I would like to share the facts about chocolate. Some people like sweets, including me. Therefore, I want to write article about it.

Here's what I have gathered.

  • Did you know that chocolate is good heart food? Several recent studies, cacao beans are full of phytonutrients, which act as antioxidants and provide additional benefits.

Antioxidants - are substances that may protect your cells against free radicals, which may play a role in heart disease, cancer and other diseases. Free radicals are molecules produced when your body breaks down food or when you're exposed to tobacco smoke or radiation.

  • It is good for the brain. Some studies have focused on chocolates ability to improve cognitive function.

  • A good food mood, I also believe that chocolate can change your mood. (It depends on the people, but for me It really works)

  • Chocolate contains substances that stimulate the brain in the same way cannabis does, such as anandamines, and substances that have similar effects as amphetamine, such as tyramine and phenylethylamine, according to the Darthmouth Undergraduate Journal of Science.

But too much chocolates have health risks. Chocolates is only good when it in moderation. The sugars and fats that are added to the chocolate make it high in calories, which may lead to weight gain. Furthermore, many of the protective effects of chocolate might be mitigated by overconsumption. It can also lead to diabetes.
