The stuffed braid is ideal as an appetizer and dinner. It is easy to make, from sourdough, you choose the filling yourself and weave the strips. It is not some wisdom and art and it is easy to prepare and it tastes fantastic.
Components:
500 ml of milk
40 g of yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon salt (maybe a little more)
900 g of flour
100 ml of oil
2 egg yolks
sesame for sprinkling
Charging:
I did not measure the weight, it seems to be small in the photo, but it was quite enough, the procedure can be clearly seen in the photo.
I put cream cheese, 250 gr on three braids, grated 3 strips of salami, so I grated the cheese and sprinkled it with ketchup.
It's just one suggestion and you can combine the flavors you want.
Preparation:
Dip yeast and sugar in warm milk and leave to stand for the yeast to soak.
Shake half a measure of flour in a bowl, then add with, mix.
Add the remaining yeast, 1 egg yolk, and almost all the oil, leave 2 tbsp.
Mix with a spoon to combine everything well, then add flour to knead a soft and smooth dough.
Drizzle with the rest of the oil and let stand and soak for 30 minutes.
Shake the sourdough on a work surface sprinkled with flour and mix, then divide into 3 parts.
stretch one part into a rectangle and cut the ends diagonally with a knife.
Leave the middle and apply the filling on it, then wrap it by intertwining strips, koa braid, left and right (picture)
Do the same with all three tests.
Finally, coat with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds and leave to soak for 20 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake until golden brown.
