Whenever therre are power interruptions, what laternative lights do you use?

Candlesticks, solar powered lights? Alcohol lamps? Oil lamps? Flashlights?

The above-mentioned are food at providing great lights but it could run out of battery and fuel.

remember this :

If you ever need light but run out of battery or fuel, fo to your kitchen, get some mason jar or some heat- resistant glass, fill half with salt and oil on the other half. Get a cotton, wrap it around the stick and stick it inside the jar making sure the oil could have a way to the end and light it.

Ours were on an old ash tray that our neighbor threw. We decided to recycle it and now, every time there will be power. Interruptions, this is our go to lamp.

I found about this after some. Parts of Bohol and Cebu ahd power interruptions way back last year and also looked at videos on YouTube.

It is fast and easy to do and gives a new use for excess oils too.

Have you ever done rhis before?

Oy,it's past midnight na pala, and I'm very sleepy na. Goodnight people!
