As a british guy married to a Filipino guy who moved to the UK to be with me, we do look forward to when this pandemic ends so we can see our Filipino friends once more. Me and my partner sold everything we owned to get his initial visa. Both of us had a wedding at the British Embassy on a shoestring.
Filipino friends chipped in to surprise us with transport, and bought us a KFC at a highway services on the way back to Mabalacat City from Manila. Happily married, marriage has gotten stronger by the day being stuck with each other in the house and for a while at the same work place. Our 2nd anniversary is next month, the time really does fly.
Love you all from the UK <3
