Wondering if the read.cash dev is focused more on mainnet.cash now since we really haven't had any major updates to this site in some time. Hoping this isn't another yous.org or honest.cash situation.

I wish to understand this but I really have no idea of those websites you mentioned, but yeah, hopefully if he gets the chance, he can do an update.. 😊 but let's give him time. He's surely doing his best for us.. 😊

I'm not trying to pick on him. Hoping he responds. Just been through this before two other times so I can see the same signs.

These are similar sites to read.cash, but now they are abandoned.

I see that's sad, I hope it wont happen to read cash. I emailed read cash about some concerns, still assisting me well. I know it's not assurance but seeing how they/he assist concerns promptly, I think he is still there and not planning to abandon the site yet.

Why are these sites abandoned?

I doubt it is the case here if I see the fund although I understood not more money would be accepted from Marc de Mesel. Since this was the case this most likely means it is accepted with changes.

These websites have been abandoned because people who gave tips have left the websites.

So these sites mainly worked with tips no fund? I doubt if that is a problem. Unless it was for the one who started it and didn't make an income out of it. It's a lot of work.

These sites never had funds. Yours.org was the first page. It worked well without funds until the split in 2018. After the split the operator chose BSV and not BCH and most users left the site. Then honest.cash tried to fill the gap, but it never really worked well. Then came read.cash. This site is the best.

This site has attracted much more attention than the others, so it has also attracted a lot of spammers, cheats and trolls. This is inevitable.

That is clear to me. The spam is increasing at the moment. I am happy with the new option given in notifications although it's not always helpful if you can not read the message first and the option is nowhere else given.

I just wonder too. The last update we received was just about the fund increase and daily payment doubled. It wasn't even announced as in an article but just a temporary notice like that
