The power of Suob

Have you ever has suob before?

Suob had became even mor famous whne the pandemic hit, even thr doctors in Cebu city encourages the people to do it.

But does it really work?

I did a lot of suob (steam inhalantion) in the past and I will be doing it in the future. I also recommend it to people when they get sick especially whe. They skip meals or hot over worked and stressed and git spasms or panuhot.

Yesterday, I wrote ana rticle about my daughter getting sick because of skipping meals. She was weak when I arrived and her temperature got high again. I was really worried and my husband assured me that we weill do. Suob to her when he gets back.

He was trapped on a friend's house by rain. Heavy downpour resulted to floodings and he had no raincoat with him brought.

So after dinner, my husband boiled a scorched rice, cookies, ice and coke on a pot, he brought it to boil and I covered it and my daughter with thick blankets.

I adviced my daughter to open thr lid slowy so she will not get hurt. It's not her first time doing it. After 20 minutes or so, she got out wet of her own sweat and i let her drank her last shot of 10mL paracetamol.

My husband went for work and left me with the kids at home. Last night, I woke up at 1 am and checked on her. thanks God, her temperature is normal and when she woke up this morning, she was feeling very well.

Suob, along with other herbal and conventional medication are once used by our ancestors. They had little to no access to hospitals and such way back and they lived a long life, and free form sickness or they might get well fast because of it. Right now, technology had fast approached and made the people believe that all sickness can only be healed by medication, lazers, and such.

What about you, I want to know whether you believe in traditional method of medication too or you only rely on doctors?
