What Vaccines are and Where they come from
Since the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have seen how in the news, social networks, and the media in general, have been talking about the vaccine to stop this terrible virus,2020 was a year where we heard the most about vaccines, however, there is a story that is not told explicitly, and is obvious, which is why in Virtual Variety, we tell you how this wonderful idea came about that has saved the lives of millions of people, since it was implemented as a method to end some viruses and diseases.
Before we get into the subject, and talk about how the vaccine came about, let's know, what are the Vaccines? In a few words, we can say that the Vaccines are a drug, which are applied intravenously, containing different ingredients in liquid form, among them are pieces of the virus or bacteria against which it protects us. Vaccines are the best method to be prevented and to reinforce our immune system, without it we are totally naked before any pathogen, we have to point out, that every vaccine needs to be approved for its use in humans.
In the year 1795, smallpox plagued all of Europe, and there were already a hundred deaths from this terrible disease, an English doctor named Edward Jenner, worked in a rural town in the west of England, visiting farm families, who contracted different diseases by being in contact with animals, in these visits Doctor Jenner realized something was happening, The women on the farms who had close contact with the cows managed to catch smallpox, but this made them immune to smallpox. Such was their curiosity that they began to conduct clinical trials and in-depth research until May 14, 1796, when they began to experiment with a 7-year-old boy infected with smallpox, a young man named James Philips, who did not have much hope of life until Dr. Philips. Edward, extracted some secretion from a farmer who suffered a wound caused by a cow that had bovine smallpox.
After 15 days, after having performed the test on the young James, he injected him again with a little pus from another farmer who had smallpox. The result was that a young man who was immune to smallpox did not become ill again, and it was proven that inoculating the germ, or as it is currently called, vaccinating, triggered a defensive action in our body: "An enquiry into the causes and effects of Variolae Vaccinae, known by the name of cow pox". With this report, without knowing it, this great physician managed to change the history of the world, he began to produce several vaccines, with which he vaccinated many people for free, and thanks to this, lives were saved. Countries like France began to accept the ideal, and produce the same vaccines to save their citizens, according to the data of those times, in France more than 15,000 people died each year from smallpox, in Germany more than 70,000 and in Russia more than 2,000,000, it was like being at war, without a doubt, the creation of Dr. Jenner changed the course of the world, and of medicine.
But the true importance of Vaccines came a century later, in 1881 when the great Louis Pasteur, coined the name "Vaccine" in honor of Dr. Jenner. The origin of vaccines is very interesting, and we already understand why their name is similar to that of cows, and that is that thanks to the disease he gave them, the disease he gave to humans was contained or inoculated, times change from that we have no doubt, and many viruses or pathogens have emerged, which continue to be a problem for society, We are very aware of this and even more so in these times, however, there are people who consider that getting vaccinated is very bad, especially when you are a child, something we consider very negative, getting vaccinated saves lives, and even more so in these times, there are many vaccines, but today we are going to try to mention the most relevant ones for the human being.
Triple Virus - One of the most important vaccines for children from 12 to 15 months old, is called triple, because it protects us against 3 diseases which are Measles, mumps and rubella, it is worth mentioning that this vaccine is given between the months of birth, however another dose is given when the child is 4 to 6 years old.
Hepatitis Vaccines - Hepatitis A and B, kill many people annually, and increase the risk of liver cancer, so it is very necessary to always be vaccinated, it is better to prevent than to regret.
DTaP Vaccine - This vaccine gives us immunity to three different bacteria that are responsible for Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis. The first mentioned disease causes respiratory problems and cardiac insipidness, the second one a 5 infected people who are not vaccinated, die at year, and the third one causes pneumonia and brain damage.
As we can notice Vaccines save our lives, keep us protected and are necessary nowadays, although of course we cannot deny that some of them hurt a little, and not everybody is a fan of injections, but we have to make a small sacrifice and more if it is about our health, these are hard times for which we need to take double care, keep ourselves healthy, safe, so if you have the opportunity to get vaccinated do not hesitate, there is a phrase that we will never forget very famous in an advertising campaign that was going on in Venezuela. "It is better to have something and not need it, than to need it and not have it". So it is time to create citizen awareness, especially in our children, we must teach them that injections are not bad, it is important to emphasize that each body is different and we will always have an adverse reaction to each vaccine, but it is normal, the body thinks it is being attacked and seeks to defend itself, but the truth is that you are strengthening your defense system against other viruses.

I'm not as consistently positive about vaccines as you are, but they are great sometimes.Apart from the fact that I'm more critical about overuse of vaccinations, I Iike the article.
