State Terrorism is a widely acknowledge gap within the broader security and terrorism fields. Studying state terrorism is different due to the number of factors, including the historical practices of a certain state to exclude their actions from the definition of terrorism. Western State terrorism is a good example of this. Western state peractices tortures, rendition and targeted killings of people, which had been prominent in the counter-terrorism practices of many different states. States may practice unethical doings but it is not enough to say that it was terrorism. Because it may somehow be part of their culture and life. Terrorism and state terrorism had been connected to political gains of higher people on positions and some officials. State terrorism somehow been a proof of using the fear of the people for political gains and it has been the most effective way of making people to conform to a certain rule, law or state.
