Food Trip Leftover roast beef for another roast beef dinner today and strawberry pavlova for dessert. They really love potatoes huh? This happened yesterday just outside Tia and Jigz's school. A minibus that had stopped outside the school caught fire. An email was sent to us immediately reassuring us that, although witnessed by some of our P5s and P7s, no child was involved and all are safe. Jigz said they all watched as it goes to flame. Giant Waterslide at High Street It's a fun day in our town today wherein thousands had a go on this giant water slide. We didn't see the whole crowd as I wait for my husband to come home from work. Just finished attending my son's Leavers' Service. Tia was earlier on (P1-P3 Year-End Service). Jigz said they are going to sing "Million Dreams" and they wonderfully did. Leche Flan in a Tray We don't have "llanera" so I use my brownies tray to make this Leche Flan. This is one of many Filipinos favourite desserts. Mum's Happy Place Oh, the smell in this greenhouse is better than any expensive perfume. Look how big our tomato plants have grown. I can't wait to taste test our first harvest this year. Mum still hasn't been here since she was hospitalised so in the meantime I'm the one in charge. And I'm enjoying my VIP seat. Plus the strawberry in the hanging basket are looking well. Last Day of School Oh here we go again. I still remember when we take them to school for their first day in P2 and P7 and today is their last day for this term. Time flies.
