Do you believe in love at first sight? Or love without seeing someone physically? The internet has pitched us into a new era of romance that plays different rules.

Do you know anyone who is/was in a relationship from someone he/she met online? Or are you one?😅

How did it went?

He was a strapping 28-year-old with a mane of brown hair, she a dazzling redhead in a white strapless vest and a tight trousers. Londoner Garth Fairlight and Californian Pituca Chang first met watching fireworks and eating burgers at a party in 2003.It wasn't quite love at first sight, but after protesting against high taxes together, the chemistry became obvious. Two months later she moved in, and by November of the same year they were married.

If the idea of cyber-romance doesn't turn you on, perhaps you should take a closer look. Garth and Pituca insist the feelings they have for each other are genuine and that they were madly in love long before they met face to face. "The love part happened in the game.l," says Pituca. *names used were screen names only..

While love in virtual worlds may still be unusual, online relationships have become commonplace. Even on the 20th century where internet was a luxury, texting was the in. Mobile phones used were the models which newer models became smaller until android phones evolved.

I'm a batang '90's that's why I knew how one got to get a textmate. One would let his/her # be broadcast on radio channels specifically those programs exclusive for those kind of thing. Let his/her number be written on those published forums on tabloids. Or one's number was given to someone by his/her friend. Whatever how one got to know ones number was sometimes the case that would eventually lead to being textmates until the two would meet and decide to continue any relationship between them or end it up.

Today's internet age has made it more possible for electric love. Single internet users have taken part in at least one online dating-related activity, including sites specifically devoted to finding match. Some has been on long-term relationship to someone they met online.

The internet has clear advantages over the real world as a place to meet people.

Moreover, you can meet people far more people online that you could ever hope to in a bar or at work. And because online games and chat rooms are often themed, they allow users to home on people with shared interests.

One can notice the interaction online is more conducive to openness than communicating face -to-face rendezvous. People tend to interact differently online."We tend to be more honest and more intimate," says Ren Reynolds.

Take read.cash for example, communicating by typing gives users time to construct their reply to a certain comment.. Like in the internet dating sites or simply on messenger, it frees them from worrying about how they look and sound so they can focus exclusively on what they're saying. Not unless when they do video chat.

Online communication, encourages people to take risks, because there is always the opportunity to disappear if things become embarrassing or awkward. And it's easy to lie online, it turns out it's more easier to tell the truth.

Without typical visual cues such as appearance and mannerisms, people in an online dating sites is confident enough and can build positive impression of each other. Did you noticed that just a simple online communication can bring out more personal details? That's what also happen between people who met on online dating sites. Experts believed that it's because people are shielded from disapproving facial expressions and awkward consequences.

When online couples meet causes the possible spark when online might be strong enough to survive even when the relationship moves offline.

However, it also has a flip side. Though it brings greater intimacy and self-disclosure,it can also result in dashed hopes. One have less information that's why individuals involved fill in the gaps with what they would like to believe.

The internet thus, pitched us into a new era of romance that offers greater opportunities for one to meet the right partner. It also had caused others to be scammed of their feelings from others they expected much or have believed much into. That the other was a fake or just someone who's just playing around others feelings, making someone believe to his/her too-good to be true intention. For some, it's best to enjoy cyber-romance for what it is. But whether it's love or not, it's certainly a life changing journey.

Do you believe in love at first sight? Or love with the abscence of physical presence in the first place?

"Ang ganda mo sa picture sa personal hinde"🤣. This is a viral song of our kids and i heard it on their phones also. This was based in social medias. Specially facebook. Where in the users' profile shows faces of celebrities but in the actual they look ordinary and even worst. 😁

I believe in love at first sight. Obviously puberty is related to this stuff. I have read about these stuffs recently. Many of us including think love should not be about physical appearance, nit about the nature and heart of the person. But you also have to know it's flow of hormoe actually. And also have to get that in a centain time of menstrual cycle, a girls becomes very attractive. So if the girl is on that stage and boy is also having puberty, and somehow the oxy and veso hormon level is high, love at first sight can happen. And it lasts long also. Not from the movie experience but I am telling this scientifically. And about electric love. It can occur too. When you are talking with someone, your unconscious mind imagine the character and a face too based on your concept on that person. You can fall in love with that person too
