Second Chance at love, why not?
Hello beautiful and lovely friends! The weather outside is super hot like in the past few days. After our 10th year celebration on Tuesday that was extended yesterday, I choose to stay home for a moment. I missed our doggos and I am sure he missed us as well. Glad my brother in law and his girlfriend stayed at home so that someone could watch over them. Isn't it ironic that before, we take care of our dogs so that someone could watch our house when we go out, but now it is a whole lot different because you need to find someone to take care of your dogs if you wanted to leave your house.😅 Andwae! The world is changing perhaps?
Anyway, going back to our main title, do you happen to believe in second chances? Well if you asked me, my final answer would always be yes. I think we all deserve to be given a chance to change and prove our worth. It could probably in life, work, friendship and in relationship.
Yesterday while I was browsing my fb timeline, the post of my former schoolmate back in grade school caught my attention. She wasn't my classmate but we've known each other names. I think there were times that we had a simple conversations back then but we aren't really close. After many years, we became friends on fb, I can no longer recall who added first. She was a registered nurse already and had 4 kids. Before, I could see her posting some photo along with his partner then later on, most of her pictures were her and the kids. I don't know much about the story behind them since I rarely check my fb timeline for years. One of the reason I am not really updated with all the happenings in my friends list. I am truly happy for this schoolmate of mine because I could see the bright aura of the pictures she shared from her wedding. I then checked her profile to see some photos from the wedding and one of her shared videos entitled "our love story" uploaded by her friend caught my attention as well. After watching it, I can't stop but to put a big smile on my face. I don't want to elaborate the details, from the video itself, it was stated that the man she married now was her former boyfriend. Isn't it amazing how love moves in a mysterious way. According to the video their reunion started from a simple message and then the rest is history which lead them into marriage. The guy willingly accepted the girl wholeheartedly including her kids. True love really exist right? I mean if you are destined to be, love will always find its way back home. I am sincerely wishing them all the best in their marriage journey.
I told my husband about it, he then shared to me about the similar love story of his cousin. His cousin is now living in Australia with her husband but before they got together, she had a former husband and got 3 kids from the previous relationship. Unfortunately it didn't end well so they got separated. Then after years of being separated she found a new love once again who is now her husband who happened to be her ex boyfriend from the past. They got a baby girl and decided to be together forever. I actually met them back when they were still here in our country. I was surprised by my husband's revelation about it. I therefore conclude that it is possible for the old lovers to become lovers again base from these two love stories. And as they always says love is sweeter the second time around. Do you agree or not?
Ending Thoughts
I really thought that love story like this only exists in fictional stories. To be honest, I really like movies and novels which has the plot of breaking up with his/her partner then after years of not seeing each other, will accidently meets and then boom they realized they still haven't forgotten their love after so many years. After that they will eventually have their own happy ending. I am actually kilig in that kind of story, sounds cliche but it makes my heart happy. In the end, we could tell that if two persons are meant to be together, they will find a way back into each other arms no matter what.

Breakfast buffet at Brasserie on 3
Hello guys! We are already home now and tired. Exhausted but of course very much happy. Today let me share to you another food blog which I know most of you are getting tired of because I had been sharing food blog in my recent articles. Please bear with me again this time, for I am about to share another one.
Our one night stay at Conrad Manila included a breakfast buffet for two. That means only me and husband can avail it for free, while the kids will be charge at 50% of the actual price. Their breakfast buffet starts at 7 in the morning until 10. So in the next morning, we went at the Brasserei on 3, one of the hotel's restaurant to have our breakfast. The restaurant staff approach us courteously and lead us to our table. I personally choose to seat outside to see the beautiful view of Manila Bay.
After that, my husband leads us inside to see the food inside. He was very familiar with it because he used to work at Shangri La Makati before he worked as a waiter in a cruise ship. Like he usually does, he checked every food one by one so that I will be familiarize with the food most specially those that were new to my eyes. The first thing that caught my eyes was the cereal area. You can choose from different types of cereal and I guess kids will like it, however my two kids wasn't interested at all with it.
The next counter which is just right next to the cereal area was fresh fruits counter and fruit juices. My husband got a dragon fruit smoothie which I drank on later and I could say it was really good. He leads us next to the usual Pinoy breakfast which includes longanisa, fried danggit, and so on. Right there and then I knew what to have on my breakfast plate. My kids already decided what to have on their breakfast so I let them do it. My oldest is a little independent, while my youngest is a little shy l, so I got a plate for him and got all the foods he wanted then I give it to him after. They both went out to our table while me and my husband was still inside getting our own food. I followed the kids outside after getting mine.
I was actually enjoying the nice view from our table and the food as well. After I was done with my food, I got back inside again to check what else can I eat. I took some fresh fruits and I was satisfied because it was really sweet. I waited for a little while because my tummy feels a heavy but I still wanted to eat some breads. The breads inside looks really appetizing. When I feel like I could eat again, I finally able to get some bread which reminds me of the days that I was working in Frenchbaker. I got almond croissant, apple danish and cinnamon rolls. I love these breads to be honest, because it makes me feel like I am one of the French girls. Charot!😆
We waited for more minutes before the restaurant closes. I captured some pictures of the view outside and a family picture as well for remembrance. It was a nice experience although I am not satisfied with food selection considering the price per head is 1700 php or approxiamately $34 but what matters most is that we got to experience the good ambiance of the restaurant. We paid for the kids at 50% off and the charge was deducted on our deposit upon checking in.

Celebrating 10 years of marriage with a blast
Hurray for 10th year wedding anniversary for me and my husband. It was March 22, 2012 when we decided to get married via civil wedding at the QC City hall. I thought my husband was joking when he told me that we're going to marry in a week. He knows someone working in the city hall so he got a permit for us to get marry. The next day, we went to Binondo to buy our wedding ring. I could still remember that my late mother in law and my girl cousin was with us to look for the ring. We choose the one that has a simple design and at the same time could fit our budget. And then the next thing, I asked some of our relatives to witness our simple union. After the exchanging of vows, we finally signed our wedding contract. We then had a simple feast with few of the relatives and just like that the next morning, my husband left for work overseas. No more time for honeymoon because we already got two trophys that time😅
So that's how we got married instantly with a one week preparation. We are actually planning for a church wedding, unfortunately I got pregnant with my youngest and then that same year, our housing loan was approved. To cut the long story short, we settled with a civil wedding to make our living together legally, and that was fine with me. So yeah, today we are officially 10 years in marriage and that calls for a celebration right?
If you could remember, I mentioned about my friend booking us a one night stay at the hotel. She booked it in January and that time I was worried whether the kids could be with us. I remember being worried that kids might required to have antigen tests or being vaccinated. Fortunately though, this month our city is demoted to alert level 1 which means some restrictions were lifted up, and the other day, the hotel sent me a message that kids were no longer required to have antigen swab test anymore. Yay!
So this morning, I started packing the things that we'll be using for a one day stay at hotel. I finished the laundry from yesterday and waited for my brother in law because he will take care of the dogs while we are away. We need to check in by 3 in the afternoon, however, we left home late that is why we arrived at the hotel by 4 in the afternoon. We had a smooth conversation with the receptionist who accomodated us. To be honest guys, this is my very first time to check in a 5 star hotel, although before when my friend came to the Philippines she always invites me to be with her. This time around I wasn't with her, good thing my husband is with me. He is the one who talked to the staffs. They asked as for a 5000 deposit which refundable when we check out tomorrow. My friend already advised me that they might asked for a card so I thought my debit card or my husband's card will be accepted, but according to the receptionist, since our stay was already paid, they can only accept credit card or cash. We don't have a credit card though, good thing I have cash with me. After sometime, the hotel staff gave us the keycard and give us some basic instructions while inside their premises.
When we entered the room, I was so relief from my headache because of the hot weather and traffic while on the way. The room that is given to us was really nice just like as I expected from the website. They have twin bed perfectly for the four of us and a wide sofa that is near the window with a city view. I was just enjoying the perfect view when my husband suddenly asked me to come with him at the mall to buy some foods. By the way the name of the hotel is Conrad Manila and there's an easy access to Mall of Asia from their hotel. We roam around the MOA while the kids were at the hotel. We came back after a while, and the kids wanted to swim. We go down at the third floor and swim even though it was freezing cold. There were only few guests at the pool so we indeed have fun swimming even for a short time only and promised to come back in the morning before we check out.
After swimming, we go back at the mall and had our dinner. I wanted a simple dinner because tomorrow were gonna eat at the buffet restaurant of the hotel. Initially I wanted Japanese food but ended up eating at Shakeys. Burp! We got a lot of freebies from pizza parlor because of availing their supercard. This is my 3rd supercard already because the other 2 were expired.
It was already late, that is why we headed back to our hotel room and just before we go to bed, my husband and I toast for our 10 years of fooling each other, I mean loving and staying with each other for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until death do us part.
Happy 10th year anniversary my loves. My forever bae. Let's continue this 10 years until forever. I loveyou behbeh ko to the moon and back!

Why I don't want to drive yet?
Hello guys! How are you all today? It is Monday, and well it is another busy day. As for me, I started my day doing my youngest son performance task for one of his subject. After finishing it, the next task I did was to prepare our lunch and at the same time doing the laundry. I needed to do it because tomorrow we'll be out again to celebrate our 10th year anniversary. During lunch time, my son's adviser asked for the baptismal certificate of those Catholic students who will receive their first holy communion to be pass on at the school. And so I went to school to pass it and I let my husband fetch me after. I continued doing my laundry and at exactly 5 pm we went out again to meet the dentist. One of my front teeth needs some restoration and my husband is scheduled for cleaning. After Ate Bebe the dentist is done with restoring my teeth, she asked me then, why until now I haven't learned how to drive. I just looked at her and smile. She told me, that I needed it so that whenever my husband is away, it wouldn't be harder for us to go to places we wanted to. Again I refuse her comment and change the topic instead, until it was my husband's turn to seat at the dentist chair.
There's actually reasons, why I don't want to drive yet. Firstly is that I still don't have enough courage to be on the road. With all honesty, thinking of driving alone in a busy road like here in the city make me nervous already. We got our car back in 2016. It is an old model Toyota Corolla that we got for only 70k. A relative recommended it, and I guess it was a good deal because even though it is a 1995 model everything is working fine. We couldn't afford a brand new one because we are still paying our monthly house amortization. Aside from it is an old model, it is also a manual car. Driving a manual car is very much complicated than driving an automatic car. I don't know how to explain it technically but driving an automatic car is less hassle. Back in 2016, my husband used to teach me, eventually he gives up, telling me that if he has enough money, he will buy me an automatic car. Hahaha! Well, I can actually drive it, but then, I am a little forgetful that sometimes I forgot to change the gears every now and then.
My second reason is that I easily got distracted most specially when I am on the road. Anthony said that when driving you have to focus and attentive because accidents can happen in a seconds. I have seen a lot of road accidents for many years and I can't help but to feel sympathy for them. I might not know what to do if in case I am driving and then I see an accident in front of me. I might panic and maybe cause another collision. One thing that my husband is always telling me that whatever happened while you are on the road is to never panic. Andwae! Hahaha! So yeah I think I need to work harder on that in order for me to drive.
Last but not the least is that I am a sleepyhead person. Whenever I am on travel, I don't forget to take a nap or maybe because the cool breeze of aircon in front of me makes me sleepy. Before I can't sleep when my husband is driving because sometimes he drives so fast that I have to remind him everytime. But now, I can always sleep even though he is driving fast, like I don't care anymore. They said that being sleepy might cause accident while driving so I wish I could change this attitude as well.
My Ending Thoughts
I know the things I have mentioned above was just a mere alibis. I always believe if there's a will there's a way. In my case if there's a wheels, I should find my way to drive it. Hahaha! I know, I should have to gather enough courage, be able to stay focus on the road and lastly fight my sleepyness. If I would be able to overcome these three, then I am a step forward to drive along the road.

From North to West
Hello there once again beautiful humans and friends. Today is Sunday and I know most of my recent articles talked about our family's escapade, now please allow me to share another bonding moments with my in laws family.
Yesterday, it was already scheduled that we're going to have a family dinner because my brother in law is supposed to have his hotel quarantine this Sunday, before he can finally join his new ship assignment. He is also a seafarer just like my husband. The other night he forwarded a photo in our family's group chat stating that his dispatch is done. His other brother commented then, that we should eat at Gimmo short for Kapitan Gimmo a famous seafood resto near their place. Jojo, my brother in law who is leaving the country soon approved and schedule it on Saturday night.
My mind and body has already settled that we are going to leave late, so before lunch my hubby and I bonded over videoke at home. We were belting out and singing at the top of our voice without minding our neighborhood.😁 We stopped singing because we have to eat our lunch, have to resume after it though. I was having a good time singing my favorite songs from our karaoke set when my husband disturbed me by telling me that there was sudden change in our plan. Instead of eating at Gimmo, my brother in law Jojo decided to have our dinner at Trinoma. I was like okay, but let me first finished my piece. I continued my videoke until 3 pm, don't worry guys, my voice is still okay up until now, thanks to ginger tea. Hahaha!
By 4 oclock in the afternoon it started to rain and we let the rain subsided for a while before we travel to Trinoma. My kids are even wondering where Trinoma is because the last time we went there was back in 2019. I think they have forgotten about it, since we were always at SM Fairview which is the nearest mall from home. We arrived at around past 5 because of a little congestion on the road. It was Saturday and traffic was worst during that day because number coding is not implemented. It was expected that the mall is full of people since it was weekend. I asked everyone to go at the mini park at the mall rooftop to take some pictures before the darkness covered the sky. We took some pictures and started to look for the rest of the family. I asked hubby to have some snacks first because I am starving that time. I ate siomai, the kids had potato fries and hubby got his favorite empanada from Ilocos.
We started looking for the rest of the family and they told us that they went to SM already which is on the other side of the road. We looked for the exit and went to the other mall. The moment I stepped my feet inside the mall reminds me that this is the first mall I went to back when I was 16 years old. There has been many changes, but the memories will always stay. Anyway, there is a reason why my husband is eager to go at SM North. He needs to look for the Gshock center, because his old gshock watch needs battery replacement. However, after minutes of looking at the exact location of the shop, the staff told us that all battery replacement and other services were transferred to their Ortigas Branch.
Ah my feet were really tired after all the walking and all. SM North Edsa is such a big mall and lately I easily got tired, maybe I really need to be serious in getting fit. We finally meet the rest of the family and decided to go back at Trinoma to have our dinner. Eventually some of the restaurants that we used to dine in were closed and had been replaced. The kids were complaining about how hungry they are, same as my sister in law. In the end, my brother in law decided to eat at a Chinese Restaurant outside the mall.
We arrived at Hap Chan which is located in West Avenue QC past 8 in the evening, fortunately the restaurant is still open for diners. We just waited for a little while because the staffs needed to prepare the table for 10 persons. When everything was set, Jojo ordered our food, waited for about 15 minutes and it was served hot in front of us. Oops, before we dig in, somebody asked the staff to take a photo of us with the foods because the last time we ate there, we had family picture when all the foods were done. Chinese cuisine is really good and yet again my tummy was so full that night.
By the way, I forgot to mention that there was sudden change in my brother in law quarantine details. He was supposed to undergo a quarantine for 10 days in our country because the ship where he is assigned is in Singapore and we all know how strict SG when it comes to protocol measures.However, I think it was cancelled and will take 7 days quarantine in SG instead. So yeah, he'll be staying with us for a few more days.

Know your Worth and never settle for Less.
Hello! What's up lovely people. How have you been? I hope everyone is having a great time despite all the challenges we are facing. Whatever may happened always remember that all your effort will be worth it in the end. Talking about the word worth, what comes first into your mind everytime you hear it? As for me, it comes along with the word value. And as we all know the word value also have something to do with your importance. Now why am I asking these things. There's a latest gossip in our country today that involves a certain local couple celebrity. According to the news, the boy celebrity is now in jail for allegedly beating up and detaining his girlfriend. I actually saw the pictures of the girl after she was assaulted and I was like wtf! I always believe that violence is not a solution in every relationship. First and foremost when it comes to physical strength the boy will always have the advantage. And beating a girl is never acceptable, just imagine your mother and sister are girls too.
Upon learning this story on my fb timeline, it reminds me of the story I have heard on the radio last night while we were on our way home. According to the letter sender, his partner has been fooling her for a long time and what is worst was that her group of friends knows about it. Her friends by the way didn't even bother to tell her about it. And it was only confirmed when she confronted them. The disc jockey then tell her, that she is one of the kind. The best in her circle of friends however she needs to change them because she doesn't deserved friends like that. She should know her value and importance. I agree with the dj because no one deserves to be deceived while in a relationship. If you have a change of heart then be honest with your feelings. It is much better than continue fooling your partner and yourself.
Going back to the first story, I am glad that the boy is now arrested. I know there's always three sides of the story, his side, her side and the truth. I know in the end truth will always prevail but I hope the victim of assault will find her justice and to the perpetrator may he serve the right punishment for his actions.
To all the girls and boys out there, may we always know our worth. If you think something is wrong in your relationship don't hesitate to let go. Don't let your partner ever hurt you physically because if he/she truly loves you they will never hurt you. Although most of the times we heard stories that girls had been beatin up but I know this is applicable to guys as well.
Love is a beautiful thing that everyone should experience. But always keep in mind love and violence shall never exist in the same relationship. As well as being deceived or being fooled in a relationship should never happened. For goodness sake, your importance mattered. Always know your worth and never ever settle for for less because you always deserve the best.

Buffet dinner on a Friday night
Hello everyone! I have inactive for almost 6 to 7 hours. I wasn't able to read some article and interact because I was out again for another family bonding with my little family. Our usual bonding includes going out to the mall, play some arcades, do the grocery and last but definitely not the least eating.
Who else doesn't love food? Honestly I preferred to spend more on foods than material things. Tonight, we decided to eat at a Filipino Buffet Restaurant. It has been a long time since we've done it because kids weren't allowed to go inside to dine. But now, that everything is slowly going back in place, we took the opportunity to bring them and let them enjoyed the food being serve. By the way, the name of the restaurant is Cabalen, a Filipino buffet restaurant. When we say buffet, it is a meal consisting of several dishes that the guest or diner serve themselves. In layman terms, it is called eat all you can. You can eat everything as long as your stomach can take it in.
Some buffet restaurant is quite pricey but in Cabalen you'll only have to pay 398 pesos per head or approxiamately $8 per person and you can enjoy some Filipino dishes they serve unlimited. Some of the dishes that I dig in first was the pansit puti, pork caldereta and the kare kare with the yummiest bagoong. They also served laing, which is a little spicy that is why I wasn't able to finish it. They have dinuguan and a whole lot more. My tummy was so happy and if only I could eat all of it, however my stomach is so full.
Although I enjoyed it, I am quite sad because they only serve limited foods, what I mean is that they used to serve a lot of dishes before than today. They used to have halo halo for dessert. The chocolate fountain with some mallows and other treats which the kids love is missing too. Nevertheless, I am happy because my kids are no longer picky with the foods. They eat everything they want and I guess tonight they have eaten more than what they usually eat.
We stayed for more than an hour at the restaurant. I was telling the kids that if they wanted to eat more, they can go back at the food counter and get some more. But both of them declined, even my husband who loves to eat seems satisfied with what he got. He asked for the bill and paid for it. When we check the time it was already past 8 in the evening and we needed to hurry up because we're going to the grocery before it closed. But before that, we took some photo outside the restaurant as we forgot to take some photo while inside.

How did my ordinary day went by?
I started my day waking up at around 730 in the morning. I supposed to wake up early but since my sons online class will start a bit late, I took an extra time to sleep more. However my husband got out of the bed and when he opened the door he let our dogs inside. They went straight to the bed and started waking me up and the kids as well. What a way to start our day with these fur babies who can't stop licking as if telling us it is time to wake up and prepare our breakfast. Well, I don't really know who's the real boss here, I guess we'll always be under the spell of their cuteness.
Surprisingly though, my husband suggested that he is going to cook for our breakfast. I let him do it and let him flex his cooking skills. By the way, he was also in charge in the kitchen last night. He loves to cook and honestly he is better in cooking than me, I just don't acknowledge it because you know it might make his head bigger, if you know what I mean. Well, he prepared a simple breakfast, there was a lot of leftover rice last night so he turned it into fried rice with a twist. While he was cooking I went out to buy an instant coffee. We don't have stocks at home because I told you I have stopped drinking it. Just that, this morning is a little special. Chor! There's a little talipapa in our village, so when I went out, I bought dorado fish for our lunch. I am also curious how does it taste because I haven't try eating it yet.
We ate our heavy breakfast with a cup of coffee on the side. It was really good, again the word diet is out of the way. When we were done the kids prepared for their online class while I prepared myself because I was about to go to the kids school, at the same time my hubby took a bath after me because he has an errand to do this day. I took a ride with him going to the school and he dropped me by at the school's gate. He didn't wait for me because he might be late at his appointment. It took me an hour at the school waiting for my son's adviser. I am together with the other parents who were not able to get the modules last Tuesday. While I was waiting, I was able to meet some of the parents and we had a little conversation.
I hurriedly went home after getting the modules to check what the kids were doing, I am glad my oldest son cooked the rice already, then my youngest son was still on phone having his second class of the day. I cooked fish steak and eat after that. I normally checked my account here at noise and read from time to time too. In the afternoon, I received two parcels. The first one was the phone cases for my new smartphone that I ordered from shopee. The second parcel was the passport of my husband which he renewed last week. Uh oh, that reminds me that he is leaving soon. Am I ready to be away with him?
I got a little bored so I got my pair of scissors and started to cut some patterns of my felt crafts. While I was doing it, I got my other phone, and open my loklok account. Are you familiar with it? It is a free streaming site same as netflix but very much free. A relative introduce it to us. If you want to watch some new movies you can watch it there. Anyway, I decided to continue watching " A business Proposal" I was already on my 3rd episode and today I finished watching the last episode. I can't stopped laughing even though the plot is quite similar to a lot of korean dramas I have watched. So far it is really good,even though with all the cliches and cringey scenes. It's been a long time since I have watched this kind of genre. You better watch it too.
After watching the last episode, I can't wait for Monday to come for the new episode. Speaking of waiting, my husband isn't home yet, I wonder where he is. Maybe he is stuck in the traffic but most probably he is at his brothers house to visit his father. I asked him to buy me a medicine, because the other week the infection on my right ear came back. Earlier, I asked the doctor in the family if I can still use his old prescription to buy medicine. He asked some further details regarding my case and told me I cannot use the old prescription which was dated in 2020, instead he gave me another one. Since hubby haven't responded to my chat yet I might buy the medicine tomorrow. Kuya Jun, the doctor in the family is the husband of my husband's cousin the dentist whom I mentioned in my other articles. He is a big help to us, most specially if we have medical questions. He is always there to extend his help to everyone.
So that's it for today. It is already midnight while I was typing this and I might be awake until later to wait for Anthony. Someone might be sleeping outside the bedroom though😅Thank you for dropping by and spending your precious time to read my post.

The perks of having a generous bestfriend
Hello beautiful and handsome users of this platform. Today is another day with an unpredictable weather. When I woke up earlier the sun was already out and then this afternoon the small drop of rain started to pour down. I went to school for the retrieval of my youngest son modules and the weather was just gloomy. Dark clouds were covering the sky but the rain has stopped. When I came back home, I took a nap because I was so sleepy. After an hour of sleep, I notice the bright sunshine on our window. Wow just wow! Weather you are so unpredictable, then I remember what my friend told me about the recent weather in their states. She told me that in New York you can feel all the three season in a week. One time she sent me a bright sunny day, and then on the next morning it was freezing cold because of the rain and snow. Lastly, she saw her daffodil in the garden that is about to bloom. I just laughed with her while she was telling me about the crazy weather over their place.
Speaking of her, we just talked via video chat early this morning. Just the usual conversations and she was asking if the kids are done building the lego she sent for them. I showed it to her and she was telling me that she might sent another set of legos in her next package in May. I was actually surprise but grateful of course. Honestly, I can't still get over about the things she has sent to me just last week. So today please allow me to share some of my favorite things she has sent to me. I wanted to post it on my fb but you know some of the people in fb have different perception with regards with what you post. I'd like to share it here because I know some of you have different mindset unlike those friends I have in my fb account.
The very first on my list is the Michael Kors bag. She told me about it before so I was so excited to have it way before the package was sent. Who else doesn't love bags? Of course girls like us went gaga over it. It is actually the second bag of the same brand that she give me. But this time, it is a brand new one, she actually included the box and she haven't used it ever. I told her that I am going to use it on our anniversary date next week.
My friend husband's is working in a company that owned JBL brand. So she got a big discount whenever she purchase their products online. I told her that she haven't given me any speaker, that is why originally she was about to give me a bigger speaker, unfortunately it wasn't available when she order it that time, she then told me I can have it next time, instead she gave me two wireless headsets. Earlier, while we were talking, she was talking about this handy speaker that she is going to include in her next package next time. Oh I can't wait to have it. Furthermore, my husband requested for a JBL party box. Since he was looking at it everytime we go to the mall but the price is quite pricey. He told Janifa that he will pay for it, but I doubt if my friend would accept it.
Body spray is a must, so these perfumes is on my list. Well I am sure a lot of you specially the girls are a fan of this popular body spray. I am also a fan of of body spray more than other perfumes because of its mild, and sweet smell. Oh by the way she included a body lotion as well.
Who could resist this very cute wallet from Kate spade. I am also a fan of cute little things. This actually belong to my friend but since she haven't used it so she included it in the package too.
Last but not the least is this portable sewing machine. I don't know how to use it but I know youtube tutorials is always there to the rescue. I am planning on making little projects such as scrunchies once I learn how to use it. She included a set of different threads inside the box too. There's so many things I wanted to do with this sewing machine and I hope I could learn it easily.
I am truly happy and lucky not only for having a generous but a thoughtful friend as well. We've been friends since we were in our 2nd year in college. She moved in the US months after our graduation and since then our communication, love and the friendship stays. During pandemic, she is the one that helps us a lot financially and support us all the way.

When the oil price is high, get all your errands in one day
Because of the recent oil price hike, we preferred staying at home since Sunday. Last Friday, we make sure to get our errands be done one time. Last week, my husband's recruitment agency staffs notified him that his new salary card has arrived and ready for pick up anytime at the office. Their office location is near MOA in Pasay City. We lived in Caloocan so going there would probably takes 1 to 2 hour drive including traffic. At first, he was thinking of commuting instead of using car going there because the fare for public transportation is much cheaper than the price of fuel. Then on the same week, I had mentioned about the package my bestfriend has sent to me. Half of those does not belong to me. She asked me a favor to send the rest of the package to her foster family who lived in Sta. Mesa Manila. She included her last 1000 peso bill on the package as a payment for the courier. My husband then suggested that he can take the package to Sta. Mesa since he is going to Mall of Asia. My friend agreed, then on Friday we left our home around 1 pm in the afternoon.
There was a little congestion along Quiapo Church then we realize it was Friday which means its Quiapo Day. Glad it didn't last long because after we passed on the church the road was clear. We dropped by at my husband's office and finally he got his new salary card. By the way, if you could still remember, this was the debit card that was hacked last February. The hacker got $350 from my husband account, and just a little update, earlier this morning, when he checked it, the money has been returned on his account. Hurray for that!
Going back on our errand last Friday, after my husband picked up his card, he asked me to put the address of my friend's foster family on google map. I typed it in and it says, we'll be on the location in less than 30 minutes. The map started to sing " if there's a place you gotta go, I'm the map, I'm the map" char! 😂 Kidding aside the map instructed us to take the fastest route to Sta. Mesa. We arrived at the exact location and met the person who is the recipient of the package. I actually knew them because everytime my friend is in our country, she usually met them together with me and the kids. We spent few dinners together and the kids used to hang out too. I gave them the parcel and stayed at their residence for a few minutes.
Since we were already at Sta. Mesa, we dropped by at some music stores to look for guitar. According to Anthony, there's a lot of music store that sells much cheaper instruments around that particular area and he was right with that. My husband wants my kids to learn on how to play guitar so that they can developed talent and be interested in music. They are too engaged with gadgets and we all know that it isn't good. Anyway, we were able to buy a beginner guitar for 1000 pesos only. It is locally made from Pampanga and we should love and appreciate local instead of imported products. That's the exact word that came out from the shop owner. Well he actually has a point.
I thought we were going home after that, but hubby took another route going to Cubao. He told me that he was going to meet his cousin to get the insurance paper needed for the registration of our car this year. He got it for free, because his cousin is working in an insurance company located in Cubao.
It was already past 5 in the afternoon and finally we were going to my in laws house in North Fairview. We were supposed to have a family dinner, however when we were at the Commonwealth road his brother called and told us that the dinner is cancelled. It was rescheduled the next morning though. We headed home eventually and was thinking on what to eat for dinner. I requested to have shawarma rice which is a little famous in Lagro, however they only accepted take out orders and the dining area is closed for renovation. We ended up eating in another eatery near Lagro. They have many varieties to choose from at a very affordable price. We finished it and finally went home.
So it was a very productive time because we were able to do a lot of errands in just one day. Now that the gasoline price is surging we have to lessen our daily activities,and make sure to do errands one time to save fuel at the same time saving nature as well. Just this morning the price of gas is ranging from 70 to 80 pesos per liter. I asked my husband that it is better to stay home so we can save money than going out and he definitely agrees with me.
That's it for my today's another gibberesh article. I want to give thanks to everyone who never failed to click on my article even though I am not able to do the same thing. I was busy the whole day because of my kids school activities however I am trying to interact little by little. Hope you guys understand it.

Our love story will always be my favorite
Last Saturday afternoon while we were on the way to the cemetery I opened up my youtube account on my phone. I searched this particular song that my husband and I both like. We are both born in the 80's though he is 4 years ahead of me our types of music is quite similar. We both love the 90's boyband back in the days and this song entitled " The day we find love" by 911 is on the list of our all time favorite. Now upon listening to the song, it gives me an inspiration and idea to share to you all the not so typical love story of me and my husband.
I met my husband back in 2004. We were both working as a production crew in Dunkin Donuts in Pasig City. I was a newly hired then, while Anthony was on her 4th month already. I could exactly remember the first time I saw him, he was coating the donuts with butternuts mixture. That is why up until now, whenever I saw butternut flavor donuts, it always reminds me of our sweet love story. Char! I got a little crush on him because of his physical looks and another thing was that he was very accomodating most specially to a newbie like me. We've been together in the morning shift for a week then his scheduled was changed. By the way, on that one week together, he already mentioned that he got a long time girlfriend and showed me her pictures. Ouch, I am busted that fast.😁 I settled being a friend then after two weeks of not seeing each other, he was back at morning shift. However though, his contract has ended after a week. We remained as friends and we talked to each other via text and telephone calls even after that.
After his contract has ended, our communication stays. As fas as I can remember we exchanged few text messages from time to time. Then there was one time, my crewmates decided to have the usual gathering. When I say usual gathering, its having fun with your colleague while drinking and all. We decided to do it on the house of my co worker who happened to be Anthony's schoolmate in college. Little did I know, to my surprise he was also present on that gathering. Until it was followed by another one. We didn't notice that we were getting closer by that time and he started to get touchy too. However I know he was on a relationship so I decided to stop whatever feelings I had for him because in the end I will be the one who will get hurt.
When I finished my contract on Dunkin Donuts that is the time that we haven't seen each other anymore. Although there were times that I sent a generic text messages to him, most specially that time, unlimited text messages and unlimited call at night was a trend. Sometimes I also received text messages from him asking me how I was doing since that year I decided to go back to school. Then on my second year in college, I got myself a boyfriend so that my growing feelings for him will disappear. I know it isn't a nice thing to do it that was why we broke up only after months of dating. He knows about it and he distanced himself from me. But after he knows that we broke up, we started communicating and seeing as friends again. We have set of friends from Dunkin Donuts and from time to time we set a date to see each other.
It lasted for more than a year, until he slowly showed interest in me. We set a date almost every week. Until he started to fetch me at my work and at school. He visited me most at my auntie's house where I stayed back in college days. During that time he was working in Shangrila Hotel Makati as a waiter and after his duty, that even though it was late he would dropped by at home just to see me. We stayed at home just watching Spongebob Squarepants on tv which is our favorite cartoons by the way. Our usual simple dates lasted more until we had a mutual understanding. (Marupok ako guys, sorna!😄)
I asked him about his recent relationship and he told me they haven't seen each other ever since we started to hang out. According to him, for some reasons the girl stopped contacting him and he assumed that they had broken up. After that, we took our relationship to the next level on March 7, 2007. We started celebrating our monthsarry every month. Every month feels special with him. I always felt the butterflies in my stomach whenever I received a text that he is on the way to fetch me at school. I actually felt proud because my classmates would always tease me how good looking my boyfriend is. Teehee. 😍Like I had mentioned earlier that was the first thing I noticed about him, but upon knowing him through the years, I found out how thoughtful he is. From our monthly celebrations, we started counting years and I can't believe this year marked our 15 years being together.
Truly it wasn't easy, we've been through major hardships and misunderstandings. We almost broke up because we took our pride lead the way. Glad our love for each other still prevails. Now I am looking for more years of happiness. We may not have a perfect relationship but who cares, no one is perfect duh! 😆 Our flaws, and imperfections make this relationship a little special. And most of all our love story will always be my favorite.

When is the right time to forgive?
Does someone hurts you in the past? How long does it take for you to forgive that someone? Do you believe in forgive but do not forget? You might wondering why I am asking these questions, well it is because last night, after our yummylicious samgyupsal dinner and when everyone was a little tipsy, my husband got a heated arguments with his brother. I am used to their arguments like everytime, and as you know no one wants to let their pride down. Everyone was shouting at the top of their voice proving their points of view. Maybe if you just knew them and you heard them arguing like crazy you might get turned off but well they love each other like that. After their heated arguments, the topic has been changed and just like that everyone is on good mood again. 😆
Now going back to our main title, the reason why these brothers are having a very hot conversations was because of their oldest brother. Last year, during pandemic they had a misunderstanding with the big brother. Unfortunately my husband isn't ready to forgive and forget the things that his big brother has done. However his other brothers were on the opposite side. They are willing to forget everything for the sake of the family. About two weeks ago, his big brother came to North Fairview to visit, by the way he is living in Los Baños together with his family. My husband was asked to go there, my hubby on the other hand went without the knowledge that his big brother was there. When he found out about it, he didn't even bother to show himself to his big brother because he has been vocal to everyone even to me that he isn't ready to face him. He was really hurt by what happened in the past. I already shared about it in my last year article. Allow me to share you a little glimpse about it.
During the early pandemic, as we all know a lot of people lost their jobs and that includes my husband and his 2 brothers as well. In their family only his big brother has an stable job and his salary is way above others because he is working as a director of a research center inside UP Los Baños. More or less in times of hardships we can only rely to him because no one in the family beside him is capable to help financially. However that wasn't the case. In the whole duration of pandemic he gave my husband 5000 pesos and his other brother too. Of course we were thankful for that. Little did we know after a month or two he was asking where did the money he gave went to. Like he was expecting we should have make the 5k into something. To be honest the 5k that he give was used to repair our car that time, as we all know car repair is quite expensive. He was disappointed because it seems like we didn't use the money he give into something productive. First and foremost we didn't asked for it and we thought he give it from the bottom of his heart so why after a month you are asking where did the money went? And for just as low $100 dollar you are willing to forget your brotherhood. What a shame right? If we only knew that it will happen that way we should've received that certain amount in the first place. One more thing, it was the first time that he give our family that amount. Anyway, with or without his help we survived the challenges of pandemic.
Because of that, all the hurtful things he has said to my husband even before that incident came back, that lead him to block his wife because for us she is the cause of everything. If you notice that I am really close to my in laws family but there's always an exception on the list. My sister in law,the wife of my husband's big brother is such a pain in my head.😅 I don't want to elaborate anymore the reasons why because we might end up tomorrow if I will mention the things I hate about her. Am I being bad? Well my patience with her ended when she blocked me on fb. Is it because my husband blocked him, does it give her the right to block me as well. Ok so if that is the case why blocked my other sister in law and his husband as well. Mind you she is way educated and much mature than me but she ended up being the immature one here. I haven't see her and refuse to meet her last Christmas, however I am okay with his husband because I don't have issue with him. Whatever his issue with my husband, it will always be between them two. I don't think I have right to mingle because it might get things worse. They are old enough to handle things.
According to my husband, he isn't ready to forgive his big brother, now his two brother however was explaining the things about this and that. I was on the middle of them while they were shouting at each other. It seems like my husband needs more time to heal his feelings regarding with the incidents in the past. No matter how his two brothers insisting that is not the right thing to do, my husband however stay firm on his decision. And that's where their conversations ends. After a while they were all calm and we bid our goodbye because it was already past 2 in the morning.
While we were in the car, my husband just suddenly said that it is not that he didn't want to forgive and forget, what he is asking is for more time to heal. And as his wife I understand him very well. I know time will come that he will eventually get along with his brother and let's just hope that it will happen soon because at the end of the day they are still family. As for me I don't think I am ready to get fine with my sister in law. (evil smirk). Hahaha! I guess being civil is all right but being close to her will never happen.

Homemade Samgyeopsal Dinner on Saturday night
It's weekend and you know what this means it is another day to spend with your loved ones. I woke up late today because there is no online class at the same time I slept very late the other night. After eating breakfast, I went out to buy rice and vegetables for the pork sinigang I am about to cook at lunch. After eating our lunch I prepared my laundry because it has been days since the last time I washed the dirty clothes. I have to lessen them because we might run out of clean clothes to wear. I also folded some clothes and tranferred them to our newly purchased cabinet. I was in hurry to finish up chores because we're going to the cemetery in the afternoon to visit my late mother in law like we always used to do every weekends.
A few minutes more later, we were on the way to San Mateo the location of the cemetery. The memorial park closes at 6 pm and we arrived just 5 minutes before the clock turns 6. My in laws came a little earlier than us so we spent the next few minutes eating our very late afternoon snacks. Again we took family photo for fb purposes only. It was already dark and the roving guard advised us that it is time to get home.
Personally I am so excited to get back home because our supposed to be family dinner on Friday was rescheduled the next day. I am so excited well my tummy to be specific because my sister in law prepared homemade samgyupsal for dinner. Our family loves to eat but since the pandemic started we aren't allowed to go out most specially eating at a samgyupsal restaurant.

I am actually a fan of this food because I am a self proclaimed korean drama addict. I always wanted to have a taste of their food like everytime I watch single episodes of their drama that is why I am so glad when they introduced samgyeopsal restaurant in our country a few years back. Moving forward, we got home at around 8 in the evening at my sister in law village. We stayed with my brother in law house first to give respect to my father in law. And then a few minutes more they notified us that we are about to begin. They usually set it up on their garage area and before we could began grilling the pork we took some pictures of it. Again it is for fb purposes only.😁 When it was done my sister in law and I started grilling meat, so that everyone can eat.
I am happily grilling the meat while others were starting to eat their dinner. By the way my brother in law cooked buffalo chicken in addition to our food that night it was also good and it wasn't spicy so that kids can enjoy it too.
I let others do the grilling because it was time for me to eat too. I took the lettuce, put some meat in it added kimchi and the other sauces, wrap it up and eat in one bite like what I usually saw in a korean dramas. We missed soju though, but it's ok because we bought something to replace it. An hour later when everyone was done eating, a little raindrops started to fall, so we move the table in order for us to not get wet.
The girls and I had a very light alcoholic drinks while the boys had their usual drink for that night. We shared stories like we usually do. It was another happy night that we never noticed it was 2 in the morning already. The rain started to pour again and we were waiting for it to stop before we could go home. It seems like the rain won't stop so I told the kids inside that we needed to go home for our furbabies are waiting too.
It was a smooth ride going back home because the road is clear. We got home before the clock strike at 3. I was a little tipsy and sleepy so I just checked my account here. I was supposed to write this article but I was so sleepy that my hands cannot even type a single word. Nevertheless I really did enjoy our night.

Another Ramblings on a Friday
It's finally Friday, another week is about to end. Moreso, some of those working in a 5 day work a week will have another great weekend with their family. However I can never relate to that as I am married to an OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker) Our family time is almost everyday whenever he is on vacation. Just like this week, we've always been out as I have already shared in my past articles. For the past 5 days we've only stayed in the house on Monday because I was very exhausted and has hangover from our overnight swimming. I had a terrible headache that day that is why I prefer sleeping than going out.
Then on Tuesday, my husband renewed his passport and after that we roam around the mall looking for a brand of phone that will definitely suit our liking. Eventually on Wednesday you know what happened. I got my new phone and my husband as well. I know we deserve it because our last purchase was in 2017. I just hope our new smartphone will also last just like our previous one.
Now what have we done on Thursday? Yesterday my oldest son has an appointment schedule to the dentist. His appointment was at 12 noon however we didn't make it on time because of a little congestion along the road. We arrived at the clinic 15 minutes before 1 pm. I thought the dentist won't accept us anymore fortunately there wasn't no patient at that time so she accomodate us. My son needs some teeth cleaning and he was been so brave yesterday. By the way the dentist is my husband's cousin. She has always been strict when it comes to time appointment that is why we're worried that she might reschedule my son's teeth cleaning. She also suggested that Aaron is ready for braces because all of his permanent teeth are out. She said it will be his graduation gift to Aaron. Hahaha! Oh no! I wish my Aaron will be ready for that wire and all. We stayed at the clinic for a few minutes because Jojo (my brother in law) was also there for his braces adjustment in the morning. He was asked to stay to assist Ate Bebe after his adjustment because no one was available to assist Ate Bebe that time. We were supposed to be at Jojo's house after the appointment with the dentist, so he went with us going home.
Our next purpose for that day was to inquire at the clinic inside Jojo's village for the circumcision of my oldest son. It was recommended by my sister in law because his son was circumcized there. Unfortunately we didn't pursue it because we're going to have an staycation on the 22nd of the month. He might not be fully heal by then, so we just move it maybe after our one day stay at the hotel.
We then proceed to Jojo house and stay there. Anthony cooked spaghetti for our "merienda" while Jojo went out to buy some hotdog buns because he was planning to make hotdog sandwich. I took a nap that last an hour and when I woke up the hotdog sandwich is gone. Glad there was still spaghetti and "turon" which came from my sister in law. By the way Jojo and my sister in law are neighbors. After eating my afternoon snacks, I told myself I am not going to eat dinner because my tummy is so full. But then again Jojo cooked something delicious on dinner "ginataang tilapia" so who can ever refuse it.
Around 9 in the evening, we're supposed to go back home in Caloocan however, my other brother in law came home from work and what does it mean? Oh another bonding moments for the brothers and I guess you know it already. They finished after an hour and a half. We just stayed with my father in law and his dog while they were having fun.
We got home at around 11 in the evening and the dogs were patiently waiting for us. I am glad they are actually getting along well and our new furbabies were doing good as long as they can have food.😁 Oh by the way, it has been third night that we have water interruption. I don't know what with our water provider that by 10 in the evening there is no water in the faucet. It came back in the morning so we have to fill our container with water so that we have something to used specially in middle of the night.

Where did the nachos go? Overnight swimming part 2
Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing fine and good. Remember if you feel like you are losing hope, giving up is never an option. Always have faith in the Lord for all your hardships in life will soon end and you'll receive the fruits of your labor.

On the last part of that article I had mentioned about having a crazy evening with the rest of the gang. It all started because of the missing nacho chips. I was actually the one who brought it and because we don't have any dip for it, my cousin in law suggested on making a homemade sour cream dip so that we can eat it. She bought the ingredients needed for it at the sari sari store outside the resort. It was supposed to be our "pulutan" because were planning to drink some soju. When everything was set, we started looking for the nacho chips. I asked my husband about and he said he already give it to Bugoy my brother in law and he confirmed it by telling us that he put it at the top of the sink but it wasn't there. It was quite impossible for it to be misplaced because of its size. We started looking for it and had a conclusion that it might had been in the car all along. The problem is that the parking area was far from the condotel we were staying at that moment and was already past midnight. Erika (my sister in law sister) and I decided to go to the parking area, while we were walking we noticed that the other guests were already out of the pool and the surroundings looked creepy and scary. With that in thought both of us got scared at the same time and did not proceed, instead we go back to the condotel while laughing at our crazy thoughts.
We started our drinking session with the other girls, while the boys were having their own. We were already having fun then someone mentioned about the missing nachos again. The girls then decided to tranferred our bottle of soju at the pool area so that when its empty we can take a dip right away, but before that we have to take a look for the nacho in the car for the last time. I got the car key and the five of us walked into the parking lot. I opened the car door on the passenger side because that is where the last time I saw it, but tada it was really gone. I opened the compartment at the back of the car but it wasn't there either. Now where the h*ll is nacho chips? After finding out that it was really gone, I started telling them stories about the lost things inside our house and then everyone started to screamed and run for their lives.😂 My sister in law agreed with my story because she also had a version of it. Have you experienced it too? Losing items and then found about it later? Well that evening, unfortunately though the nacho is really nowhere to be found.
Moving on, we didn't mind about the nacho anymore and resumed our drinking session while having a non stop conversations about this and that. We talked about life, the love story of my brother in law and so on until we noticed that our bottle of sojus is empty. Seems like the girls wanted to drink more so they asked my brother in law Renzo to buy as another drink. While we were waiting, the girls and I wanted to have fun while taking a lot of funny pictures. We ended up taking a lot of them and deleted those photo that aren't pleasing to our eyes.
When Renzo came back with our drink, the other boys joined us in another table. He bought us gin along with chips and finally we got something to dip in the homemade sour cream sauce made by Jeralyn. It was already 1 am and we decided to enjoy the pool and swim. The water wasn't cold that is why everyone goes to the pool and had fun. Like the typical family outing, we were so noisy, shouting and laughing out loud. We were confident that no one will be disturbed because it was only us in the resort. It feels like we rented the whole resort for that night. We continued drinking while we are in the pool.
At 3 am, we were all drunk and decided to stopped and changed our clothes. I went straight to our bedroom and sleep. I just woke up when I heard someone knocking at the door. It was past 7 am and that only means it is time for our check out. I am still on my sleeping clothes, still sleepy but got no choice because were no longer extending our stay. We took a family picture before going home and I continued my sleep inside the car.

I am glad that we can finally have the chance to enjoy this kind of gathering with the family. We had been deprived for almost two years because of the recent situation we are all coping up. Just keep in mind that even though we are starting to go normal, we should never be complacent because covid still exists. We can still have fun while following all the safety measures. Remember you are not only doing it for yourself but for everyone else. Take care and stay safe everyone.

Just two days ago, while we were at the mall, I saw the nacho chips same as the one that lost on the night of our swimming. I took a picture of it and sent it to hubby, he then sent it to the group chat telling everyone that the maybe the reason it was lost because it came back to the store.😅😂

My 0.7 Bch is safe and I still got a new phone
How is everyone? Today is Wednesday and I still can't believe how days passes by quickly. It's been a month since my husband came home for his vacation. I was actually worried because when he came back home he got no LOE or letter of employment. This has happened when all of the seafarer was repatriated on the early days of pandemic. I thought it will take another year before he can get one. Fortunately though on the first week of March, he was already given a new schedule. He actually had a flight details for his return at work. He was asked by their recruitment agency to complete his pending requirements too. Now his passport is expiring this August, I am glad I secured an appointment schedule yesterday March 8. The renewal area is located in Robinsons Novaliches which is only a 10 minutes ride away from our home. He was supposed to be at the site by 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. He was notified to be there 15 minutes before his scheduled time but guess what we left the house by 3 pm. I kept nagging Anthony about it but he was just chilled. We reached the mall by 3:20 pm because there were some congestion along the way. Have you ever experienced it also, that sometimes when you are in hurry, there's so many distractions in your way. That was the reason why our supposed to be 10 minutes travel time became 20 minutes. Anyway to cut my long story short, Anthony was able to renew his passport after about an hour and a half. He just have to wait for another week for the courier to deliver it at our home address.
After his appointment with the DFA, we proceed to our next purpose of going out that day. To look for an affordable cellphone in replacement for our old ones. If you could remember, last week I had mentioned about converting my bch into our local currency to give my husband a present on our coming anniversary. I decided then to buy him a new phone, however the price of bch dips more. Now what am I gonna do? I also told my husband about it and he just smiled at me. I know deep inside he loved the idea about it. In the last few days, I kept asking him we should already buy so that we could take some photo in it together before he could leave the country. Maybe because I am such a nagger, he gives up and yesterday we went to different shops just to find the right phone that will suit our budget. After looking at Robinsons, we tranferred to SM to look for more. We went to cyberzone and so many salesclerks were approaching and asking us what phones we are looking for. Honestly there are so many brands today to choose from that shows good performance even at a low price. However, my husband and I were a samsung loyalist. My last samsung purchase was in 2017 and is still working good up until now. It is the phone I am using before I switched to iphone in 2018. Speaking of my broken iphone I am a little hesitant to bring it to the service center because its battery performance is already poor, though its specs is really good but I think I have to say goodbye to it for now.
We spent for more than two hours looking for our prefferred model phones. It was out of stock and the color we wanted was no longer available too. We tranferred from different shops to other shops but to no avail it wasn't available. We almost give up and then another salesman from this store approached and offered us of their ongoing promo. We were actually looking for A32 for hubby and A22 for me. But ended up getting interested with M52 and M32. I was actually looking for M22 but it was only available through online. The big discount on this M series from Samsung caught our attention. Like the price of M52 originally is 22990 php but you can get it at 14990 php that was whooping 8k discount. On the other hand, M32 price was discounted at 2500 php. From 13490 php you can avail it 10990 php. We were ready to purchase it, unfortunately the M52 which my husband like is reserved for someone. The agent assured us they will have another unit the next morning from another branch. They promised to give us a call the next day. Anyway, the name of the shop is Memo Express, so if you want to avail the big discount you can check their store. Just a little disclaimer I am not associated with their store.😅
Then today at around 1 in the afternoon, Anthony received a call from them informing that the phone is already at their store. I took a nap first and then by 5 pm, we were at SM Fairview again. I prepared the money and went inside the shop. After some briefing and all the two smartphone was handed to us. I asked hubby if I should give him the money but then he just told me to keep it. And because of that my 0.7 bch is safe back in my wallet. I initially wanted to give him a present but in the end he was still the one who handed me one. Now I am thinking again what to give him on our anniversary. Do you have any suggestions friends?

The package has arrived and now let's see what's inside?
Hello everyone! I know I supposed to write the part two of my article yesterday but I am super excited to share that the package or parcel that my bestfriend sent to me last December has finally arrived. I was actually expecting it last month on my oldest son birthday but maybe because of some reasons the parcel was delayed. On the night that we had an overnight swimming Janifa my bestfriend notified me that the courier might contact me the next day because the package was already in our country and maybe the next morning they will call me and delivered it on our home address. I informed her that I will update her soon I got it.
The next morning, we left the resort at around 8 in the morning. I was slept the whole ride going home because of some hangover from our drinking session the other night. It lasts until we got home that I even got motion sickness along our travel back home. I went straight up in our room, open the aircon and get to sleep once more. By 12 in the afternoon, Anthony woke me up telling me the package has arrived, then I remember I forgot to take my phone with me at the bedroom. I suddenly went out of the bedroom literally without bothering how I look like. Thank God for the face mask because the delivery guy never notice the dry saliva on my face. Regarding my hair, I really have a curly and frizzy hair so I guess he hasn't notice that I haven't brush my hair either. I received the parcel and notified Janifa that the long awaited package she has sent to me find its way home.
Upon checking her messages she told me to inform her before opening the box because half of the package wasn't mine. The other goods belongs to her foster family in Sta. Mesa. I didn't expect her to call me since it was already midnight in her place. I ate my lunch and leave the package in our garage. I tried to move it inside but it was heavy, then Anthony was upstairs and was sleeping already. That time, I still have headache and felt a little dizzy so I decided to get a rest. However after 30 minutes, my phone rangs and it was Janifa who's calling me. I answered it, told her that I am beyond happy and super excited to open the box.
I opened it while I was talking to her because she had some instructions for the rest of the package inside. She forgot to put a name on some of the goods that is why she needed to talk to me. By the way this was her 1st package to me because she visits the country every year before covid so most of the time she handed me her gift personally. Now it has been 3 years since the last time we meet and in order to make up for the lost years she sent me a package.
So what's inside the box? The first thing that got my interest was the portable sewing machine that she bought for me. I would like to learn using it and then maybe used it for my crafting. Then I separated the things for her foster family, most of it are clothes that has name on its tag. There's ferrero chocolates, boxes of cherrios and big nutella. Next I got the box of Lego Star Wars limited edition, I posted about it in my noise account last December, that was for Aaron and Athan. After I separated the ones for the other family, the big box of Michael Kors pop up. I already know what's inside it because Janifa told me about the bag she sent me. When I opened it, I was surprised because a lot of things are still inside. There's perfume, clothes for the kids, two wireless earbuds from Jbl, a whole lot more. With all honesty I am so overwhelmed with all the items inside the box. I didn't expect it and I am super glad to have a very generous bestfriend in the whole wide world.
Words aren't enough to express how thankful I am because she was there for us always, most specially those times when we got nothing. I think some of you already knew about her because I keep mentioning her in my past articles. I may not have a lot a friends but a real one is enough. Thank you neng! ( by the way that's our endearment) Love you to the moon and back. Hope to see you this year.

Our first overnight swimming this year (part 1)
Well hello beautiful souls! I am once again sorry if I had missed your articles. I tried to catch up but then yesterday we had some sort of celebration because it was the 45th wedding anniverasary of my parents in law. Although my mother in law has been in the hands of our Lord for a long time already, we are still celebrating it every year like a typical Filipino I may say. So we celebrated it by bringing foods in the cemetery and invited some relatives. Also last Saturday, the family decided to have an overnight swimming at the resort we had visit 2 years ago before the pandemic started. My sister in law bought vouchers and discount card from the resort and will be expired this year, so in order to not waste it we just decided to use it up that night. It was a sudden decision because my brother in law Jojo is going to leave the country very soon. We might not have a chance to have a family swimming because he will be busy with some of his requirements.
We left the cemetery around 630 in the evening and proceed to the resort's location which is just 30 minutes away from the cemetery. Everyone was excited but I am not. Well the resort have a very nice view that you can enjoy all its amenities when it's daytime. The last time we got there we also had an overnight swimming but we extended until the next morning. You can appreciate well it's surrounding and enjoy endulging its pools. But since the majority wants it, even my kids were so happy knowing they're gonna swim again after along time, who am I to burst their happiness.
We've got some issues before entering the resort regarding the discount vouchers. I thought we'll leave the area soon but then after some negotiations, the staffs allowed us to get inside finally. We are 20 persons in all including the kids. And after using the discount cards our total bill was only 6600 php and that includes the cottages, the entrance fee and the condotel that will serve as our sleeping area for the night. The other staff leads us to our condotel and the one we got looks a lot different from what we got last time. We took some photos while the kids started to change their clothes because they were very ready and excited to swim. When everything else was settled, the girls and I bonded over a cup of coffee. It was my first cup of coffee in a while after I quit drinking it last year. The marites in us were shaking as we share some fresh chika about this and that. Someone from the room even took us a stolen shot and showed us the capture photo. We all laughed at it as we really looked like we are gossiping or talking about someone.
I was a little bored because I don't have internet connection nor data. It was my fault because I forgot to buy load for my simcard earlier while I was still at home. I only have 20 php in my account balance, not enough to registered my sim to data promo. That was also the reason why I haven't got the chance to visit my account here to check some articles and interact with others. It was already past 11 in the evening when I was able to connect from my social media account. Thanks hubby for the load. That time the kids were done swimming and changed on their sleeping wear too. I let them eat first because after swimming all of them got hungry.
The whole resort is a very nice, recommended for company who wants to have team building. They have areas for other activities aside from swimming. Speaking of swimming I think they have more than 5 swimming pools inside unfortunately we can't access the other pools during nightime specially the wave pool. What I like most about this resort is that a lot of pine trees can be seen. There are plenty of plants and beautiful flowers as well. But at night they all look spooky and scary at the same time. At around past midnight I think we are the ones left inside the resort and that's where our crazy evening began.

Ramen to go for dinner
Hello there beautiful humans. A few days ago when we went out to the mall we took some groceries too. Usually when hubby is out of the country I do my grocery at the nearby store because I don't know how to drive. I tried learning how to drive but it was a disaster. Hahaha! I just knew how to start the engine and well I can drive it only within the cemetery when hubby tried teaching me a few years back, unfortunately he give up and it was for a better because we might have broken up because we always ended up fighting because I don't have enough courage to learn. Maybe soon, when? I don't either. Only time would tell.
Now going back to our grocery stuff, we found this ramen to go at one of frozen goods at SM supermarket. There's actually two grocery stores at SM Fairview, the supermarket and the hypermarket. For the past months, we are always at the latter one. That day we visited the first one and it was a good decision because we found out some new amazing stuffs at the store. They now have a corner for international goods and other imported products that was very new to my eyes. And speaking of it, they got another instant ramen from the famous ichiran in Japan. I haven't been in Japan but my husband has been there many times, perks of working in a cruise ship. He told me about this famous ramen shop and the last time he went there to eat, he bought some instant ramen for me so I could have an idea how delicious it is. Imagine how I was surprised to find it in a local grocery store but I was also shocked at the same time because of its price. The price for 5 instant noodles cost 1450 php, so using my calculator while I was writing this, the cost of each noodle pack is 290 php. Expensive right? The size is about the same size of regular pancit canton noodles. No matter how good that ramen is I refused to buy it.
However, Anthony got the the frozen ramen to go. It was already good for two and the price was 790 php. Yeah I know it was expensive too, but the thing is it comes with all the ingredients including the vegetables and pork inside the package. The ramen package was from Ramen Nagi, and yes their ramens are quite expensive but it was deliciously heaven. You'll end up asking for extra noodles because one serving of it isn't enough. We ate at their Trinoma branch in 2019, that was a long time ago so I surely missed it. I have to admit that when it comes to food we are a big spender.
The next day, we decided to served it on our dinner. I simply followed the instructions on the package. First I heat up the soup until it boils. You can use a microwave and since we don't have one I used the stove instead. Next cook the noodles by putting it in a boiled water and stir it for about 30 seconds. Drain and then set aside. The next step is heating the toppings which include the vegetables and the pork. Blanche it on boiling water for 30 seconds too. You can also boiled some egg which is optional because it isn't included in the package. If everything is done, time to assemble everything. And tada your very own ramen is ready.
And just as expected, we ran out of ramen noodles because it was only good for 2 and we are four in the house, good thing we bought another instant ramen brand from the international corner at the supermarket but a little cheaper from Ichiran. I cooked it and just in time the boys asked for some extra noodles it was ready.
We were all satisfied with the taste of the ramen because it was just the same as what we have in the restaurant. Just that this time I was given a chance to prepare it by myself and be a ramen chef even just for a day.

Late night roadtripping while reminiscing some good memories
Last night it was the first Friday of the month my husband asked us to be at Quiapo church. He is a lowkey devotee of Black Nazarene because one of his wish to work overseas was answered by having faith in him. So whenever he went back for vacation he never failed to visit the church to give thanks for always guiding him at work. We left the house at around 930 in the evening. We usually goes at that time because there is a lesser traffic going to Quiapo. We are living in Caloocan and there's a lot of congestion you will get through in order to be at the church, so late night travel is good.
Just as expected the road was clear and we arrived at the church around past 10 in the evening. There were still some churchgoers by that time but the mass has ended. It is still open for those people who wants to pass by and pray. We got inside and utter some prayer of thanks to the Lord for all the guidance he has given us for the past years. One more thing to be thankful was that my brother in law got also his contract yesterday and will be leaving the country within this month. My husband however is leaving early next month. Lastly remember the lost money that I had mentioned in my past article, the $150 dollars has been reflected in my husband's account, now we are waiting for the $200 comeback. There are so many things to be thankful and visiting the church reminds me that God has always been there through our ups and down.
We didn't stay for long and planned to go Luneta Park unfortunately it was already late and as we passed by at the park it was really dark, it seems like it was no longer allowed to stay at that specific time of the day. We had roadtrip along the Metro instead. We passed by at the new Baywalk, I wanted to see the controversial dolomite beach but again it was seemingly dark that I haven't seen anything. I remember back then a lot of people are bombarding that place most specially during sunset time. My husband and I actually dated once or twice in that place. And then during college days I remember a classmate singing karaoke in one of our visit there. So much nostalgia right?
Speaking of college, the road we took lead us to my old alma mater. Another series of memories came back and I was honestly happy because of that. I remember all the hardships I had done in order to achieve my most awaited college diploma. It was never easy because I needed to work or else I might not graduate. I worked in the morning and in the afternoon I goes to school. So much memories suddenly goes back as we continue our roadtripping. The sight of the jeep and lrt which transport me back and forth to school and the place where I stayed during college brings me another recollection. I usually took the train going to school so that I won't be late but I choose to ride the jeepney going home so that I can sleep inside it. Luckily I had never experienced any bad incidents travelling back home while I am sleep.
As I was mentioning the story to my husband and my kids I felt proud of what I had done. Anthony can relate a lot because he was a working student too back when he was in college. Sometime last year he had an anxiety attack back at work because of realizing he has been working his a** off since he was 16. I had to remind him always that all of his hard works will pay off in the end. Working while studying is really hard that I don't think I want my kids to experience the same thing, but in the end it will always be their choice.
After an hour more, we were already at Cubao. There has been so many changes in the area. My husband went to Ramon Magsaysay High School in Cubao and this place had been part of his teenage years along with his brother who is only a year ahead of him. He narrated how he usually roam around the area and who would never forget the COD during Christmas at Cubao. My son asked me about it I told him it was cash on delivery.😅 Kidding aside Christmas on Display was a very popular attraction specially for kids every christmas season and I think it all started in Cubao. I was able to watch it when I worked in Greenhills and I remember watching it with the kids a few years back.
We had few more stories while we were on the road. It was a perfect timing for city driving because the time was already past midnight which means no traffic. We only stopped when we reached the stoplight other than that our travel went very smoothly while listening to some music at the radio. My younger son was already snoring at the back of the car while my oldest has been watching different cars on the road. He is quite fascinated with cars brand most specially if its a sports car. Last night we've seen a Mustang gt along the Commonweath road, and just as expected my Aaron was so delighted to see it.
After 30 minutes more we arrived safely back home. Another fun and memorable road trip is done. Looking for more in the coming days, I just hope the price of gas could go lower so that we can have more places to go.

Unexpected family Thursdate
Hello lovely humans! I just got home. I was supposed to write a different topic earlier though I don't have something in particular to write. Then, as I finished my afternoon nap, I heard my husband talking to his brother. They were at Fairview Terraces that time and was asking us to come for some afternoon snacks. The mall is just a 10 to 15 minutes ride away from us. He told Anthony that he ordered pizza and we should be there in 15 minutes so that we can eat the pizza while it's hot. But since I just woke up that moment and haven't taken a bath yet, we arrived at the mall at least an hour later.
A night before our afternoon date, my brother in law Jojo sent a message on our group chat about this particular promo about this famous milk tea store. Today is March 3 and some online shops have their own version of 3.3 sale as you can see a lot of users have been victimized by this ongoing sale by adding items on their cart. I am glad I was able to resist the temptation of it. Hurray for that! Going back to the milk tea that I just mentioned, Macao Imperial Tea had an 3.3 flash alert. They offered the alto size black pearl milk tea for only 33 php, from its original price of 110 php. The promo runs from 3pm to 5pm only this day. It was a great savings right, most specially for those who loves milk tea and I do love it.
When we arrived at the mall, Jojo together with his brother Renzo and nephew Yoma was inside Dominos pizza. They were already eating and waiting for us. While waiting for Anthony as he parked the car I ordered two boxes of 10" pizza which was also on promo on this day at the price of 299 php. It was so good because it was served very hot. My tummy was very happy and again diet was unknown at that particular time.
After we are done eating, we went out of the mall and went to the other side of road via overpass to be at SM Fairview. This is what I like about these nearby malls in our place because you can be at two malls by just passing over the bridge. If you want a better ambiance Fairview Terraces is a good choice but if you want the traditional mall SM Fairview is a place to go.
We proceeded to our favorite place in SM the arcade games. This will never be missed whenever we passed by at the mall. As usual we bought tokens for the kids and also for the kids at heart. Everyone was happy while spending their tokens to the games they do like. They ran out of tokens and bought a new one until we noticed the time. It was already 8 in the evening and the mall is closing at 9 pm. We separated our ways and said our goodbyes.
I told Anthony that I will be at the kids school for some "Brigada Eskwela" thingy and we are required to bring some gardening stuffs so we dropped by at Ace Hardware store to buy gardening tools which I can also use for my plants at home. And then after paying it at the counter, we looked for a place where we can eat our dinner. Anthony was suggesting Thai foods although I'd like to eat pad thai which is by the way my favorite thai food I refused because the kids might not enjoy it. We ended up eating at Popeyes. I haven't tasted their chicken yet, so why not give it a try. I ordered a bundle promo for three and just added an extra rice. The price is affordable just like in other fastfood chains, I was just a little curious because of the hype I have been hearing about this new foodchain. With all honesty, I can say that there's nothing interesting about their food. I guess the reason for its hype is because Megan Thee Stallion is endorsing one of their product and you can see her posters on their store and on the menu board which I thought was Nicki Minaj at first because of some resemblance.
We finished just in time before the mall closed. And just like that, our night ended up with a full and happy tummy because of this unplanned date. This is actually what we usually do whenever hubby is on vacation. We were always at the mall almost everyday. This served as our bonding moments to make up for those times that he was on board. But after pandemic we tried to minimize it in order to save money. But I guess an unplanned date would always be fine, as long as you spend it with the ones you love.

Converting my Bch earnings to give my husband a present
It's March the third month of the year and guess who is celebrating anniversary in a few more weeks. Tada of course it's me and hubby. This March 22 we will be celebrating our 10th year being together as husband and wife. I am pretty excited as my bestfriend already booked us for a one day staycation in a hotel as her gift for our special day. Since it's our 10th year I am thinking of something special to give my hubby out from my wallet. Eversince we got together and I decided to resign from work I wasn't able to give him anything well obviously because all the money I have was from him. That is why now that I have a little earning courtesy of noise and read I would like to give him something special on our coming anniversary.
Now what am I going to give him? Yesterday my little family went out to the mall. We don't actually had a plan on going out because were trying to save more money for emergency purposes. Unfortunately we needed to exchange certain amount of money for our daily expenses because we ran out of peso bills. And after exchanging some of it, we proceeded to the mall. While we were at the mall, the first thing that hubby looked at was his favorite brand of shoes. He is a shoes lover and recently he was disappointed that one of his shoes was broken because he wasn't able to wear it during pandemic. So I am thinking should I buy him a new one? He loves shoes a lot because when he was younger he was deprived from it. He had to save from working hard in order to buy one. While inside the shop, he got interested with one design but the cost is almost 9k. So it is a no for me. When he comes back at work they are now allowed for a shore leave so I guess he can buy whatever shoes he wants.😅
I wanted to give him a wrist watch but he was already using a good brand of watch, furthermore he has another brand of watch that he hasn't used. It was a gift from the company when he reached his 10th year on service. So I guess it is another no.
One of the reason we got at the mall because we wanted to bring my broken iphone for repair. Unluckily the Power Mac branch there don't have a service center. We have to bring the unit at their service center located at SM North Edsa. I just got the number and they advise us to have an appointment first before going there. Since we are already there we looked for some affordable phones because I am pestering my hubby to buy me new one as a replacement for my broken phone. I am asking hubby to buy himself a new one too because his old buddy needs replacement too. He doesn't want yet but yesterday I think he has a change of heart. We had this particular brand that obviously suit his taste. The price is almost 14k and its already 5G. Most of the time he had a hard time connecting to internet while on board because of his old phone. So I guess having an upgraded phone will be a good gift for him.
He always spoil me with so much things ever since so I guess it is payback time. He was actually buying me a phone and in return I will give him one out from my bch earnings. Isn't it great. It will be my first time giving him a gift from my own pocket. And thanks to noise and read because it would be very impossible to do it without them. Just this morning I transferred my earnings here at read and noise on my coins.ph wallet. Right now I have a total of 1.7 bch in it and I will still hold my 1 bch and maybe convert the remaining into our local fiat and buy my husband my anniversary gift.
Our anniversary will be 20 days from now, so I hope I can earn more in replacement to what I am going to convert. I will surely update you about my plan.

There are no secrets that time does not reveal.
Have you experienced keeping a secret to someone like your friend, a relative, or someone you love? Well as for me I guess there were some instances or white lies that I have done over the past years of my life. I ain't perfect and and I do have some flaws and mistakes that I had done in the past. I acknowledge all of it and I knew I had learned some lessons from that mistake. What I am I going to tell about in this article isn't related to me but have something to do with secret or lies. My husband told me about this interesting story about his co worker.
Yesterday, Anthony told me that he received an email regarding his return from work. He was actually surprised that the company is already asking him to go back in April. He was undecided to accept the offer because he wanted to be transfer to other ship together with his brother furthermore, he just came back last February and he wanted to have a longer vacation. The only disadvantage if he refuse the offer would be he might lose the contract and will be on waiting list so he really got no choice. Upon knowing this, he contacted some of his crewmates regarding his loe (letter of employment) or work contract from his company. He had several conversations with some of them. We were just in the living room while he was talking to them. Then suddenly he told me about this particular guy whom he had worked for a long time already. I could say that he has been close to him for sometime because they've been in the same ship together. So let me share some gossip in my article for today.
Eversince Anthony and I had been together he has always been open to me about all the immorality going on inside the ship. He has told me different stories of infidelity going inside the ship that involves his crewmates. But today let us focus first on Noel not his real name though. Noel sent a message to Anthony telling him about a couple id thingy. Apparently Noel has a girlfriend in the ship named Anna not her real name too. One thing I know about this couple id is that married couple together on the ship can be together at a cabin. Same if you have girlfriend or boyfriend inside the ship you can apply for that so that both of you can stay in one cabin. So here is the catch, Anna the girlfriend has been cheating Noel for a long time. While she is in relationship with Noel he has other boy on the side. The girl is from different country while Noel is a Filipino. The third party though came from country where Anna is and a married man. The maritess in me is shaking while my husband is telling me this fresh new chika. After telling me the short story about the couple he then asked me whether to tell Noel about Anna unfaithfulness or not.
What about you? If you are in my husband's shoe what would you do? Anthony was being considerate because he didn't want to tell Noel about it while on board. You might wonder why. The reason is that working on ship is so stressful that having another problem would make it worst. You might not control your emotions, your performance at work would be affected and worst you might lose your job permanently. Performance is very important at their work because your salary will depend on it and it will be ground for your promotions too. So now that both of them are on vacation Anthony ended up telling Noel the truth about Anna. At least he is now on vacation and he can confront Anna about it too. I believe Noel might have been hurt with this revelations but I know he deserve to know the truth and wake up from his delusions that Anna is feeling the same way for him. She is living in another country so we can't really tell what she is up there. Am I being judgemental? Maybe yes because she is being unfair to Noel. If she is serious she wouldn't have another boytoy. Well I don't know her side so I guess I am being unfair to her too.
Closing Thoughts
"No secret can be kept forever" No matter how good you are in keeping it, time will come that it will be revealed and you should always face the consequences of it. We all know about this and eversince we were young our parents would always reminds us about always telling the truth and never keep a secret. Though we can never avoid keeping a secret for some reasons but never make it a hobby. Honesty will always be the best policy.

Pure Randomness on Monday
Hello beautiful humans! It is Monday once again so what do we have here? Well if you asked personally it is another usual day for an ordinary mom like me. I woke up early to prepare breakfast because the kids have online classes. I woke up at around 7 in the morning just before the alarm clock rings. The moment I got out of bed I felt something and it's confirmed my anticipated visitor of the month just came. I was honestly nervous because it was delayed for three days. I started drinking pills 10 days before hubby came home. So last Monday I finished the last pill. I don't have to take pills for the next 7 days but it was the week that I suppose to have my monthly period. Usually it always come on the 4th day I stopped taking pill, but it has been 6 days yesterday and I am still missing it. On Tuesday I am going to resume drinking another batch of it but I am wondering if it safe or not just in case I am already expecting. My original plan before I got one is to purchase pregnancy test before taking pills. It stressed me out over the past weekend. And then I remember what my husband's auntie told him just last week that we should have another child and we just both laugh it out. Although I wanted to have another one because I really missed having baby in the house but I am afraid that I will have a miscarriage again just like on my third pregnancy. It has been almost four years since it happened but I guess the impact of losing our supposed to be third child is still affecting me. And one more thing that scares me a lot is that having baby at my age is considered a high risk pregnancy. So it was such a relief knowing I am safe this morning.
It makes my morning happy because my worries was instantly gone. When I got out of the room the three little musketeers are waiting and keep on coming to me as if they missed me a lot. It has been two nights since we let Lucy and Marley sleep outside the bedroom. On the first night it was a disaster. They keep on barking and knocking on the door. We didn't have a good sleep that night because they keep on disturbing us. It was just like the first time we let Yumi sleep outside the bedroom too. On the second night they were a little calmer, although they still do knock and bark but not too much and we got a proper rest. Although we wanted them to sleep with us but there were times that we are in the middle of our sleep and both of them are awake and playing. They keep bothering us and we had a sleepless nights because of these two cuties. It is also a good chance that they can get along well with Yumi if they are going to sleep outside. So far they are having a good times together. And one time I saw them chasing and playing. It is too precious but then it only lasts for a short time because they start growling at each other once more.
Before lunch time, my husband asked me to come with him to buy dog food at the nearby pet shop. He told me not to cook food for lunch because we can just buy a take out food in the carinderia. I asked my oldest son to cook rice before his online classes began. It was very hot when hubby and I got out of the house. I did bring my umbrella because I don't want some sunburn in my face.(chariz!) While I was at the carinderia, I bought one order each of dinuguan, bicol express and menudo. Before pandemic each order only costs 35 php each but now it's 50 php. I wanted some vegetables unfortunately it wasn't available at that time yet. Meanwhile hubby is at the pet store to buy the dog food as well as the cat food. From time to time our cat Kuring visits us whenever he is hungry that is why we never run out of cat food. Right now he can't get inside our house because Lucy and Marley would always chase him. Poor kitty cat.
Just this afternoon, the kids were out biking. Finally last Saturday my husband took their bike to have it fix. They haven't used it for months and now they're so happy roaming around the village using their bike. Later I will try using my oldest son bike for some exercise. Well if only my laziness won't strike.

Sweet escape away from the city
Hello beautiful and lovely read cash users and friends! Again it took me longer than ever before I can write another article. I wanted to rest myself from stress because of the recent fraud we got base from my last article. Eversince my brother in law came back home, he has been consistently asking the rest of the family to go somewhere so last Thursday night he asked if everyone is okay with Friday since it is a holiday. I want to object at first because my oldest son has an scheduled appointment to the dentist. He needs some tooth cleaning in order to prevent some toothache and decay in the future. But since I think I needed some relaxation I agree with going out on Friday. I asked the dentist who is my husband's cousin by the way to postpone his schedule via messenger and she was okay with it. So then our whole Friday is free that is why our quick escape was planned. We are going to Regina Rica in Tanay. We were there last May 2021 and I also wrote an article about it. As I mentioned on that article that we do visit this place every year. It is a place if you want a peaceful time with the creator. The ambiance most specially its surroundings is something I always look forward too. And lastly the big Mama Mary and baby Jesus on top of the mountain is always the highlight of our visit.
On our group chat my brother in law said that the call time is 6 am so that we can have more time to go to other places. But knowing how lazy we are waking up early we left the house at around 9 am already. We left our dogs inside our house with water and food. We'd like to take them but knowing it's gonna be a long travel it might be harder for us so we got no choice. Besides there are three of them so I am sure it will not be easy, Yumi has motion sickness too so there is a chance that she will vomit from time to time.
The plan Just like our usual routine, we'll meet the rest of the family in the place where we are going to take our lunch. It was indeed a long travel because of traffic along the way. The weather was also hotter than the usual days passed. After we passed on the city proper, the mountains, trees and the blue sky welcomes us. That is one thing I really love about this travel. It was a continuous ride because there was no traffic at all. On our last visit we have to stop every now and then because there were some road construction but this time the whole ride was smooth.
We reached our meeting place before the clock strike at 12 noon. We got there first so my husband went inside the restaurant to order food in advance. A few minutes later the rest of the gang arrived. The location of the restaurant is along the road so a lot of travellers dropped by too. Even though the sky is very clear and the sun is out the weather is cold. The restaurant staffs already knows us maybe because we usually bring a pot of rice whenever we dine in there. We ordered their best selling bulalo, pancit mixed and fried chicken for the kids. We tried out pork binagoongan and sisig too. It was a heavy lunch indeed.
After eating our lunch we roam around the vicinity of the restaurant. There's a resort around it and we're allowed to check it. Last time it was prohibited to go down there. There is a playground for the kids, a swimming pool and there's a hanging bridge. I asked Anthony to try it but he has fear of heights so he refused, I tried it with my son instead. I was already in the middle of the hanging bridge when my brother in law came to try it too. The bridge kept moving and I got scared that I kept holding on the side meanwhile my son is done and is on the other side of the bridge already. When I reached the other side of the bridge I tried the lower bridge to go back. It wasn't that scary compare to the other bridge but I enjoyed both.
We didn't stay for long so we can have more places to go. In 30 minutes or so we finally reached Regina Rica. Health protocols is observed such as temperature check before entering the vicinity. On our last visit face shield is a must but this time only face mask is allowed. There were a lot visitors too compare to last year. We parked the car and started our journey going to the lady on top. It is on the top of the mountain so yeah it was a little tiring going up. Fortunately all the hard effort is worth it once you see Mama Mary and baby Jesus. I don't have much pictures because as of this moment I am using a low quality camera. I let my eyes enjoyed the view of nature on top.
We were suppose to go to the famous Pililia windmill after, but the time didn't allowed us. It was past 3 in the afternoon and going there would take 7 km more. We just enjoy the place and started going down while some were taking pictures. When all of us was tired of walking, we headed back to the parking area and started going home. While on the way home, we had two stopovers. It was cool to look at the nature while you are on top of the mountain. I personally enjoy it because I'll be missing it once we are back home. It was another continuous long drive going home that my eyes keep shutting down. Then hubby asked me for some candies because he felt like sleeping too, I told him I don't have so I just give him some chips. I tried fighting my sleepyness for our safety.
It was already dark when we're back in the busy streets of the city. The road is congested as usual. But we all had a fun for this one day sweet escape from the city. Hopefully next year we can visit the Pililia windmill. In the meantime, time to stay home for a while because my wallet is now empty.

Lost $350 in just a night

It was in the middle of the night when my husband woke me up telling me that someone is trying to send money using the remittance account he was using in sending me money back when he was on board. He was able to cancel it because the remittance application notified him. My sleepiness was gone instantly upon hearing his story. He showed me the transaction history and he checked his wirecard (his salary card) immediately and his balance shows that his money was still there. Upon further checking his account, there's two transaction that push through. The first one is $200 and $150 respectively. Seeing that the transaction has been successful clearly tells us that my husband account was hacked. We eventually got out of bed and trying to figure out what to do next.
He checked his balance again and it was confirmed that he was hacked and that certain amount of money was successfully transferred by hackers via gcash. My heart was beating fast because I was very angry of whoever the person behind these suspicious transactions. He was trying to contact the customer service but it wasn't successful because he is now back in the Philippines unlike when he was in the US he can call the hotline easily. I can tell that my husband is a little frustrated. He contacted his Filipino co worker on board and mentioned about the hacking incident. His friend promised to relay his concerns at their office.
Another friend from his work who is now back in the country who was still awake at that time told him to send his remaining balance because the hackers might do another transfer until his balance runs out. He tried sending the money on my name but unfortunately it didn't push through. With that I asked him to close his account but he was not saying a thing unless we can contact his company bank's customer service. This was actually not the first time that someone has hacked his account. Last time the hacker took $1000 dollars from his wirecard too. He was on board that time that was why there was an immediate response from the office and his money was transferred back to him.
After the unsuccessful attempt contacting the customer service of their company bank, I searched via internet how to call international call using our local network provider. I immediately load up his mobile number a 100 php worth of idd calls. He dialled up the number again by adding 001 at the beginning of contact number and finally it was connected to the customer service. He reported the fraud incident using his account and the customer service transferred his concerns to the appropriate department that could handle his problem. After confirming some information from my husband, they close his account and told him the things he needed to be done. There was an assurance from the customer service that there wouldn't be more indecent transactions because his account was no longer active. Now he needed to contact his company financial office so that they can make another account and send him his new account wirecard. His remaining balance would be transferred back in his new account and hopefully the lost $350 too.
Closing Thoughts
Because of online hackers many of us have been victimized losing a certain amount of money. I remember last year that many clients from this certain bank has lost their hard earned money from their mobile banking. Now the question is how safe does our money from these applications. The amount of money that was gone in my husband's account may not that big for some but he worked very hard to earn it and this cruel hackers easily got it in seconds. I just hope that there could be a better protection for our money which we enrolled in this kind of applications. Though it makes the transactions convenience and easy it also makes the hackers life easily without being caught.

I am a new mommy of two
For those who are following me in my noise account would probably knew what I am talking about being a new mother. Well I definitely would like to have a new child specially a baby girl, but I am now on my risky age to concieve that is why I am already okay with my two boys. Anyway, there is indeed a new member in my little family. Not just one but two cutie pie doggos.
A week ago my husband's cousin told us that if we wanted a new dog she can give us one. They actually had 4 dogs in their house. The breed is princess type shih tzu and since it is for free who are we to decline. Then last Friday we fetched her at her office in Cubao to take her home and well to get the dogs she promised to give us. My husband Anthony as well as his other brothers is very close to Ate Diane. Before we took her home she treated us to a nice and delicious dinner. The meal was so good and all of us have a happy tummy.
We spent at least more than an hour at the restaurant before we decided to go out. When we arrive at Ate Diane's humble abode the four dogs greets us with non stop barking. What a nice welcome right? Well it's normal because it was the first time we meet the dogs. Personally after seeing them I am a little hesitated whether to get them or not. But their cuteness takes away all of my doubts. We stayed their for a while so we can get to know of the dogs we are about to adopt. We met Chloe the mother, her 3 babies namely Lucy, Luna and Marley. We were supposed to get only one but according to them we have to get two of them so that they won't be lonely and will easily adapt in our place. So we got Lucy and Marley along with their immunization card.
These cutie doggos were very nice when we travelled back home. Our problem started when we got inside our house. Both of them were so aloof and went under our dining table. When I tried to get them, Marley is growling like he was ready to attack me. Honestly I was scared because in my whole life I have never been bitten by a dog yet. The night was getting late so we left them downstairs and see what will happen the next morning.
On the next morning, when I went down both of them keeps barking at me. I tried to scold them but then they never stopped and when I tried to reach them they both went under the table again. It was actually frustrating, then I remember Ate Diane told us that we can feed them bread. I got a bread on my hand and started feeding them. That do the tricks because after that they started to loosen up and I can hold them little by little. Another interesting facts about these two cuties is that they only eat boiled banana or potato along with dog foods. They don't eat meat or chicken which is very unlikely to our dog Yumi.
For the whole day I feed them with that and they are behaving a little nice than the other night. I can already carry them without being scared of being bitten. When it was sleeping time, another problem arised. They don't want to be left outside so we got no choice but to let them sleep inside our bedroom. We weren't able to sleep because they keep on barking as if asking to let them sleep inside. Well according to Ate Diane Lucy and Marley are sleeping in their room too so yeah I guess that would be our new set up for now.
The following days are far different because of Lucy and Marley. I have mentioned from my past articles about our pet Yumi the sweetest dog ever. Now that we have two additions in the family she seems to not like the idea. Although she likes them both but Lucy is a little jealous whenever Yumi is beside me or Anthony. They always had a clash and I guess Yumi lose all her patience. She usually doesn't mind having dogs around but sometimes Lucy get on her nerves too that's why they never got along well. Marley and Yumi on the other hand is very cool.
As of this moment the three doggos are behaving nicely. I hope they stay like that so that we can have a peaceful day. Honestly I have started loving Lucy and Marley that is why I hope Yumi can get along well with them soon. It would be really good if that would happen because if it is not, we might return Lucy and Marley to Ate Diane which I don't want to.
Having a new dog feels like being a new mom. I have to attend to their needs so that they can adjust from their new place and well get to know the people in the house too. We have to expose them from outside world and people so that they won't easily get distracted whenever we have visitors. So yeah I will be sharing more about them in my future articles. Celebration for 12 years of life and happiness
Hello there everyone! I have mentioned from my past articles that this month my oldest son will turn 12 years old. And yesterday it was officially celebrated with a bang. Let me share in this article on how we celebrated it.
My husband is a wanna be chef so in every celebration in our house he wanted to cook everything, while me on the other hand wanted it fast and no hassle so I prefer on delivery food application. Don't get me wrong I love cooking too but sometimes when my laziness strikes I would rather take the convenient and easy way. But yesterday it was different because I know I am not alone and the two of us can make the task and cooking more efficiently.
In the morning, my husband and I went to the nearby wet and dry market to but the stuffs we needed for our simple menu. We bought pork, and liver as well as potatoes and carrots for the menudo. We also had chicken, ground pork and ground chicken which I will be using for my chicken shanghai. We make sure not to miss any single ingredients that is why I made a list before going to the market. It was already lunch time when we were done that is why we bought a take out food for our lunch. We took the tricycle going home.
We ate our lunch and after that my husband and I started preparing because our visitors will come by 5 or 6 pm. I prepare lumpiang shanghai, while hubby prepared for the menudo. We only had a one burner gas stove because we're planning to buy a gas range few years ago but up until now it never happened. Well the advantage of using a one burner gas stove is that our LPG often lasts for more than two months even though I cook our food everyday. The disadvantage though is that whenever we have a celebration, the cooking time took longer, so to make our cooking time faster my husband charcoal stove so we could finish in time.
Around 5 pm we were almost done cooking the foods. I asked my kids to take a bath because anytime the visitors are coming. I arranged the food in the table and took a bath too. By that time I was able to get a hold of my phone finally. That is one reason why I wasn't been active yesterday and was able to read a few articles. At 6 pm the my brother in law came along with their cousin. Well actually we only expected few visitors which we usually invite whenever there's a party in our house. Unfortunately the other family can't come because there is no one to fetch them. The other one is my sister in law's family. She has a lot of siblings which I had already known ever since they were in grade school. Now her youngest brother is already in college. Only two of her siblings didn't come because the other one is living in San Mateo and is pregnant but her two kids were present. Her other brother is the one left at home to take care of the dogs.
My father in law lead the prayer and after that we all sings a happy birthday song to my Aaron. And well you know what happened next. It's eating time.
It was a night full of never ending story while my boys are busy playing with their cousin and cousins at heart. ( the kids of my sister in law sister) They grew up almost together that is why they are like cousins. They went home at around 1 in the morning already. It was a very tiring day but just like our usual gathering we had fun every seconds that we together.

Happiest birthday little one, oops you are no longer the baby boy I used to take care of. In fact, in just a few months you'll be taller than me. I still can't that this is your last year of being a kid because by next year you are officially a teenager. Am I ready for that. Oh no I guess I am not. If only I could keep you as a baby forever but reality hits me hard that time really flies. I just wish you grew up a good boy and may all your dreams come true in the future. Meanwhile I hope you enjoy your life without being pressure. And I, along with your daddy and Athan will always be here and support you no matter what. Love you so much kuya!

It's time to play
One thing I really do missed about this pandemic thingy is that going to the mall. I can't go to the mall even though I wanted to it is because my kids aren't allowed inside. And last year when children are allowed already I was a little bit hesitant to do so. In short I haven't been in the mall for the past months like I used to do before the pandemic started. My little family loves playing arcade games so I could tell that the kids were missing the fun they always had staying at the mall.
But guess what? The long wait was over. On Wednesday afternoon at around 5 in the afternoon, Anthony took us to the mall and well, the kids were so delighted upon hearing that they're going to play some arcade games. The mall near us took only a 10 minutes ride. When we got inside it, there's only few people unlike the last time we've been there. We arrived at Tom's World, finally after two years of missing it. Upon entering the establishment you can see that they are following some healthy protocols. I immediately went to the cashier to check if my Tom's World points card is still valid. If I remember it correctly we've earned a huge point on our last visit. I am also worried that the points we've earned last time would be forfeited because of not using it. Fortunately when I swiped it the points came out which means I can still use it in exchanging some items on their counter. After that, Anthony exchanged 100 php into peso coins because we're going to play our favorite piso game. I have mentioned about this on my past article. You just needed to drop one peso coin into machine and it will push the other coins at the bottom. If some coins drop tickets will come out too. It is actually addicting that if you don't have control, you may run out of money.
We also buy some tokens for the kids wanted to play games that requires token. So while me and Anthony were busy playing the peso games the kids were busy minding their own games. We don't have to worry about them being lost because the area isn't that big so if in case we lost them, we can easily find them.
When we run out of coins I stopped playing it even though I wanted to play. I counted our tickets and we got 220 tickets so I think that was enough for that day. We also got 50 tickets bonus so that makes 270 tickets added to our previous points. Since we still have tokens, I accompanied my husband in playing his favorite arcade games. The machine looks like a pinball game where you pushed a button and when the ball falls down to a respective number that match the winning numbers you'll be rewarded with few tokens. So we stayed there until his token runs out.
I was looking for the kids and saw them watching basketball. They definitely missed it and they were so enthusiastic. After they were done, I went with them to the candy crane. Unfortunately the one they had isn't working so I let them choose what to do with their last token.
I think we spend more than an hour inside Tom's world just in time to have our dinner. We took our dinner at Savory. On weekdays they have this bundle promo that is good for 4 people. Anthony ordered it, the package includes garlic chicken, stirfry noodles, shanghai and a bowl of crab and corn soup. It also comes with rice and drinks. And maybe because we're all hungry we finished it all.
It was indeed a fun day like we used to do. It is great that we were able to experience it after more than many months have passed. Although this time it was quite a little different because the store needs to follow safety measures to insure the safety of their guests. And as a guests or customers we should never neglect following these things for the sake of everyone's safety.
