I have decided to have my first dose of COVID vaccine later (via walk-in in a mall) not because I trust or I believe the process but because our office is monitoring their employees as to those who have been vaccinated already. Honestly, at this time, I still feel I have no right to decline as I am being forced to do something that I do not want to do. I know I need to be vaccinated, maybe someday, soon, but not really right now.

A good day in Philippine Boxing in Tokyo Olympics. Earlier, Eumir Marcial secured a bronze medal after a TKO on Arman Darchinyan. It started with a standing 8 count due to heavy body shots then a right hook, a body shot and and a killer right hook knocking the Armenian down. Mga kababayan, live pong nagaganap ngayon ang Men's Pole Vault sa Tokyo Olympics kung saan ay naka-advance na sa 5.8m round ang ating pangbato na si EJ Obiena. Hindi niya na "clear" ang unang dalawang attempt sa pole vault ngunit pigil-hininga tayong lahat kanina sa pangatlong attempt niya kung saan ay nalagpasan niya ang 5.7m na bar. Kapit bayan at sabay sabay muli tayong mag cheer at manalangin para sa tagumpay ni Obiena!

Suspendido po ang mga laro sa PBA simula ngayon dahil sa tuloy-tuloy na pagtaas ng cases ng COVID-Delta Strand. Wala pang announcement kung kelan ang resumption ng laro.

Tuloy po ang laban ng mga kakabayan nating boksingero na sila Carlo Paalam at Eumir Marcial. Isang gintong medalya ang makukuha natin kapag nanalo sila sa kani-kanilang laban. Ngunit silver naman kapag matalo.

When pre-audit gives you headaches, it only means auditors are pushing you to have better standards and higher qualities in terms of processes and systems. But reality is, it's always nice to take a rest after audit because everybody knows, the real work starts once the audit results are released.

My heart melts after hearing criticisms in work but no matter how much I take it constructively, there's this something in me that takes the challenge to defy and prove those criticisms wrong.

Ang huling laro sa PBA ay noong August 1 bago magdedisyon ang pamunuan na suspendihin ang mga laro dahil sa pagdami ng COVID cases.

Done with my the first safety audit for this year. Not as difficult as other kind of audit since safety should be everybody's responsibility.

After safety audit, now comes security audit. Definitely it will be more tedious than the earlier audit since it covers physical and information system. My braincells are starting to drain. Need to ensure loopholes and vulnerabilities are captured to close these gaps. Goodluck to me. haha!

Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) will be implemented in NCR/Metro Manila and Laguna effective tomorrow, August 21 to August 31 as announced by Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) last night. Hopefully, this can ease up the financial needs of the people so businesses can open slowly.

Donaire-Casimero fight might happen before the year ends. According to reports, both camps are already in talks to make the fight happen.
