took the remaining food I cooked in the morning, ate it till I was filled. "Even if I would fall sick after taking the vaccine, at least I would have enough food in my body" that was my reason for eating much food.
So here I am, praying nothing happens to me after getting this vaccine. But so far, I'm healthy and feeling good.

If you haven't taken the vaccine, I urge you to go get vaccinated. Getting the Vaccine doesn't mean one can not get infected with the virus, but it will make your immune system ready to fight it whenever it shows.
I'll be going for the second shot in two months time. That will be February next year.

They've turned kindness into being stupid. Just because to do them a favor, they will turn the favor to their right and won't appreciate you.
They make it difficult for one to help people nowadays. Would one say they are ungrateful? Or say they are overdoing things
This article is based on a true story of how I did someone a favor, and I got something else in return.

I used to be a systematic guy. What I mean by systematic is that I'm always cautious with everything I do.
So, there was this guy that came one day and told me to borrow him my perfume that he has a special place to go and he needed to smell nice. He lives on the first floor, while I stay on the last floor.
Firstly, I thought of it as if it was right for someone to come all the way from his room to borrow perfume. But as a good fellow what am I supposed to do? I gave him the perfume, which he used all over his body, and returned it to me.
The following day, he came again to ask for the same thing. I gave him again since he already knew I had. If this guy sprays perfume, he would spray it on all parts of his body including his hair, fingers, and foot.
That was how it became a normal routine for him. Whenever he's going out he'd come and ask for perfume. Even I myself, the owner, I don't use it every single day. This guy used the perfume till its last drop.
Meanwhile, when I realized the perfume has almost finished, I gave it to him to hold it and stop coming to disturb me, since he is the main user of the perfume.
I bought a new perfume and decided not to share it with anyone this time around. The first day I used the new perfume, this guy perceived the smell from my body. He came to me and asked for perfume, I was shocked " how would you still have the guts to come and ask for perfume after using up the first one"
"I can't share this new perfume with you," I told him. He walked away, it was clearly shown in his face that he was angry.
Ever since I refused to give him the new perfume, the guy has been showing me attitude. If he sees me, he won't even say hi. Even if I say hi to him, he won't reply. I was now asking myself where I was wrong. I couldn't hold it to myself, I asked my friend if I was wrong with what I did. Then he gave me the word "***Do someone a favor, and then it becomes your job"***
There are lot of ungrateful hearts out there. They would make one feel indepted to to them. When I'm not owing you anything, why do you bring all your problems to me. It is still fine if I can help, but because I couldn't help you for a day you changed to me. Who does that?
That's when I realized humans think differently. Same way, we have shame differently. What that guy did is what I can never do in my life. Inconveniencing someone of his/her property is what I hate. If I know the owner something is for individual use only, even if I'm going to borrow from such a person, it won't be more than once.
But that is life for you, everyone can never be the same. You need to learn not to be too vulnerable. Because they don't care if you are helping them or not, they will misuse the opportunity given to them.

With the time I've spent in this world, life has thought me a lot of lessons.
Man, as I will be using throughout this article is representing both males and females.

**Do not put your trust in a man**
This is not new to us that humans can't be trusted. Trust me, Trust me is all they would say, and in the end, they will still disappoint you.
Do not put all your hope in a man's promise.
**The "I promise to love you till the end of the world"**
Before marriage, they would promise you the world. I would never leave you, I would always take care of you and other sweet words. After marriage, once they've achieved their aim, they'll forget all their promises. They'll start maltreating their partner.
As we have fake love promises, we also have those that promised true love and they never failed. These people are rare nowadays.
All we have to do is to pray to God for true love. Because the world is full of liars and untrue love.
**The "I promise not to tell anyone".**
Tell them a secret, they'll promise not to tell anyone. They've turned it to a normal rhyme Tell a secret-i won't tell anyone. Whereas they won't just tell one person, hundreds of people will hear of your secret.
It is difficult to find someone who can hold secret. Except for family, once you find a true friend who can keep your secret, hold until the person and never let go.
**The audio promises**
They would promise to buy or give you something. My brother/sister don't put all your hope into it. Have a mindset that it is going to be 50/50. Either they disappoint or not you won't feel pained
Some of them make the promises publicly so the world would know, but in the end, they would fail. Life has thought me not to depend on man's promises all the time. If you do put all hope in them, and set aside all alternatives, you would end up being heartbroken.
**Life has thought me to be Silent in some arguments**
There's no point arguing with someone who is not ready to learn. They argue blindly without giving points to prove their argument.
Keeping mute in an argument means a lot. Though the other person will feel he/she won, deep down in them, they will feel pained. It's tested and trusted.
Like I said ***in some arguments.*** There are some arguments that you need to justify yourself and make the person know you understand what you are saying. But most times silence is the best answer.
**Life has thought me to keep moving and never give up**
Life has thought me not to ever give up something that still has the prospect of coming true. When you are chasing something and different challenges are coming your way. Normally we are humans, we would get tired, but giving up is not the solution.
There is time for everything, it might be that time you gave up the thing that was supposed to favor you. Life has thought me to always continue the race and never relent.
I'm sure everyone would have learnt some life lessons before now.

Happy Sunday to you all. It's the first Sunday in December. Here is the word for today.
**Trust**
Trust is the belief in the truth and ability of someone or something. *(English dictionary)*
The word trust is a common word that has been abused nowadays. Whenever you want someone to do something for you, you'll say trust me, whereas you know you'll disappoint the person.
**Obedience**
Obedience simply means adhering to an order, request, or law.
As children, we do sing this song in school and in the children's choir in church.
`Obedience is the very best way, to show that you believe.`
`Doing exactly what the Lord commands, doing it happily.`
`Action is the key, do it immediately.`
`Joy you will receive.`
`Obedience is the very best way to show that you believe.`
The song has a great message in it. We sing it just for fun in school then. Especially when it gets to the place where we'll spell the letters of OBEDIENCE.
O... B... *(Obi!)* E... D...*(Idi!)* I..E..N..C..E
Little did we know that the song is more than what it is. The song is a song for everybody, both young and old.
**My dad once told me a story about trusting and obeying**
A son went into a higher institution. While he was going, his father gave him $10 to spend in school and a Bible. The father said, **"Son make sure you read your Bible"**. Ok sir "the son replied".
On getting to school, the boy took the bible given to him and kept it in his wardrobe. After a week of resumption, he finished the $10 given to him by his father.
He called his father to ask for another money. (On phone..)
****Son:**** Dad I need some money, the one you gave me was too small, I finished it in just six days.
****Father:**** Son have you read your Bible.
****Son:**** Yes sir! I've read it (lying)
****Father:**** Son read your Bible
The son was confused and said angrily...
****Son:**** I asked you for money, you are telling me to read my Bible
****Father:**** Son read your Bible.
The father hung up the call. The son got very annoyed, he went to his bag, took the bible, and threw it under the bed. (I asked him for money he told me to read the bible. Will the bible send money to me? *The son soliloquized*).
He starved for another three (3) days. He couldn't bear it again. He called his father for the second time.
*Phone ringing...*
****Father:**** Hello Son
****Son:**** Hello Dad. I'm starving to death here in school. I need money to eat and buy some things.
****Father:**** Son, have you read your Bible?
****Son:**** Yes sir!
****Father:**** You haven't read your Bible. Read your Bible.
****Son:**** *(getting angry).* Why are you doing this to me dad? I need money to eat, you...
The father hung up the call.
The son began to cry. He cried till he slept off. He woke up in the evening and then thought why his father always insisted on him reading his bible. He went under his bed and brought out his bible.
Behold as he opened the bible, he met an envelope in it. In the envelope, there was a cheque of $200. The son was very happy and thought of how he has starved because he didn't obey his dad's instruction.
He called his father again. (Phone rings)
****Father:**** Hello Son
****Son:**** Hello Dad, I've read my Bible.
****Father:**** Laughing ( at last)
****Son******:** Thank you very much sir.
****Father******:** All these while you've been lying to me that you read your Bible. If you had read it on the first day you got to school, you would have seen the cheque. If you had trusted and obeyed me, you wouldn't have starved. Now you've learned your lesson, make sure you read your Bible always.
****Son******:** Yes sir! I promise to always read my Bible.

When we trust and obey the lord, we would enjoy the benefits as his children.

When we Trust and Obey God's word, he would shed his glory upon us
Trust and Faith
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, evidence of things unseen. (Hebrews: 11 vs 1)
Trust and Faith are similar words. When we have faith in God and believe he'll do things for us, we will surely be answered.

Heartbreak articles are better in English

I had two consecutive heartbreaks yesterday and this morning.
This is me pouring out my mind. Heartbreak doesn't necessarily mean having a relationship disappointment. Having intense stress due to the loss of something or somebody is the right definition.
First, I had an exam yesterday. The exam went well, the questions were not bad. Things were going well not until the exam supervisor caught three people practicing examination malpractice.
The Three of them were sitting in the hall in a triangular way, one at the middle, one at the left-back, and the last one at the right-back. Two of them brought in cellphones into the examination hall while the last one wrote the answers to some questions down in a paper.
That is none of my concern I said, not until the supervisor thought out of the bracket and said `" ohh, you all planned this together right? Nice one, that was why you arranged yourself in a triangular way so that the answers will circulate well".`
Truly if you were to judge the situation immediately, you would also say the same. It was as if they planned it to implicate us all. Surprisingly the three of them never knew each other.
The supervisor brought out the three students first, tore their answer scripts, wrote their names and matric numbers down and said, they will face SDC. And in my school, if you should face SDC in the case of examination malpractice, you are gone forever. You will be rusticated from the university without any further appeal.
He sent them out of the hall, they pleaded, but all was for nothing. Then the male supervisor came back on us and said, `" I know you all planned this thing together, as you can see, they are scapegoats. I need more of you, in fact, I will deduct twenty (20) marks from your marks, all of you"`
"Ahhhh, we all shouted. Twenty marks out of sixty (60). What will one have left if you deduct 20 marks"
At first, we thought it was a joke, then the man wrote something down in his book like he always does. What he wrote in the book was nothing else than a report that our marks should be deducted because some set of people cheated.
What the hell! The man wrote it down for real. The second supervisor who is a female pleaded on our behalf and told him not all of us were cheating. But it seems he's more superior than her in the supervision. He didn't listen, but the woman assured us that he would change his mind.
That was the first heartbreak 💔
Now, waking up this morning, I had the second heartbreak. After a long night of trying to take the examination palava out of my mind by watching Money Heist, the biggest movie series in spain. The series had finally come to an end, after 4 years. I've been watching the series since 2017. I love the way they ended it, though it seems they rushed things. I really wish there is a season six (6).
Back to the heartbreak 💔. I woke up this morning only to find my assets in deep shit. The crypto market has fallen.
All my Bitcoin and BCH have decreased by a huge percentage. Why is this happening at this point in time, when I already had plans to make this December dirty.

I need to relax and be taken kiaruf (care of). This is too much for me. Heartbreak s back to back to back.
What is the cause of the huge fall?
What is the probable price in one week time?
