You should try, Korn, Rage Against The Machine, Breaking Benjamin, Deftones, Tool, Seether, and Pantera. Those are Nu Metal, Thrash Metal, and Alternative Metal. It's not that heavy to listen.

For me I really love Rock Music since I was a child. When I grow older, I learned to love Metal. If you are a fan of these genres yet, you can start with slow rock, acoustic rock or alternative metal. I hope you'll like it. Enjoy listening!
