Fry for Today It seems like the heating of turkey, ham and roast has come to an end. And today my husband requested a fry. I'm also just excited to share my £1 worth it metal mesh splatter guard that is a saviour for my cooking. Lola's Bedtime Smile Tia colours a cat and sticks it into Lola's bed and also gave her the small unicorn to take to bed with her so she will not be scared when she's alone at night. So before I kiss Mum good night she told me to take a picture of her with the unicorn and show it to Tia. Tia comes laughing and kisses her good night. It's Wednesday and kids are back to school! It's freezing, wet and slippery because of the snow last night that couldn't settle because it's too wet. I'm now at work pretty early because I have to go with the kids so my husband doesn't need to go back and forth. We have to save petrol lol, it's getting dear! Momma's Menu For Today I'm back to cooking. No more ham, turkey and roast so back to my normal routine. Today I prepared sliced chicken in peppercorn sauce with mushroom. I was out tonight for a couple of hours. When I come back Tia came running with a big smile, Tia: "Mommy, go to your room. I leave something for you in there." But she run first and handed it to me. First Time in London Train I renewed my passport in the Philippines Embassy in London yesterday and we fly to Gatwick. Shrimp and Ham Carbonara Tia requested for me to make this and also asked to use this twisted pasta you called fusilli. I used Campbell's Cream of Mushroom adding milk and double cream. It's so good! Ham and Cheese Quesadillas Back to cooking after being sick. The kids requested a sandwich but I run out of bread so I made them quesadillas. Guys this is so easy and so delicious. This is my first time trying this and I'm sure I'm gonna make one again. The good thing is you can put your favourite filling in. I would love to try tuna flakes or minced beef quesadillas. For this one, you only need cheese, ham and wrap! Easy peasy. Try it. 😊

It's never the same on everyone's plate when I'm cooking. We all have our own preferences and I'm happy enough to cook what everyone's like even it means it will take more time. Champorado at Night I didn't eat rice today but ended up making champorado because I saw my Kuya in the Philippines sharing it in his story! 😜 Good thing I'm a girl scout. Pork and Shrimp Siomai with Garlic Chilli Sauce My third time making siomai, it's so good so I keep doing it now. Unfortunately, today wasn't great as the wrapper stuck to each other. I didn't do it right. I fried it right away after steaming. Bet ko sya today. And my very own chilli and garlic sauce in soy sauce with lemon! Ay ansarap! Kanin na lang kulang. 😁

Tia and Lola The two sweethearts. Tia is trying to entertain her Lola. Mum was upset the whole day because her legs are sore and she can't do her things. Tia entertains her with a new song and dance while wearing her Christmas jumper. 🤣 She even tells Lola now what she's going to ask Santa for Christmas. Every night before Mum goes to bed while she's in the toilet, Tia and Jigz will sneak in to her room and hide under her bed. Mum will try to find them under the bed using her stick because she can't bend over. You can hear them all laughing oh it's fun. And they will kiss each other good night.
