I have seen the pictures that you uploaded and that certainly proves that there is a mother with a child with the condition you mention in your articles. It also proves that you are in contact with the mother and her son, but not necessarily that she is the person writing here.

I am surprised that socialist Venezuela won't carry out an emergency operation and wants almost $2000, otherwise the child will die? $2000 is a lot when you make $2.70 per month. I can see that. I do live in Germany. The living costs are much higher here. You get about two scoups of ice-cream for $2.70. My rent is about $400 per month for one room in a small flat that I have to share with two other adults in order to keep the costs low.

In the city where I live $400 rent per month for one room including water, electricity, heating, internet is considered cheap. There are much nicer areas and much nicer houses to live in.

Admittedly, there are cheaper cities to live in, but there are also others that are far more expensive.

That's why I had such a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that someone earns $2.70 in one month.

The socialist is trash, I hope you never live in a country with socialism, look now we are in quarantine and I have no obligation to go to my job but even when the quarantine is over I can not go because my weekly salary is 675,000 Bolivars about $0.60 and the public transport ticket to my job is 400,000 Bolivars, then I must take another bus that costs 200,000 Bolivars in total to go to my job costs 600. I need a total of 1.200.000 Bolivars per day to go to my job but I only earn 675.000 Bolivars per week.
