Rain

Rain are water droplets from the sky..We are living in a tropical region where rain is common.The Philippines has to climate seasons;the dry season,and the wet season making the region very good for agriculture.

Rain.Without it how would human life survive?How would other living creatures survive?What do you think would happen if rain is not part of the elemets(water)?If it would just rain whole year round,how would a place be?

Rain..It is very essential in human living,it is one source of life of all living creatures..You would probably ask,how about the cactus and other dessert plants live?Well,I guess we all know that dessert plants were designed to live in a place w/ no rain at all.

Rain contibutes a lot in our environment's economy from agriculture to industry to hygiene to electical energy..Without rain plants wont grow;our lakes,rivers and streams even ponds for our animals in the pasture areas would dry up(pls read my articles on natures you'll see a lot of rainforest,streams,falls w/c make our place the source of potable water supply even supplies nearby town);the air won't be cleared,as I can remember there was this time of year after the planting season and no rain for months that the mountain sides begun to turn brown,very dry air that causes cough and colds,small streams that used to be the source of irrigation begun to dry up not until villagers go up the mountain to call for the rain .So it makes the region really very dependent to rainfall.It also clears ones thoughts,and weary soul.

While rain has many beneficial effects,it has also its downside..

A rainfall,not just a rainfall but a heavy one would cause flashfloods wherein a small stream would suddenly become like sea with its strong current that would carry away someone crossing a stream or river be carried by the water.It also causes landslides.This is the main problem in our area that is mountainous,often times roadslides are the cause of trouble.Floods also is the main problem in cities particularly those with poor drainage system.If it helps in the growth of plants and other creatures,it also causes destruction to it.Too much or heavy rainfall destroys growing plants too,lowland farms' crops can be flooded.
