My 20 Rules For Investing 💸:
- Buy low, sell high.
- Focus on fundamentals, not hype.
- Don't invest in everything, do not spread yourself too thin.
- Invest locally where possible.
- Utilize compounding interest where possible.
- Only trade with money you have.
- Dollar-cost average in with every paycheck.
- Keep up with your investments & regular check-in on them.
- Invest for the long-term.
- Research before buying, know what you’re investing in.
- Do not day trade. Most will fail.
- Do not panic sell or panic buy.
- Do not trade based on emotion, EVER.
- Diversify your investments, do not invest everything in just one asset.
- Do not follow what everyone else is doing.
- Avoid liabilities, acquire assets.
- Do not blindly trust actual/perceived authorities.
- Understand bull markets & bear markets.
- You are not a genius & you cannot predict the future.
- Take advantage of good arbitrage & avoid bad arbitrage.

right.. invest at your own risk and don't get jealous to other people investing more than you do. focus on your goal and learn what you need to learn.. And this is for all types of investment... I think this also applies in investing your feelings haha

Advice or not, they are sound rules to follow. I have known some people who failed at number 6. That's why when the market gets crazy, they also fail at number 12.
Good rules to follow. I don't know if you know this buy Warren Buffer swears by Rule #2. I bookmarked this checklist for future reference. My sons are trying to invest. This would be good for me and for them.
