Realistic fly tying Realistic artificial flies are those whose natural counterparts live on the rivers where we fishing. In addition to the identical appearance, focus must be taken with approximately the same size of the imitated insect.

Consumable farmed fish This is a farmed fish from a pond. Just so you know, it's not hooked on a fishing rod. If it protects the heart and blood vessels and helps the function of the brain, and in addition it is rich in essential nutrients and easily digestible, then it is certainly worth it. However, given the nutritional quality of fish as a food, there is no justification for a large number of people eating fish only a few times a year; eg for Christmas Eve. Let us therefore remind ourselves of the moment of grace that fish provides in order to include it in our menu more often. Bon apetit! Crispness gives cornmeal at the end.

The green shades Green shades are magical for grayling fish, just as red shades are deadly for trout. Sweet snacks for a grayling, a big gentleman and a picky Epicurean eater. Slatki zalogaji za lipljena, velikog gospodina i izbirljivca.

Tehnologija napreduje i ljudska mašta nema granice.

Fly fossil in ice cream Insects and small animals are very often trapped in amber for millions of years. Oops, it also happens in ice cream. Insekte i sitne životinje često pronalazimo *zarobljene* u ćilibaru milionima godina.

Laying insect eggs Most insects that have wings lay their eggs in the water of a river, a stream. This is how an imitation of that blop ovum should look like.

@varda42

Thymallus thymallus Lipljen, lipljan, lipen Salmonidna vrsta riba.

Driftwood Driftwood is wood that has been washed onto a shore or beach of a sea, lake, or river by the action of winds, tides or waves. It is a form of marine debris or tidewrack. Photo credit: Reddit.com https://www.reddit.com/ With a small alteration and planing, these pieces of wood were turned into a first aid fishing rod and winch.

Aries in the river I often remember the experience, and it was a decade ago, now it’s funny, but it could have been completely tragic. We went towards the source of the river Neretva, which is almost on the border of *Bosnia and Herzegovina* and *Montenegro*. Summer water, so everyone is thirsty. And plants and animals and people. Flocks of sheep graze around in the gorges of the hill, and the river, like a knife, is clearly separated by a deep gorge into two insurmountable parts. Only every ten kilometers, near the settlement, you can see the cable cars, bridges that connect the villages on the left bank and the stingy pastures for sheep and goats on the other bank of the river. At the moment of crossing a larger flock of sheep, I personally fished just under one such bridge - the cable car. And one big thing followed: PLOP! Boom, plop, rubble! A streak of water splashed across my face. Something fell right at my feet, almost on my head! Photography is of course an illustration. A ram leader fell through the planks on the bridge! One hundred kilos of live weight, it falls from a height of ten meters. It was huge in the air, like that with dry wool on it. When he emerged from the cold river after a few seconds, he was half as small, it seems to me. The wool got wet, stuck to the skin. He's not half! Only then did panic grip me, what if it fell on my head, as it didn't? The first car is only a half hour walk uphill. I can't even imagine what it would be like if it were.

@varda42

Pravi horor. Fish symbolize some contents that live in our unconscious. They are fluid and related to water and therefore are images of our feelings and emotions.

No, ribolovu nije kraj.

About river pollution *I ate catfish liver, pieces of skin fell off, I only miraculously survived* - this is how the fisherman Josip Habota begins his story. I will never forget that day. It was June 1975. The father-in-law caught a large catfish, it weighed 83 kilos, and the liver weighed more than one kilogram. It is otherwise an excellent dish, and is prepared roasted, like pork. My wife was pregnant so what I prepared was not even food, and my father-in-law and mother-in-law just tried it. That is why I ate very well - said Josip. When my skin started to peel, it was like a snake changing. All the skin on my body fell off, it looked like I was burnt. Pieces of skin were falling from my back - says Josip. It lasted for a few days and after that he felt better. The liver organ is a kind of container for all toxins of the organism. So the catfish caught in this way deposited its toxins in the liver, where the substances were supposed to be detoxified and expelled from the body.

*Adult insect Trichoptera.*

Do you think only a pig is voracious? Rainbow trout - kalifornijska pastrmka Trout from a reserve in Alaska broke the record for the number of mice eaten. Gluttonous swallowed as many as twenty mice. Ribe nemaju granica.

CDC is an acronym and means *"duck ass"* *Cul De Canard*. Feathers twitched from the sebaceous glands of a duck or some other waterfowl. Ofarbana pera u trajne farbe.

@varda42

Kiwi color Sometimes imitations of nature in fishing do not have to be in detail. It is important to guess the color and some of the features. Everything else is an “artistic impression”.

My avatar presentation Snufkin He is a philosophical vagabond who wanders the world fishing and playing the harmonica. He carries everything he needs in his backpack, as he believes that having too much stuff makes life overly complicated. Snufkin is easygoing and carefree, and enjoys thinking about things. He always comes and goes as he pleases. He has plenty of admirers in Moominvalley, especially among the smaller and more timid inhabitants. Moomintroll is his best friend and Little My is his half sister. Snufkin is also the son of the Mymble and the Joxter. Snufkin meets every new person and event with curiosity and a warm heart. He enjoys spending time with the Moomins in Moominvalley, but in November he always goes south for the winter, only returning to Moominvalley in the spring. The enigmatic Snufkin does not avoid other people’s company, but he does prefer to travel alone. On his journeys, he explores new places and tries his luck at fishing. Snufkin loves to go wandering at night and especially in the moonlight. He never asks the names of the new places he visits, but simply enjoys the journey itself. Snufkin always wears a dark green hat with a wide brim and a similarly coloured, shabby old coat. He first joins the Moomins on their adventures in the book Comet in Moominland.

Rubber worm The rubber worm is made from rubber bands, usually *preservative* or *medical gloves*, which are now very frequent as waste in a pandemic. It can be said that this hobby is also ECO friendly, it uses old materials. Fly tying is the process of producing an artificial fly used by fly fishing anglers to catch fish.

A wedding in an unusual place Accompanied by their wedding party, fishing guides Kadie Walsh and Dake Schmidt exchange vows in the middle of the Buskin River on Aug. 3 In Kodiak, Alaska. The fishing-themed ceremony included rings carried in the mouths of king salmon, a wedding party carrying fly fishing rods and the couple catching a pair of pink salmon together.

The bat ate the art fly O tome kako je šišmiš pojeo vještačku mušicu Bilo je to jedne jeseni, dok još korone nije bilo ni u mislima, neobično kišan ali topao dan. It was one autumn, a rainy but warm day. In the middle of fishing, the bat got hooked. It took him about ten minutes to untangle it, because with subsequent jerks he untied the string around his wings. This photo is an internet illustration but it was similar situation.

Salmo trutta m. fario Brown trout is a freshwater, brown form of sea trout Salmo trutta. In a sense, this species is a typical representative of the family Salmonidae. It is one of the most famous and widespread freshwater fish. The shape and structure, and to a large extent the color of its body, is extremely adapted to the conditions of the habitat. It is characterized by a relatively large head and large mouth. The jaws and vomer are equipped with sharp teeth. Body color is directly dependent on the place of its residence. Therefore, darker, lighter, olive-brown and similarly colored individuals are encountered. The color of the back is mostly olive brown, while the hips are yellow-green. Dark and red spots bordered by light edges can be seen on the body. The whole body is covered with tiny, thin and round scales (scales). Younger individuals in the first year of life have a dozen dark oval spots on the sides of the body, the so-called. “Youthful attire,” which disappears in old age. Brook trout inhabit mountain watercourses (streams, rivers, and, much less frequently, rivers), which are characterized by cold, clear and clean water rich in oxygen and with weakly expressed temperature oscillations. It inhabits parts of streams - rivers at the bottom and large whirlpools on difficult to access terrain. It reaches sexual maturity in the second or third year of life at a body length of 25-30 cm. Females lay 500 to 3,000 eggs with a diameter of 4.5-5 mm. The average fertility is about 1,500 pieces of eggs per 1 kg of body weight. In the case of brown trout, it is at the time of spawning (November, December, and less often in October or January)

Parachute Fly Parachutes are a relatively new technique in the fly tying world. This middle one in the photo is material from my nephew's soccer ball. One day I stole a nephew’s ball that was already cracked and instead of air inside it was filled with synthetic white material. It turned out to be a great material and there is so much stuff in the ball the size of a fist that I can't spend it for three fishing lives. The advantages of this technique are better visibility of the fly on the surface of the water, better buoyancy. The white feather is independent of the other legs. I call them dandelion because their hairy appearance reminds me of that plant. The advantage of such flies is that they swim better on the water, and their shaggy part protrudes above the calm surface of the water and the angler sees his bait better, sometimes it is a very important detail, to see the fly and be ready to attack the fish. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MW3yMhVxpAM Video credit: InTheRiffle Youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0gE6I-ipn32oawn5lMrIsg Relativno nova tehnika u svijetu mušičarenja. :)
