"Always expect the unexpected".
It's a saying that goes over years but still cannot be avoided.
The COVID-19 had brought too much breakdowns to everyone - starting from those who are infected, our heroes who are the frontliners, and to all the people who are struggling to survive in their daily life basis.
This pandemic affected the different sectors especially the EDUCATION. Here in the Philippines, the Department of Education have rescheduled the opening of classes to October 5, 2020, for the safety of the students from kinder to senior high.
Unfortunately, we, the college students under Commission on Higher Education, known as CHED, have started our online class last August 10. It was quite uncomfortable, but we have no choice.
The first two weeks of our online class was alotted for surveys or concerns of the students regarding the internet connectivity and availability of resources. Few of my classmates are problematic about this current situation because of their poor connection. They are struggling everyday to find enough signal to join meetings, or download modules.
Yes, we have some rants and concerns, but I realized that we are not the only ones who are suffering and having the difficulty. Our professor also the same.
Most of my professor are not familiar with technologies, but they are also trying their best to meet us, to comply our needs, to teach us and to not abandon us. I SALUTE ALL THE TEACHERS AND PROFESSORS OUT THERE.
If you are also a student, respect them. They needed it more than those valued projects we submit.
I have downloaded several online apps that we use during online discussions and meetings. Sometimes, my connection is good, sometimes bad. That's our biggest problem.
I hope, everything will be back to normal like we used to be.
