The Eternals

Eternals according to the dictionary, eternal means something or somebody that lasts forever i.e an everlasting and unending thing/body.

The MARVEL MOVIES lovers would be familiar with this topic. In case you don't know, the MCU is releasing another superhero movie on November 5th titled The Eternals. The G.O.T lovers will also like this movie because The Eternals consist of two casts from Game of Thrones, the great John snow (Dane Whitman and Robb Stark(Richard Madden).

In The Eternals, Robb stark played the role of a superhero with the name Ikaris, he is gifted with a laser that comes out of his eyes like vision. While John snow on the other hand played the role of Sersi's boyfriend. Sersi is one of the powerful Eternals.

In the preview of the movie, they said the Eternals are a group of ancient, immortal beings sent to earth centuries ago to protect humankind The recent destruction of the earth by Thanos forced them out of their shadows. They came back after hundreds of years they've been in existence. This shows that they have eternal life (though it is fiction)

What are the Everlasting things?

Nothing! Nothing!! Nothing!!!

Nothing lasts forever except God. Nothing in this world is unending, no matter how expensive, famous or beautiful the thing is.

Is it money?

Money is just a material thing. It doesn't last forever. It is made with paper and can decay because paper is a wood product. Where are the rich people of yesterday? They are dead. Did they take the money along with them? If you receive a thousand dollars today, it will definitely finish. Money doesn't last forever.

Is it a house?

Houses collapse. Recently a 21 storey building collapsed in Ikoyi Lagos Nigeria. Though that might be the fault of the engineers that build the house, it still didn't last long. The biggest building in the whole world won't last forever, one day all will be gone.

Is it Jewelries?

No matter how expensive or beautiful a piece of jewelry is, it will later become a fad. Be it Gold, diamond, Sapphire, and so on, all will fade away one day. They are all things of this world. And nothing in this world can last forever even humans.

Is it human?

Humans don't last forever. The oldest man on earth was recorded in the bible in Genesis (5:27) Methuselah was the longest-lived human with 969 years of age. Now tell me, after all the years he used on earth, did he last forever? did he not die? Yes, he did, which shows that not even a human being can last forever.

Besides all these aforementioned things has a common factor that affects it's long-lasting. What is the factor?

The second coming of Jesus. Once he comes, no man will be able to take anything along, clothes, jewelry, money, houses, cars, and so on. Therefore it proves that God is the eternal God. It is then we can now live an eternal life. Where there is no death, then we will become The Eternals.
