Just saw the replay of UP's performance in UAAP's cheerdance competition. Now I understand how they lost. Sana gumawa na lang din sila ng political statement kung ganon lang din naman ang magiging performance. I understand their sacrifices and that they put all their energies and exerted a lot of effort but they could have done something else.

I was 2 years old in 1986 when my father took me outside to a street of crowded people. He then carried me and put me on his shoulders and I saw flood of people wearing yellow, talking and cheering. I saw some kids maybe of same age as mine too. That was my memory of EDSA People Power. Now, unfolding into us is a reality of historical revisionism through misinformation, disinformation and mal-information. The 1986 People Power we had was our avenue to fight against what was wrong. Now, on a digital age, EDSA can be any social media platform where we need to fight against the wrong information being bombarded to us. It is with us now to escalate the spirit of EDSA People Power to the digital age!

WORDLE: An online word-guessing game. I just got to know Wordle when I was on leave from office after getting caught of COVID-like symptom. It is an online word-guessing game where you need to guess a five-letter word in 6 tries. Once you guess a word, the system will also tell you if you have guessed a correct letter and if that letter is in correct position. From there, you can think of what the word is. If you correctly guessed it or unsuccessfully guessed it after 6 tries, you have to wait until the following day to play again as words refreshes daily. Getting ready to watch "The Jessica Soho Presidential Interviews". Hope this will help voters make the right choice this coming election.

I feel relieved after receiving the result of RT-PCR. I can now go back to work after almost 1 week. Office policy requires either to have a swab test, take 14-day quarantine or request for medical certificate after being absent or after catching COVID-like symptoms. I asked for a medical clearance from my doctor but I was required to have a swab or atleast continue the 14-day quarantine before issuing "fit to work" medical certificate but now that I have a document showing that I am not COVID infected, I can likely go back to work starting Monday.

My Parenting Mantra: "I will never pressure my children to be the best but will always encourage them to be better... than the best!" :) Good morning! We are now 15/365.

I rarely get sick but now I am. Body temperature already increased to 38.5 deg C from 37.5 deg C. It's a bad time to be sick because one is subjected to be COVID infected. I believe I caught fever due to hot weather outside while doing outside works and once I get inside the office, aircon is at full and temperature is cold.

So, tapos na ang "BER" months. Ready na tayo sa "O" months: EnerO - O, wala na akong pera! PebrerO - O, single pa din ako! MarsO - O, summer na pero ang taba ko!

Bad effect of eating a slice of cake and soda around 9PM - awake until now. Already past 12AM and I'm still awake. :(

Day 1: Leave the past, live the present and lead the future!

One of our on-going project today is the tank preventive maintenance where cleaning is part of it. After two days of hard work, our team completed the activity and the tank is now scheduled to undergo "swab test" before using again and going back to normal operations. Since I work in a food-grade manufacturing organization, "swab test" of the tank is a requirement and I just can't express my nervousness while it was being swabbed because if it failed, we need to re-do the whole process. Thankfully, we did good the first time! Quality work the first time - first time, only time is quality! :)

One thing I learned about making New Year resolution is to make it SMART - Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time-bound. So, as 2022 starts to knock, let the new US think and prepare for a SMART resolution. Good morning!

362/365: 3 more days to flip the page before the year ends. Generally, this is a better year compared to last year's COVID-plagued year. Hope in no time next year, we can gradually go back to normal. Hope is all we can do for now but we need to take actions. Good morning!

Just saw Jollibee's "One Perfect Pair" mini movie starring John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo and their lines were somewhat like normal talk, real talk and not too scripted. Maybe, it's their chemistry that still gives us this nostalgic moment considering we were from a generation of Popoy and Basha. Upon signing earlier, I realized that today's date, if written in this manner - 12/1/21 is a palindrome and guess what, tomorrow, 12/2/21 up to 12/9/21 will still be a palindrome. We'll have another in 12/11/21 and in 12/22/21. May we have lucky sequences during these days. :)

Day 334 of 2021 is almost done. Thirty one more days to go before 2022 and this year, so far has been better than 2020. Still have a few days to complete our plans for this year, 334/365. Goodluck!

A crazy weekend in Philippine politics. After withdrawing her mayoralty candidacy last Friday, the president's daughter declared her VP candidacy yesterday, November 13. She's a substitute for an unknown candidate LAKAS-CMD Party fielded for the post. This prompted the withdrawal of Bato Dela Rosa's presidential candidacy who earlier said that his presidential bid is serious and not making a mockery in the election process by being substituted after. Meanwhile, Bong Go withdrew his VP candidacy as well only to join the presidential race encouraged and endorsed by President Duterte. Lastly, wait until tomorrow if President Duterte will file his VP candidacy in COMELEC to be Bong Go's running mate. If true, this would mean that the elder Duterte will race against her daughter for the VP post. God bless our country!

After trading Arwind Santos, rumors are circulating that Alex Cabagnot is next to be traded. Looks like SMB is on their way to rebuilding their future.

Don't beLIEve in LIE. How ironic that the word LIE is in the word BELIEVE. In our high technology culture today where fake news is widely spread in the internet through different social media platforms, it is very important to fact check things and not to believe outright if we receive information from the internet unless the sources are credible.
