A Successful Frog

Some frogs are hopping joyfully on their way up in the jungle when suddenly two of them fell into a deep pit..Their companions stopped and gather around to see how they may help the two out.. After analizing and seeing how deep it was they thought it was impossible for the two to be able to get out of it.So they told the two frogs to just accept the worst thing to happen.

Unwilling to accept the terrible fate that's awaiting them,the two frogs begun to jump in hope that they will make it through. Some of the frogs shouted that their effort is useless and it waz their fault to be in that situation, only if they had been more cautious of their action. Some sadly said that they're just wasting their time and energy and that they should save it and wait for their time.

They grew weary after jumping for some time with all their might. When finally one of the frogs gave up, the call from the other frogs above the pit added to his hopelessnes.Due to exhaustion and low morale, he accepted his terrible fate, laid on the pit floor and died.

The other frog was already in pain after unsuccessful attempts,exhaustion is taking over him but still he continued to jump. His companions up above once again shouting discouragement to stop his worthless endeavor and die. But to their surprise,the frog below continued to jump and jump,this time he jumped higher and higher and miraculously reached the top and out off the pit.

The other frogs gathered around him with amazement and asked why he continued when it was really hopeless to do so.

Astounded, the frog told them that he is deaf. He perceived their shouted discouragement were cheers and encouragement for him to try harder..

This was a fable read to us by our Kindergarten teacher..While fable catches a childs attention because of its animal characters. It is also a way for him to easily understand the lesson you want to relay..
