My husband is leaving and going back to work in 10 days
About two months ago, I can still remember that I also wrote about my husband going back home. I was so excited for that day because I miss him dearly even though we were talking almost everyday while he was miles away from us. Although we were in this kind of relationship set up for many years, I can still stop missing him and wished that he could just work here. If only the salary he will get working away from us will be closer to what he will get here, however reality bites me.
The reason why our loved ones decided to work abroad because of the higher salary they will receive than working here. Even some professionals such as doctors and nurses preferred to work in other country to provide more for their family. In fact, according to my friend who is living in NY now, there is a high demand for Filipino nurses in America right now, so she was suggesting me to let my kids take medical courses in the future so that there is a big chance for them to be in America too.
Going back to our main topic, last month my husband received his new ship assignment however he requested for a ship transfer because he doesn't want to be back in his old ship, fortunately it was granted. Then on the last week of March he received another message from their scheduler asking if he was willing for an early sign on which was schedule on April 3. He ignored it of course, because he wanted to spend more time with his family and waited for his original schedule which is April 17.
Last Monday morning, when he checked his account at their company website, his pending documents was already approved hence his other documents such as POEA contract is ready for printing. He was notified to pass the documents on or before April 9. Then on afternoon, while he was out of the house he asked me to print his pending documents, so I did what I told to do. I am glad our printer is doing good after we brought it to the technician a few days back.
Just this morning, he decided to pass all of his documents to the office. Initially, he wanted to bring it personally, however the price of gas is very expensive and their agency office is far from us, that is why he decided to send it via LBC. He went to the nearest lbc branch but when he came back, he told me that it will take 2 to 3 days before the documents could reach the office, so I suggested to send it via Lalamove since they have a same day delivery. I opened my lalamove account and booked it right away. The rider arrived in just 10 minutes and took the documents. My husband give some instructions and after an hour or more, it has arrived to its destination. I guess it was a great decision because it saves my husband time and the stress he might get from the traffic plus he can still play his favorite game on his phone.
Now what is next? The office will send those documents to the POEA (Philippine Overseas Employment Administration) to have it approved and after it was approved the hr will notified my husband that his paper/documents are ready for pick up. Those documents are very important because you cannot leave the country without it.
Right now, since it is raining hard outside we prefer to stay at home. We still have 10 days before his flight on April 15, so I guess we'll gonna make the most of it by being together. We were planning on going somewhere before he leaves. I am just hoping and praying that God will protect him and give him the strength he needed while away from us.
That would be all for today. Let me take this opportunity to give thanks for these lovely souls in renewing their sponsorship @itsmeCguro @Thania05 and @Itsfarah Thank you guys for the love and trust. More bch earnings to all of you.❤
