One more quality time with my family
Yesterday, I wasn't able to post an article because I wanted to give myself a break. Weh? Hahaha! Well, the truth is, since it was Sunday my in laws family were scheduled to visit my late mother in law, like we usually does every Sunday. Personally I don't want to go out that time because I am pretty worried about my son's situation. He just had his circumcision last Friday, so it means that the wound is still fresh, but you know the most handsome in the house beg to disagree. He told me that he would take care of our son. Well since he assures me that nothings bad going to happen to our son, I finally agreed in the end. We missed the family gathering last Saturday, but I guess it was a good decision to take a rest.
On Sunday though, my son's is okay with going out since his wound is not bothering him at all. I guess the medicine that he intake helps a lot for him to recover well. He just can't walk properly and he promised to just sit the moment we arrive at the cemetery. We left our home around past 5 in the afternoon, I wonder if we could reach the cemetery by the time it closes. Imagine we're from Caloocan and the cemetery's location is in San Mateo. I don't know what magic my husband did because as usual I was sleeping while he was driving. I am just a sleepyhead. I woke up when we were already in Batasan, and in just a few more minutes we've arrived at Paraiso Cemetery just before it closes at 6 pm.
The rest of the family arrived first, and when we got out of the car, they happily teased my oldest son for being circumcised finally. My son just answer them with a smile on his face. What I really like about staying on the cemetery is the beautiful sunset. Most of my sunsets picture posted on my noise account were taken over there. I don't know what's so special yesterday because the sky gave us another wonderful view. According to hubby it is similar to aurora sky which he witnessed in Alaska last year. Though not perpectly the same but it has the same vibe, it was my first to see something like that too in my whole existence. As you know, one of my ultimate dream is to witness a live aurora sky in Sweden but I know it is quite impossible. I am fascinated with all the beauty I see on sky like clouds, stars, planet and the moon. Capturing the wonderful view yesterday seems like a dream come true. Ganern!๐
When the darkness takes over the day, we went out of the cemetery and went to the place near Timberland to eat some snacks. I am not sure if you can call it a snacks since it was almost 7 in the evening. There's this special eatery that we usually goes to because of their nice ambiance and tasty foods. Their location is on top of the hill that is why it is better to go there at daytime if you want to appreciate the nature surrounds you, however on that particular time we only wanted to appreciate the foods. We ordered pancit, okoy (lumpiang toge) and lomi. We finished it all, while having a non stop conversation about this and that. The next stop was, Marikina Riverbanks.
It was 830 in the evening when we arrived at Marikina Riverbanks. We actually been there a week ago to eat at Dampa Station, then looked around at the tiangge nearby. We bought some good quality shirts that costs $2 each. We told the rest of the family about it and they agreed to do the same. I accompany my sons and just waited for the rest to finish their shopping. It wasn't boring at all since I can hear some good music from a live band nearby. After they were done, the boys got a massage session, while the girls seated on the grass while looking at the people doing their thing. I am reminiscing the time when my husband and I used to date here a lot. When I say a lot, I can no longer count how many times since we don't have enough money that time. I am a student while he is a part time hotel waiter. Dating there saves us a lot of money and at the same time keeps us a lot of memories. The feelings were just surreal to remember.
We stayed there at least more than an hour and when we checked the time, it was already 1030 in the evening. It was time to go home. We haven't taken our dinner yet, so they were inviting us to have our dinner in Quezon City, but I refused because it was late already and the kids will have an online class the next day. We bid our goodbyes to them, as we get inside the car. We got back at Caloocan at around 1130 in the evening, we dropped by at Minute burger to buy some that will serve as our dinner at the same time midnight snack. And then few minutes more, we arrived at home tired, sleepy, hungry but most of all happy. It was indeed another quality time spent with family.
Thanks for reading my story time that happened on Sunday. I would like to inform you that I am so happy for all the likes, upvotes and comments you left on my post. ๐
