Poor Rabbit We're getting milk in the shop and went to the back road instead and saw on our way this rabbit. As always my husband stops the car to check it. If it's dead he moves into the side of the road so it will not be squashed by cars. Thousands of animals got killed on the road each year here in Northern Ireland and foxes, rabbits, blackbirds and hedgehogs make up the five most commonly killed animals wherein badgers account for almost half of all animals that die on the roads in NI. That's according to Project Splatter, a UK wide roadkill research project. And here I witness another rabbit lose its life on the road. You feel sorry when you see one.

same here in czech everyday. deers, wild pig, rabbit, hedge hog. even dogs and cats, and other more. last year a female deer got hit by a car. but before it took its last breath, she gave birth first to twin deers. the babies are now grown up and under a car of a zoo.

im glad you like it. many are hurt and kill by road accidents. many babies becomes orphans because mother died from accident or by hunting expeditions.
Does the rabbit is able to walk momma?
We humans care less for animals but it shouldn't be so because this animals contribute to the ecosystem.
