The Beauty of the Philippines

I'm not active here for a days. Just because of my diabetic condition and my skin asthma. I have hard time to focus in writing an articles. But, I just try'n my best.

I want to share how beautiful the country I grew up. And that is the Philippines. In this article I called it as “LAKBAY-SANAYSAY” or also called “travel essay or travelogue”. Which refers to the essay in which our idea comes from the places we visited or explaining some of the culture, experiences, beautiful places, foods or other things that we can see in the places we wanted to write an essay about it.

As a Filipino, I am really proud of our country. The beauty of it, (mga kayaman), foods and other various beautiful sights of the country where I was born.

The Philippines is known as a country with the various ethnic groups and cultures that we can find in every corner of the country. The Philippines is an original member of the United Nations. The official Republic of the Philippines is an independent state and archipelago country in Southeast Asia located in the western part of the Pacific Ocean. We all known that it consists of 7,641 islands divided into three clusters of islands namely: Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Which we can see as the symbol of the three stars in our Philippine flag. The capital city of our country is Manila and the most populous city is Quezon City; pawing part of Metro Manila.

Now, let's travel and tour the beauty of the Philippines!!

Did you know that when you come or visit here in the Philippines, all the people or Filipinos here are really maka-tao, maka-Diyos, makakalikasan at makabansa… (You will never get lost here, because wherever you go in the Philippines, the Filipinos are always ready to guide you and greet you with a warm greeting). Agree mga kababayan?

Because, it is one of the characteristics of the Filipino to be helpful. What we usually call this one is bayanihan.

Bayanihan is usually an event when there is a big task to be done in a short time. Everyone works together to make the difficult task easier. This is usually done during the planting and harvesting season and when moving a house to another location.

Some of the beautiful sights that you should definitely visit here in the Philippines, when you want to relax and enjoy the clean beaches are:

PALAWAN and BORACAY. This are the two of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

----Palawan is located in Puerto Princesa City. Clear turquoise waters, epic limestone cliffs, and fine sand can be found here. Puerto Princesa really boasts their Underground River which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site; Big and Small Lagoons of El Nido; and Kayangan Lake of Coron. Due to the beauty of this province, it has been nominated several times as the Best Island in the World by several International travel magazines.

-----Boracay is famous as one of the most beautiful islands in the world. The sand on Boracay’s White Beach is pearly white and powdery! The water is shiny cerulean in color! Boracay is also famous for its fun nightlife.

Many tourists want to go here. So, All I can tell to you is that you really need to visit here if you are going to the Philippines, so that you can really discover its beauty. There are so many more beautiful places you can visit here in the Philippines. In parts of Batanes, in Cebu, Ifugao, Bicol, Siargao, Zambales, Bohol, Vigan and so many other beautiful places.

Now, we will go to the beautiful scenery of the Philippines. Some examples of these sights are the:

----Mayon Volcano which is conical in shape because it is very sharp.

----Taal Volcano, a volcano that is in the sea and the former member of the “7 Wonders of the World”. The very small volcano but dangerous.

----The Hagdan-hagdang Palayan or the Banaue Rice Terraces.

The Philippines is full of islands that possess many beautiful scenery because the Philippines is an archipelago. The Philippines is so beautiful, that no matter where you go, you will stop to take a pictures. There is no need to ask how to encourage tourists to come to the Philippines, because of the beautiful places here. Hehe. Also, the traditional foods here are so delicious. Mabubusog ka talaga sa murang halaga.

In Miss Angeline Quinto's song which is, "Piliin mo ang Pilipinas", she expresses the beautiful scenery that is visited as well as the culture of every Filipino.

Not only will you discover beautiful scenery, you will also be amazed at the culture, customs and delicious foods of the Filipinos.

So what are you waiting for! Come on, let’s travel and tour the beauty of the Philippines! PROUD PINOY!! IT’S MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES !!
