Election means Money

Election means Money: Do you believe it? Have you had proof? But....

Hey, it’s not what you think that I am on for vote buying or whatever that is on elections. What I meant is that during elections, politicians needs more manpower that they usually does through their career, right? These times, they hire anybody who has the that they think that support them. Some may use the people’s time and strength for free but I hope such actions of the people were 100% voluntary and out of the will to have a better people to manage the place.

But there are skills that are needed in during the campaign period, they may be the skill of the computer programmers, DJs, entertainers, and hosts. Let’s take note that such talents should not go for free, they may not be really paid as much as celebrities having concerts, but could sustain a living especially now that many has been displaced because of pandemic.

Because of the rallies, politicians sustains the people who attend it by giving food packs and water. Those also made the caterers and stores to have little profit from the products and services thta they have offered.

Politicians looks forward to serve the people that is why they hire vehicles to transport thier goods and parafenalias to Aby events that the are going. But also the people too! Because there is always places that are far from the venue, and that they kind of need a lift to be able to attend rallies.

My husband has been appointed as one of the purok leaders in our local politicians; recently, he had been very busy going here and there attending rallies and meetings including orientations of the things that they would do. Each time, they have allowances, a reimbursement of the gas/fare and they were given snacks/meal after each event.

If I was not going to work everyday, I must have been also in the same place, I think.
