Important: Exodus wallet announced, that he will probably not support the new BCHA coin.

If there will be a fork, I will write a new tutorial. It is important that you know your private key for your BCH. This is the key and to claim the new coin if there should be one.

People like me who will keep it in wallet with private key will need your guidance at every step of this fork.

Most announced that. They all say they remain with the old, original chain. We'll see what future brings and if read.cash keeps the option to let pay out in different currency.

I suspect that the fork will not take place at all.

I admit that I'm a little lost, I sent all my BCH on Exodus in the meantime, following your first article on the subject. I even invested the little money I had left, for a possible capital gain on the Fork. So, I will follow with attention what's going to happen, and your possible tutorial, if there is a fork. Thanks for everything! :0)

I wish you an excellent Weekend!

Ps: I will follow the Coin Dance too! (Another potential track title!).

Do you have a desktop PC? If there is a new coin, I will write an article on how to claim it, even if Exodus should not support the new coin at the beginning. It is important that you have a PC, as it may not be possible with a smartphone.

What makes you think that? I can't say I would be sad if not.

Nobody announces to mine ABC. https://cash.coin.dance/blocks If no miner mines the ABC chain, there will be no fork.

It all depends on the community, really. Here's my interpretation based on the following on why Bitcoin ABC's IFP will never come to pass:

  1. Many of the large pools also handle exchanges.
  2. Many of said pools are Pay-per-last-N-shares (PPLNS) in types of payments, which meant that in BCH, 6.25 BCH gets separated towards all miners in the pool, also taking a share as their own fees.
  3. With 0.5 BCH not heading towards the miners, the remaining 6.2+(Transaction Fees) BCH is forced to share around all the miners, who actually expected a more stable block creation because of ASERT and is therefore unprofitable for those that allow merge-mining with other SHA256 coins. Those miners who prefer Bitcoin Cash gets discouraged if they notice this (There's a mining pool fee, then the share of BCH is approximate to their hashes, then 8% of those that is supposed to be yours will be redirected to ABC), therefore decreasing miners.
  4. Exchanges are also very picky on every Coin and Token they want to exchange with, and profitability can be taken from the community support and the price in Futures, in which BCH-ABC flopped in.

Essentially, if there was a BCHABC with IFP, it'd be a coin without exchange and wallet support, therefore decreasing chances of getting money from it.
