Is Revolut Metal Card Worth Getting? **I used to use Binance if I want to make a GBP withdrawal to my UK Bank Account using Faster Payments. It's instant, no hassle and I'm very satisfied with it. The only thing is Binance suspend withdrawals to UK customers using Faster Payments. That's the reason why I have to switch to Coinbase.** Not really switch but if I want to make withdrawals I have to send my coins to Coinbase which is not ideal for the transaction fees. Then I see that Binance has another option for GBP withdrawal which is via Visa Bankcard. My problem is I don't have a Visa card, all of my cards are Mastercard. Then I search for App where I can apply for a Visa card and came across **Revolut**. I love the fact that after installing the app, signing up, taking a selfie and uploading needed documents, my account was verified in just minutes. That was fast! And what I like about is that I can already use the virtual card. Wait there's more they have a disposable virtual card that you can only use once if you aren't sure or if you need extra protection on where are you going to use it. So even if you're details are exposed your account will remain safe. That's cool! I install this so I can use it in Binance, let's see if Binance accept it as I tried my other cards and all are not supported. Because I'm stupid I keep trying Mastercard when it clearly states Visa. And voila! That's a good start. That's just my virtual card in my account. I haven't ordered a physical card yet because I have made up my mind if I'm going to just try the basic first or get the Metal card. After all, it has tons of benefits. But before that let me show you this as I'm scanning what's in the app. Hey, they've got Crypto as well! I can buy Bitcoin Cash straight with my money if I want to. Well, I can do it as well with my card but love that's in-app. And oh look at the rewards. Haha, I love discounts! This is for me I think I can use this especially this Christmas. Since me and my husband do online shopping (him most of the time). The thing now why I'm writing this is I want to ask those who have experience with Revolut because basic card is free I think you just have to pay for the card delivery but if I want its tons of benefits which are in my family's case that travels, the Metal Card will be a good option for me. But it cost £12.99 per month though you can save if you opt for an annual plan. But look at all these benefits: Image Credit: https://kubasjourneys.com/revolut-metal-card-review/#cashback I haven't read and search much but I read an article from **Kubas Journeys' Revolut Metal Card Review** regarding his positive experience with Revolut which is cool what he shared and it is helpful for someone who's wanting to know more about Revolut. Here's the article link if you want to check out more about Revolut as I don't want to write and plagiarized because I do not know much about it just yet. I just install it tonight and still getting a hold of it. https://kubasjourneys.com/revolut-metal-card-review/#cashback What do you think? First impression from installing it, all good. I think I will get the metal card for the annual plan to save. I will never really know if I wouldn't try. There are bad rumours and reviews about it but I want to give it a try. I will update you on this. **I'm just want to ask about others experiences with this app/card in general. The service? No hidden fees? Is the metal card worth it? It would be nice to hear from you guys.** *And I want to end my article with a big* ***THANK YOU*** *to all my sponsors.* @Pantera@Olasquare *thank you for your generous sponsorship today!* @spaceXXX@andrianlover *thank you for renewing your sponsorship, I appreciate it.* Thank you for reading.

It's Because of Her **We have a special person in our life that has a big part in why we are who we are now. The mosaic of my life is filled with small pieces of wonderful people but the biggest part was filled by her.** *We call her Mama Baby, Mabhe and Wowa(Lola) to the young ones. She's my Auntie, my mother's sister Floresca and everyone call her "Baby".* When I was young I always ask God why He didn't give Mabhe as my mother? Because she is the complete opposite of my Mama. She's the kindest and nicest person I know when I was growing. She's an angel given to me by God. We live in the province and she lives in Manila. During vacation, my mother will take us to Manila to visit my grandmother and our Titos and Titas. We were always excited. I love going to Manila especially at Mabhe's house because her fridge is always full. Because seriously, that time we can only eat delicious food when we go to Manila. They always have nice food and she always let us eat whatever we want. She has always been good to us since we were young. Always buying as stuff, giving us money and giving us gifts. And she treats us good, she never shouts nor hit us for no reason. My auntie most of the time buy me things for school even for my siblings like notebooks, bags and shoes. If I need money for projects or if there's a field trip and my parents have no money, I always call her on the telephone and even if it's a collect call meaning she's paying to accept my call she always receives it. She's always ready to help and willing to give. ***She's not rich. She's blessed. Blessings are flowing to her because she's a giver.*** It's not just about the money but you know she's a nice woman. She's so gentle and very understanding. Everyone is always welcome to her house. She treats everyone the same. When I live with her after schooling and I started working, she never asks me for money but I still give her a share. And you know what it's not just me but the whole clan, her children's friends, her officemates, everyone loves her. She love kids. She loves to spoil them. All our children and everyones children are spoiled with Wowa. She only have 2 children and a grandchild but lol if we all counts then she can be in Guinues Book of Record! Welcome to our Clan! That's not it lol. Many are missing. And why do I love her more? Because Wowa is our ultimate food buddy! We all love good food. We all love to eat! She is fun to be with. Easy going, no fuss. She's always happy and smiling. She's not KJ! You know I'm not the only one that treats me this good. Everyone. Everyone who needs help. Everyone who asks for help she will help. She will give. I am a giver because of her. She's a big part of me. She's not just a blessing to me but to everyone, that knew her. I pray to God to bless her with a long healthy life. She recently celebrates her 65th birthday with our family in Batangas. **Oh I love her so much! Im so blessed I'm grateful that she is our Aunt.** ❤ Who's that special person in your life that has a big part of you? Thank you for reading.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach **Let me take you to another attraction that is a must-try experience if you're visiting Blackpool. You have to book it online on their** **website** **and it's better if you book it a day ahead so you can save.** https://www.blackpoolpleasurebeach.com/ Unfortunately, we book it on the same day because I wasn't aware of that. I do not even know that Pleasure Beach is like this. I thought it was just the same as the Piers with amusements only bigger. So we paid £46 for adults and £40 for children 11 years and under. If you book it ahead you only pay £40 for adults and £35 for children. I could have saved £22. I was shock of the price to be honest. We went to Pleasure Beach on our last day after we check out from the hotel. We just park somewhere not that far and walk to Pleasure Beach. We went to the ticket centre first because I only have the ticket on my phone. It means we have to stick together if we want to go on a ride because we have to scan our tickets every time we are going on any of the rides. So we came here to get a printed copy of each so anyone can go to the rides of their choice if they got the ticket. We got our ticket printed and while inside we check where Tia can go because some rides have a height requirement so she cannot have a go in every rides. She could have a discount lol. That means it's me and Tia and the boys can go wherever they want. It's a kiddie ride for me again. I'm happy with that. I keep looking at this photo so I remember where Tia could go. As soon as we get inside Tia spotted the fountain. And can you see the Big Dipper background? Haha. I won't ride on that. Tia plays in the water at first before we start our rides. THE RIDES If you love rides and adventure this is a perfect place for you. Pleasure Beach is for thrill seekers and ideal for family fun. It's full of rides for all ages, they have different shops and restaurants as well. Flying Machines This freaks me out but surprisingly its not as scary as I thought it would be plus I love the view from the top. My husband force me to ride in there, the whole family when it didn't work he said, he's going to treat me a nice food. I didn't think twice. 🤣 The Big Dipper Haha, fancy a roller coaster ride? Me? Pass. You? Ice Blast Ice Blast reaches speeds of 80mph so you have to hold tight! Whilst catching your breath at the top try to take in the stunning views of Pleasure Beach. Husband said that was fun. I said, doesn't look like it. Nickelodeon Land The theme park for kids and me. Dora, Spongebob and the great of the gang are there. So many happy wee faces you will see and there's me. Our first ride was at Wallace and Gromit' Thrill-O-Matic and the queue was long. Well everywhere you go. We wait for at least 30 minutes to ride on our first! Alice in Wonderland The Avalanche Another roller coaster ride. So you have a choices of the Big Dipper, The One and Avalache. The one is the biggest amongst 3. Here are more photos for you, I just make it in GIF for there's too many. My husband enjoy and went to most of the rides. The only thing is you have to queue for a long time. Like at The Big One, they queue for one and a half hour! He enjoyed it anyways. Mum takes him here in Blackpool every year when he was young. And he is used to rides unlike me. I, Jigz and Tia we enjoyed kiddie rides. Look at their cute souvenir photo at Pleasure Beach. **Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed it.**

School Days for Students and Parents Today I lift Tia in school and as soon as she sees me, she excitedly shows me a sticker on her cardigan that says, **"I met the police today"**. She cannot contain her excitement to share about it. And I'm very pleased to know that she was listening to her class as she tells me everything that the policeman does. She proudly says: *The policeman catches the robbers and put them in jail.* *They have sprays and spray bad people on their eyes. I laugh when she says, "But they will be okay after ten minutes."* *And they give tickets as well. (Hahaha surely they love to, Tia!)* When I asked if she's scared of policemen, she said, "No I'm not because I'm a good girl!" I will be a police girl and catch robbers and evil people! I love the storytelling of Tia and Jigz. Tia has more to tell because she's only in P2. But when they say, *"Mommy I have homework"* or *"Mommy, I have loads of homework"* makes me sigh. ***Here we go again brace yourself, Momma!*** I can tell you how I always try my best to help my kids, my son, especially with his homework. It's like homework for me and him. Some days, there's just too much that we finish late at night. I'm old already, it's been a long time for me to remember the different equations, fractions, prime numbers, problem-solving, different triangles, acute, obtuse, equilateral that kind of stuff. Like I'm starting to study all over again. It gives me a sorehead and sometimes high blood pressure. And their both y And here comes Tia, she just starting writing and reading, and I know that you can relate to how hard it is the first time they learn to read. Tia, learning to read high-frequency words. And I know we all have our unforgettable experiences when we were taught by our parents. Like I was hit for not remembering letters or words. I used to hate the ABAKADA but I memorize the "D" and "Da" for **Dadagukan na kita** and "P", "PA" for **Papaluin na kita.** (All means you'll get hit!) I can still hear the stick beside me and feel it. Oh, it hurts you know?! But I'm not doing that to my kids. I'm trying to be calm and have more patience and invent more patience when I running out of patience. And when my brain overheats, I say "Timeout". Sometimes my brain leaves my head, can't find it sometimes. Maybe she had enough too. But I also shout. I also had enough sometimes. And when I'm too tired I just call it a day. I do my best but sometimes I'm not always at my best. Some days, I complain about why the school have to send homework after the time the kids spend in school. And then I just try to see the positive side that this can be our bonding moments. Tonight Tia's teacher send her these Lowercase letter formation poems. I find this very helpful as sometimes Tia forgets how to write a certain letter and if I recite the poem then she remember how it's done. I just share this for parents that wanting this for their kiddos, it might help you and for them to have fun while learning to write the letters. Tia did well, my writing and hers seems the same. She has good handwriting and Jigz too. This is Jigz with his spelling. 20 spellings every day. Give you a sore hands too. But good for them to learn spelling. I understand that. Yesterday, I receive Jigz Assessment Card for taking the Entrance Assessment on November/December 2021 for the Big School next year. He's in P7 now and if he wants to go to Grammar or Integrated School he has to pass this exam. I want the best for them. We will give it a try. That means more time for review. I have to study hard. Like really hard. Can you feel me? It's as if I'm the one who's anxious about it. I'm the one who gets pressure. Maybe I should go back to school lol. I'm aware of online schooling and the modules since some schools are still close because of Covid in different countries like the Philippines. And I know some parents and students are having a hard time managing everything. We all just trying our best. We just have to keep doing what we are doing until we get through it. Friday night I always rejoicing because there's no homework to be done. My brain will have its rest. It did work hard. And you should rest as well whenever you can, mommies and daddies. How are you parents doing on your schooling? Are you doing well? Students, still okay? Thank you for reading.

Read.Cash and Noise.Cash Makes Me Feel I'm Employed **I'm a full-time Mom and most of you know that. It's been a year now since I started writing about my travel experiences here in read.cash and I am proud and delighted with my fruitful journey.** I stopped working since I left my 6 years job in the Philippines in 2017. It was a tough decision because I love making my own money. But I have to look after my kids and so we decided that I stay at home and be dependant on my husband which is not so cool. Thankfully I found read.cash and gave me hope of making my own money. Once again I felt so good knowing I might earn something and spend money which I work hard for. And eventually surprisingly, because I was sceptical at first, I really getting dollars. It starts with few cents then a dollar becomes a couple of dollars and now I'm making a decent amount of money. Oh well, more than decent for just doing what I'm doing at the comfort of my house and on my own time. I will not be going through how much I earn in read.cash from I started coz I'm sure it's more than £1000+ as for 10 months I made at least $1214.99 in BCH. Amazing isn't it? But you know what I'm still dreaming of one day Sir Marc DeMesel will surprise my account lol. I even dreamed of it but my Tia wakes me up lol. ***Sir Simon, the talking head of read.cash, I only knew you because others calling you Simon but I never get to know you virtually, thank you for allowing us to adopt Bitcoin Cash and giving us endless opportunities. Sir*** @MarcDeMesel ***thank you, because what I earn I know it's all from your generosity. I wish you good health and happy life. To everyone that behind noise.cash and read.cash you are all awesome! Many thanks from the bottom of my heart.*** Then one day we were all surprised to a new site for the shorter post which is **noise.cash**. Another opportunity to make money. And I'm not gonna lie as writing an article is time-consuming for full-time mom, writing short posts works well for me when I'm super busy with everything going on in our house and my life. I invest my own money and our holiday money in Bitcoin Cash and another crypto. Every month what I earn in read.cash and noise.cash I withdraw it and makes me feel as if I'm getting my salary. **Last August 1, I was able to withdraw** ****£254.47**** **for my July earnings straight to my bank account. And it only takes a few minutes which is literally awesome.** **3rd of September I withdraw** ****£208.39**** **from my read.cash and noise.cash earnings in August. How about that?** And now since it's nearly end of the month my payday is just around the corner but I'm not gonna touch it until the BCH goes up as the crypto market was in dip for China is fecking it up. But as of now, I have .62 BCH wherein I already made .503 BCH in noise.cash and .118 BCH in read.cash for the month of September. You can say that noise.cash is some kind of website for a newbie to give out this amount and I'm sure many are making more than what I'm earning. And we are all grateful! I felt as if I'm employed with my payday every end of the month and I can treat myself and my family. And I never forget to give back to the community. Welcome back brilliant badge. And to the awesome generous users. Bless you more! ***Shout out to Club1BCH founders PVMihalache and EyByoung and to every one part of this amazing club Cheers! A year now that I know yous, what a journey! Keep being awesome! Shine bright. 💎*** Thank you for reading and thank you for your never ending support lovely people!

Ford Car Show at Bangor Marina **Welcome to Bangor Marina! Let me take you from yesterday's car show that was held in this marvellous place.** Before I show you the cars let me show you some of the street art that we see on the walls at the street of Bangor. After we park the car, we have to walk down and cross the street. And look at these two while waiting for Daddy to pay for the parking. See the walls already? And that goes all the way to the street. Street Arts at Bangor I just compile it in a GIF. This one is my favourite. ***As they reach for the heavens, they forget how to be earthly good, son.*** **Let's go to the Car show!** *Mum isn't with us yesterday as my brother and sister in law take her out shopping and to see her grandchildren. I wasn't happy coz I want her to see the cars. But no worries, she will see the kids. Keep her happy.* This Ford Show is organized by **Capri Club NI** which is also a charity event. Ford cars include vintage, American, Classic and club displays. I saw most of the cars at the Ford Car show at Newcastle 3 years ago. As last year because of covid, everything was cancelled. This is the first car show that we've been to this year. Normally there would be at least 5 car shows across the county. **Here are some of the cars. Take a pick. Maybe your dream car is here!** I was looking at this Ford Cortina when a man started talking to me saying, **"Did you know how much is this worth now? £100,000!"** Wow, I was amazed! What I love about being in the car show is listening to people reminiscing about their experiences with the car. There's an old couple there who were very pleased to see the vintage Ford that they used to own and recalling the memories. They were laughing and even almost teary eyes. She even said that's the best car she ever had. I just can't tell you which one. But it's a good feeling to witness happy faces as they look into those cars. My husband forgets about me when he's in front of the car. 🤣 And as we finish looking around Tia started running and jumping around and Jigz enjoyed riding his skateboard. This is a good place for them two! There really is not much going on. Just viewing the cars that's it. Some car shows have more than this. And some has race. Just because of covid that were not having it again this year. After that, we walk up the town looking for a place to eat. And we've been to different charity shops but didn't get any this time. For a change lol. I used to come out with a handful. Maybe I'm just hungry at that time. We end up going back to Pit Stop. And had lovely food. And that's our Saturday ends. Thank you for reading. And I hope you enjoy the cars! 🥰

Taking Mum Out For a Drive Yesterday our family had a great time at the field with Mum. That's her first time going out when she got Shingles. She still has not fully recovered as her head is still aching terribly at times. That's the only thing now. But at her age, it's not easy to stick with such pain. She really doesn't want to go but the kids convinced their Lola to come with us and they succeeded. After going to the field and living the trailer with the bike, the husband told Mum to stay in the car. He will take her for a drive. **First stop, we took her to the Mill. This is Comber Mill.** Mum worked here for 45 years since she was 17. Her name is written at the top of this chimney. She said that's a new chimney and before it was put up they inscribed their name on it. This Flax Spinning Mill is erected in 1864 and owned by Andrews Family, Thomas and John Andrews. Thomas Andrews is a shipbuilder and the very one that designs the famous Titanic ship that sank in 1912. They are a prominent family here in Comber. Mum worked at big machines in the mill. It's a man's job and at that time man's job pays more. She loves working at the mill. She's always been proud when she's telling me all those stories. And in front of the mill is the Andrews Memorial School where my husband went to so he just crossed the road and went to Mum whenever he needs money to buy something. Mum said everyone knows him at the mill. That's also the school where Tia and Jigz go to now. The Mill has closed for a long time because the government want too much from it and is now a housing village. Mum hasn't seen the inside of the mill since she left. And she's teary-eyed after. She said she's glad we take her back in there. She knows that it becomes a village and she couldn't believe how many houses in it. It is called Mill Village now. Next stop we went to see the houses she used to live in. We went to three houses that she lived in before but the two houses are gone as they build new houses on top of it. This one is up the Belfast Road and she lived at number 26 that white one with pink on it. But the ceiling was leaking so she moved at number 28 the blue door just beside it. Then we went to see the graveyard of her brother. I thought for a long time that that's Mum's brother because they used to live with them before and my husband is very fond of him as he takes him everywhere when he was young. But she's no relation to Mum. They were neighbours before but Uncle Jackie was a family to them. Mum told so many good stories about him. When he died, we were in Thailand and my husband was upset that he cannot go home at that time. This is at Killinchy Non Subscring Presbyterian Church. The building was erected in 1846. After that, we took her to Whiterock Bay and Sketrick Island. After that, we went to see her old school. And the dam where they throw their money in because when they were young their Granny not allowed them to accept money from anyone so not to get in trouble they throw it in the dam which is not visible at that time. Mum just point where it is. When we pass a field we saw a big white swan. We watch it there wondering what it was eating coz it seems like it's enjoying a grub. Then we head home as it's getting dark and the kids have to take shower to go to school. **Mum was tired but happy that she went out to see the places that were close to her heart. She enjoyed her wee day out and next time I will make sure we get out again together. This Saturday we're going to take her to Ford's Car Show in Bangor. Mum loves cars! She will love that.** Thank you for reading. 🥰

Tuesday in the Field My stomach is cramping badly and I told my husband I want to walk and run up the hill coz I think it will help. Trying to outsmart the cramps not to catch up with me @MarSou told me too. Because if I keep lying down in bed, the pain gets worst. My husband said he will also ride his bike. He looks so happy that I make a joke. *"Riding makes every man happy!"* Hahaha. So he gets his bike getting ready to set on the trailer. Tia who has six sense ask, *"Where are we going, Mommy?"* See? WE, lol. So I told her, I and daddy are going to the field. And she started getting teary-eyed and said, "I want to come too!" It looks like it's gonna be a family affair. So to complete it, I ask Mum to come to the fields since she wasn't out since she got her shingles that still giving her terrible headache. She doesn't want to go but was persuaded by the kids. The field is just down the lane not too far so as soon as we get there while Daddy is getting his bike down the trailer the kids and I run to the fields and sat on top of bales. Look how happy they are! Let me show you the view around the fields. It's very relaxing and you will appreciate the beauty of the countryside. The fresh air. The nature. The green fields (oh depending on what's in it!). Look at these: **Did your eyes get recharged? A magnificent place isn't it?** And here's the fairy tree. Did you remember this fairy tree from an article I shared a long time ago? We are back here and this time I was able to see it close. My husband takes me up there. Even Tia had a good picture with the fairy tree in her hand. The husband started riding his bike. Imagine, after 30 years he decided to ride again. He started riding a bike when he was 5 and started racing when he was 6. Mum said he was a good racer though he fell many times he also brought homes many trophies. Mum is happily watching inside the car while his son rides around the field and she said, "He still can drive!" (Proud Mummy) Then he asked Tia if she wants to have a go. And surely, you know Tia will try everything. She was at first hate the noise and got scared of it but her ears got used to it now after a few runs. Tia hops on the bike. Look at that! Then it's Jigz turn. He bought a Jigz bike last year same as his just small size but he's not into it. But Tia loves to ride anything! And she's quite a good driver. She flies too! Then my husband asks me to try it. Haha, no thank you. But he said he will drive slow same as the kid and I tried and omg that was fun. I enjoyed that! And the views from the top are to die for. I forgot my phone in the car so I told my husband I will have a go again as I want to take a photo of the fairy tree and the view from the top. We had a photo shoot up there and when we're about to go back down and when I got on the bike I push my weight all on one side that tip the bike over and I fell and my husband fell on top of me. I'm telling you that bike is heavy! *So I got my tummy cramps sorted, now I got a whole body! Haha. But I can't feel the pain, as we are both laughing while on the ground. We both can't get up. And Mum and the kids are watching and see us falling. They were laughing as we go down. I just enjoy this day even the fall!* I hope you enjoy the photos I've shared lovely people. 🥰 Thank you for reading.

Level Up Life! **How's your life now? Do you still remember where you came from? How's life when you were young? Did you become the one you said you want to be when you grow up?** It's funny how life brought us tears and laughter at the same time. It's nice that we learn to wish upon a star and believed that wishes do come true. But one thing is for sure, when we were young all we want is to have a better life. We want to improve. We want to level up! *Did you miss your old house? Was it a nipa house? A house made of wood and tin? Was it small? Do you all live in one room? Do you sleep on the hard floor?* *How do you cook your food? With firewood or charcoal?* *How do you celebrate your birthday before? With just greetings? With buns with a candle on top? Or it's just an ordinary day, nothing special?* *Have you dreamed of eating chocolate or have some sweets? A cake with beautiful icing decoration perhaps?* *Have you ever wish to eat in a restaurant? Would eating in a Jollibee make you feel like dining in a 5-Star Restaurant?* *What do you always eat when you were young? Did you ever wish for something else because you already had enough of the same dish every day? A fried chicken or pork chop for a change?* These are just some of the things I'm looking back. I'm reminiscing the sweet memories. When I was young and full of wishes that even Genie in the Bottle will give up on me. But life is full of surprises. Some things I didn't wish become a reality and some of what I wish for didn't come true. But what I love about it is that I know you and I is not in the same place now like we were when we were young. I don't know if I'm making sense here. But evaluate yourself and your life. Where did life bring you? Did you levelled up? I'm sure you did and your way of life did! The nipa house is now made of bricks or stones. You're using a gas stove now. Or maybe an electric one, whew! The cakes, sweets and chocolates that you only wish before, now you can buy them anytime you want. Before just Jollibee and now Buffet or Samgyupsal! Before going to the market (wet and dry) now just add to cart online! Before hard floor, now with foam or mattress soft and comfy! Before ice scramble, dirty ice cream now, Starbucks and Milktea! Before folding***the*** fan when it's hot now, just turn on the aircon pay for the electricity. Before you have to go to the computer shop now, you have a laptop! Before telephone then Nokia, now iPhone, Samsung, Etc! Before walk or commute now, own a car or can pay Uber or taxi! Before we can only afford jewellery made from gumamela or Sampaguita, now gold and silver shining shimmering splendid! Before we can only play with paper dolls, text, spiders now Nintendo, PSP, Xbox even phones have every game. **It all levelled up. Your expectations levelled up. Your standards levelled up. Your way of life levelled up! Things got better. Your life got better.** It's good to reminisce about how tough the early years were. And how we overcome all the hardships and face all the storm that comes our way. Now, we all just laugh and are proud of ourselves because we didn't give up. Because we didn't lose hope. Because we believed in God. Because we believed in ourselves. That life always has its turns and there's always a sun coming out after a night of darkness. And we're not always down, we go up. And you have to be on balance to stay there and if you fall, just get back up again. That's the drill. And level up doesn't just mean you have more money, the question is and the most important thing, ARE YOU HAPPY? ***I still look back at the life that made me the person I am now. And how beautiful it turns out to be. A simple life does level up in time. It doesn't mean you become rich, it's when you get contented and have enough to live happily. And enough doesn't always just money, it's FAMILY.*** Thank you for reading. `Lead Image: unsplash.com`

A Mother's Story This article is inspired by Mom's Group that I'm part of. One of the moms shared this post from her Facebook Newsfeed. Let me translate it for you. (I use "he" for the child's unknown gender.) I strangle my 3-year-old child because he didn't want to sleep. My 1-year-old wake up and made me furious so I smothered my 3-year-old with a pillow on his face. If you're going to tell me, I'm insane, YES!! Yes, I'm insane! My life is crazy. Being a mother making me crazy! I almost killed my child! WHY? Because I'm a full-time Mom, 24/7, no day-off, then this short time at night before we sleep I was hoping that my husband will be here to give me a hand, BUT NO! He will prioritize hanging out and will be home as he wishes when he's sleepy! I told him to give me a break-even just one rest day to help me look after our children but he didn't bother! No mother will get tired, yes! But I'm overtired! In our three years of marriage, The only time he told me he loves me is when I was just his girlfriend and to our first baby. He used to hug me before he go. Everything doesn't work for me now! You can be mad at me, this would be my last post while I still have a part of my sanity. I will soon delete my Facebook because I no longer want to live in this world!!! That is very sad. I'm heartbroken. **Did you feel the pain? Can you blame her for her action and feeling that way?** I'm not saying that strangling and suffocating your child is okay when you're getting tired as a Mom. But what she's going through, I feel her. I am exhausted just by hearing her out. She's helpless. She must be experiencing Postpartum Depression and she needs help. But the help that is supposedly in the form of a responsible husband is neglecting. She felt alone. It's different if you're a single Mom and you know that you don't have anyone to lean on but yourself. But she got a husband. So the pain of her husband letting her down making her feel alone in this responsibility is too much for her to bear. *When Tia was born after few months she was constantly crying all night. At that time I was working full-time and my husband is the one left in the house looking after her. When I come back home from work, my husband already cooks our food so we just have to eat together. At night, if Tia starts crying even after breastfeeding, my husband will tell me to get some sleep and he will look after her. But during weekends, I gave him a break, we go out, I take him to bars or I let him out with friends. I have a husband and he got a wife, we do it as a couple.* *Lu*cky? I'm taking that as I'm blessed for having a responsible man. I have another story but this time I get lucky. And I'm thankful. And that's what we need! That's what you have to look for. If you have a partner now and you are not sure if he will treat you the same when you get married, ask yourself again. Because you might lose your sanity. Being a mother, breastfeeding, cleaning, cooking, washing clothes, dealing with the children when they are crying. And if you have more than one just like her? A 1-year-old and a 3-year-old? And you are doing everything alone? And you have a non-existent, useless husband, are you not going to lose your mind? But women, mothers, you and I we are strong. We make the impossible possible. For our children, we can do anything. We can live without a man but not without our children. Whoever she is, if I were her I will reclaim my crown. If he doesn't want to be the father of my child then I will stand alone. You cannot underestimate the power of a mother. I wish that she can put herself together for the sake of her children. If the husband doesn't want to act like a husband, she has the choice to leave and change her life with her kids. She will make it. Coz she's a woman and a mother. If you are a man and you are reading this. Please have some balls. And if you don't have one, please leave the girls alone! If you are not ready to be a father and you will not be a responsible one, then put a condom on! And please treat your wife with the same treatment, with the same sweetness, with the same love you showered to her when you were courting her. Don't you change if not for the better. She fell in love and trust your love because of how you make her feel when you're just boyfriend and girlfriend. And don't forget the vow you made. Don't abandon your wife and make her feel alone. If you are a single woman and childless and reading this, PLEASE know your man well. And please be prepared and be it known to you that when you get pregnant, it is a big responsibility. What you were able to do when you were single, most of it, you will not be able to do when you have kids. If you are not prepared for family life, protect yourself. Being a mother and having kids is wonderful. But it is a big responsibility. And it's not easy. But if you found a man that will be your other half and he is responsible, being a mother is the best thing in the world. Be wise. TO ALL THE MOTHERS, YOU ARE AWESOME. YOU ARE WONDERFUL. YOU ARE AMAZING. YOU ARE BRAVE. YOU WORK HARD! YOU ARE A SUPERWOMAN. THANK YOU FOR BEING GREAT! THANK YOU FOR NOT GIVING UP. THANK YOURSELF AND APPRECIATE YOURSELF FOR EVERYTHING THAT YOU DO! TO ALL THE FATHERS, THANK YOU FOR BEING THERE WITH YOUR WIFE. THANK YOU FOR BEING RESPONSIBLE. THANK YOU FOR NOT LETTING HER DO EVERYTHING ALONE. THANK YOU FOR THE LOVE THAT NEVER CHANGE. THANK YOU FOR THE HELP WHEN SHE NEEDED IT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRESENCE. YOU ARE APPRECIATED. YOU ARE THE MAN! YOU ARE AWESOME! **To that mother, let's pray for her. I pray that someone helps her. I pray that she seek help and she will receive help. I pray that the husband will see his wife's suffering and changed and be the husband he should be. I pray for those innocent children. I pray for them to be a great family again. I pray that it's not too late for that.** Please share your thoughts and your experiences. Thank you for reading. `Lead Image from unsplash.com`

My Unforgettable Flying Experience **Flying is an exciting adventure that turns out to be a nightmare when things go wrong. That sleepless night before the flight, the anxiety of thinking if you have everything you needed, those butterflies in your stomach are for real.** When you are well prepared, you did some research and reading then you don't have to worry much but when it's your first time, you can't just be sure. I have so many unforgettable experiences when it comes to flying. I fly with my daughter since she was 7 months and I travelled internationally before that. I've flown many times now. Some of the countries I've been to from the Philippines are Thailand, South Korea, United Kingdom, Morocco and the last one was Turkey. When we landed at Incheon Airport and felt the freezing temperature, I thought to myself *"I want to go back home! I'm going to freeze to death here in South Korea and I will not make it to see an Oppa."* Hahaha. **Aside from the long queues in the immigration, another passenger's bare feet up on my armrest, I'm beside someone who snores like a rhino, a girl's long hair hanging on my television screen ( I swear I want to get a scissor at that time) and you have a 7-month-old baby to entertain to make it to your destination are some of the things I have to deal with.** These are my unforgettable experiences: **Tia's first time on the plane** Tia will gonna meet her Granny and Granda for the first time in Northern Ireland. She was only 7 months at that time. The security checks for a start was a struggle. Imagine, I have to take off my carrier, my jacket and shoes while holding my daughter. And because I have to bring milk and bottles I have to take out everything from the bag and they have to check all 4 bottles while I have to wait while carrying her standing on queues. It wasn't easy let me tell you. **Onboard** I prepared an earplug and I gave her Calpol to help her deal with ears popping during the flight. And she cried hysterically upon taking off but settled afterwards. They have bassinets and the flight attendant was kind enough to help me set it up. She's used to a cradle so I had a hard time putting her to sleep on this. She only sleeps for good 30 minutes and she woke up. She will only sleep in my arms. *It's a struggle to go to use the toilet while carrying her and changing her nappy as she won't lay down on the changing table. I don't know how I manage to change her at that time. After 9 hours we reached Abu Dhabi Airport. I was already rejoicing coz this would be the last flight then my husband will pick us up at Dublin Airport, then just two hours drive to get home. I just want to sleep.* I don't have Irish Visa As soon as we landed in Abu Dhabi, I'm at ease. And just waiting for my next flight to Dublin, sitting pretty while carrying my baby while we're waiting to board. Then there's this beautiful attendant started checking passengers passport and boarding pass. I gave her a big smile because she looks like an angel. I gave her our passports. But the next thing she said, caught me off guard. **"Can I see you and your baby's Irish Visa?"** And I was like what Irish Visa? We only have UK Visa. We are going to Northern Ireland. And I thought she's asking me nonsense. But that's after her explanation, and some googling, the realization kicks in. I'm flying to Dublin, and Dublin is in the Republic of Ireland. Northern Ireland is under the UK. I need Irish Visa if my last destination in Dublin. So what do I need to do? She wants me to book a flight right away. She will let me board the flight if I can book a flight from Dublin to any UK airport. And I tried but it's not working. I phoned my husband to let him know what I'm dealing with. He tried as well but still cannot book a flight, the payment won't go through. I was shocked in disbelief at what's happening. We were offloaded even before we board the plane. I wasn't able to book a flight from Dublin to any part of the UK. My husband was so worried because he knows how exhausted I am. We have to wait in the airport for 8 hours until my husband sorts it out and was able to book a flight from Abu Dhabi to London Heathrow to Belfast City. I can tell you my arms are numb, my back was giving up as I was carrying Tia in my arms. I can lay her flat on the airport seats for a short time but she won't lay down for too long. **Abu Dhabi to London Heathrow** Finally, we are flying to the UK after 8 hours of waiting. I thought we passed the worst. It was nighttime as soon as the plane switch off the light so passengers can sleep, Tia cried nonstop. I received dirty looks and heard passengers complaining. I apologize but surely I pity myself too. I want to sleep as well. Tia must feel bad, there's something wrong with her. Maybe her ears or her head was sore like mommy. When we landed at Heathrow and board the last plane to Belfast I was so relieved. And seeing that view down below feels so good. At last! I forgot my bag at the Airport's Toilet Another one that I will never forget when we fly again from the Philippines to Northern Ireland. I think it was from Abu Dhabi to Manchester. At Abu Dhabi, while waiting for our next flight, I change Tia's nappy and I use the toilet as well. So after changing Tia and relieving myself I check the scheduled board and headed to the boarding gate flashing on the screen. We're just sitting and Tia was playing when I noticed that my shoulder bag was missing. My heart drop. **My passport, wallet, boarding pass, everything was there!** I only use the toilet. But which toilet will I check?! I can't remember which one we went to. I carried Tia and run and check every toilet and luckily found my bag on the second toilet that I went to. I forgot it in the baby's changing cubicle. Luckily no one uses it after me. And I was on time for boarding. Luckily! Phew! Turbulence This is a funny one as I hate turbulence. Tia eventually gets used to flying. There's this flight going to Hongkong that the turbulence was really bad. I was holding on to my armrest firmly while praying. Tia at that time already got her own seat. I was shaking inside, I'm so nervous. I thought the plane will crash. And here comes Tia smiling just staring outside looking at the window as if nothing is happening. She's perfectly fine while I feel like dying already. 🤣 We're late! Have you ever experienced being late on your connecting flight? And I'm so worried that we will miss our flight because another airline was delayed! I kept asking the attendant and we were told that the next flight will be waiting for us. But didn't satisfy me. And you know the aisles, the boarding gates I think we run from Gate 6 to 61! I ask Tia, "Please Tia we have to play, you have to beat Mommy in running!" And it feels like we join the marathon for how long we have to run just to make it on time. We're the last ones to complete the boarding. At that time, I felt like we can compete in the next Olympics. *And there you go that's my unforgettable flying experience! I'm just happy that now Tia is used to flying and I don't really bother much. No more carrying in my arms, no more sitting in my lap, no more crying on the plane. All is well as long as she got some snacks and things to play with.* *What's your unforgettable flying experience?* Thank you for reading.

At the Scrabo It wasn't the best day yesterday, it was a bit cloudy but we make the most of our Sunday spending it with family. The kids wake up early as they want to go to the Big Market at Nutts Corner. So off we go. As soon as we reach the market, haven't even park yet, Tia spotted the ice cream van. And shouted, "I would love an ice cream, I think." Hahaha, Jigz laughs at her. Just like what we thought, she only come here to eat. But surely I'm the same as I only used to come here so I can eat the chicken curry and rice that I say is the best one I've ever tasted in town. I keep coming back for that aside from buying seafood. And her wish come true, she had her ice cream with Jigz. I don't want one because it's freezing here. I don't even understand how can they eat it in this weather. So while I'm waiting here with Tia eating her ice cream the two boys are already looking around the stalls. After she finishes her ice cream, it's Mommy's turn to have her chicken curry. Lol seriously, we are only here for the food. I and Tia have a mutual understanding. So while I'm having curry Tia spotted a doughnut and she said she wants one too. So here she is eating her second treat! After we get them what they want which are "pokemon cards" for Jigz and a Velvet Colouring Pad for both of them we head back home. But we only went home to use the toilet and get a coat. I didn't know that the husband has already a plan on his mind. After getting back to the car with our coat, he drive-through McDonalds and order food. Lol, he didn't know that all we did was eat at the market! The kids got their Happy Meal and just after the toys in it. Then to my surprise, he took us to the Scrabo. He said we are going to eat the food here. And I guess we're going to walk into the woods again. Look at the view! It's a perfect place to have a picnic up here! They were so excited that we will walk up the Scrabo Tower. We didn't go to the woods this time. We're just starting but I'm already running out of breath. Lol, I told my husband to just push me up. And he did. He is just laughing. Many people are walking at that time. Most of them are walking their dogs. I saw a family is picking up some blackberries to make jam perhaps. They were laughing when they heard Tia asks, "Are we going up more coz my feet are getting tired." Hahaha. And here we are finally getting there at the Scrabo Tower. It's close this time of the year and hasn't been open to the public since the pandemic. When it's open you can climb up to the top and see a far better view of Ards. The best part here is the old couple enjoying, laughing at each other and teasing each other. I was smiling while looking at them. And the view up here is breathtaking. You can see Island Hill in front, the Strangford Lough, Comber and the whole Ards. And it's gonna be holding hands while walking down. This is much easier than going up. I hope the photos put a smile on your face. And somehow you enjoy the walk to the Scrabo with us even it's virtually. Thank you for reading.

Saturday With My Little Helpers **It's a lovely day today and the sun is shining brightly. We didn't get up so early because it's Saturday anyway. At least during the weekend when they are off school we have the chance to lie in.** I get up and made my husband a coffee and made toast for the kids. Then told them we are going to the garden and they can help me to do some cleaning. I share that in noise.cash that I will have the kids help me this weekend as the weeds are growing in the tunnel house where the tomatoes are. Look at those tomatoes ready for harvest! Love the colour and I can tell you it's super juicy inside. And you don't need a dip, those tomatoes are perfect. We really are lucky to have a good harvest this year. Tia and Jigs started to pull the weeds and Tia keep asking why they are keep growing and why we have to pull them if they're coming back then she has to pull them out again. *Haha, she has a good point!* And after that, they insist to be the ones to pick up the ripe tomatoes so they can show them to their Lola (granny). They know granny loves tomatoes. I will also give some to my brother in law when he comes tomorrow morning. He loves the ones we gave the last time so he's asking for more. And we have plenty here to give as we cannot eat it all. They really are enjoying picking tomatoes and would love to pick as many as they can. Tia asked when the others are ready so they can turn red orange. She said she can't decide if tomatoes are red or orange and neither can I. Lol. Jigz said next year he will be the one to look after the tomatoes so I don't have to do it. And here's our today's harvest! The kids just grab it and run to show it to Lola. She had try one and told the kids well done as they pick them themselves and pull the weeds making the place tidy. They got a fiver each and maybe we can bring them to the beach today or somewhere then they can buy some ice cream as a treat. I would love to have my tomatoes with salted egg. Or with fried fish. It's so satisfying to grow your own food and eat it. You will not be worrying if it's safe if there's pesticide or something on to it. So I encourage you to plant your own in your backyard or the garden. And be rewarded, to taste the fruit of your labour! Thank you for reading!

Palm Reading Experience in Blackpool ***Layout your palm. Let's see what the future has for you. Do you want to know?*** One thing that Blackpool is famous for aside from its remarkable tourist attraction is its fortune tellers, palm readers and clairvoyants. **Have you ever been to a palm reader before?** My grandmother used to read my palm when I was young. Sadly, I can't remember anything she told me but I remember when she said, "You're still young, it will change." In the Philippines, if you go to Quiapo there are many card/tarot/palm readers just in front of the church. They claim to have a special ability to perceive the future. I've never tried one because I don't believe in it and I don't like the thought that I'm going to waste my money by doing so. But it's a different case with my husband. He believes in palmist as he got reading before. When we went to Blackpool he keeps looking for Gypsy Li, he said what she told her before it all came true. But sadly Gypsy Li is nowhere to be found at that time. Someone said she moved somewhere. One night we passed the doors of **Leonora Petulengro** after buying some souvenirs to bring back home. The last time there was a long queue so the husband said we can check that out when there's no one about and this is the moment. I was already intrigued by what she's going to say. It's £20 to get your palm read. So I go in first as she only read one at a time. I go inside in her private reading room and layout my palms in front of her. There was a covid protective screen between us. And she started to read my palm.. **A good move.** The first thing she said was, we will be moving and it will be a good move. She said we're not going to stay here in the UK which is somehow in our plan. *We are only here because of Mum. We want to live somewhere in the heat. My husband and I planning to buy land and to have a Bed and Breakfast in either Spain or France. Whether it will come true in the future, we will see.* **She will be on top.** You have a daughter, she said. She is clever now but she will be on top of her career when she grows. That's my Tia! **You're a giver.** She said I'm good to my family and friends. I never say no and every time someone is in need, I'm ready to help. **You have a good partner with you.** She said my husband loves me and is good to me. And we will stay together for good. She didn't say anything bad. She said she can only see good things happening to me in the future. A part of me thinking, maybe because she already knows that we are a couple and I'm not from here so she can really say that we we're moving in the future. She saw Tia. I don't know how can she say that she's clever now. Maybe because most of the kids are smart now more than ever. *You know I don't know but that reading made me feel happy. It's not about whether I believe it or not, it's about a stranger telling me that my future will be okay gives me that sense of security.* I always believe that we hold the future in our hands. We can change what we call destiny with our choices in life. Do you believe or would be interested to see a fortune teller? Thank you for reading.

Tuesday in the Garden Happy Halloween! Oh, stop that! That's too early. Haha, I'm so sorry but as soon as I wake up I made breakfast for the kids, help them get ready, send them to school, clean the mess and open the windows letting the fresh air in the house and that's the time I saw these cobwebs in the grass and on the hedge and everywhere outside. It looks like it's been decorated for Halloween! And mind you these weren't here yesterday! How did these leggy engineers create this masterpiece overnight? And where they all come from because surely these are not made by a solo artist. It was foggy this morning and that brings the heat. You can barely see the fields. But still a beautiful sight. My first stop after cleaning and putting the washing on is to feed Thumper. Well aside from his food, I'm giving him fresh carrots every day. He's here now at his hutch because the last time that we let him out to hop about the garden he caused too much trouble in the lane which made our neighbours not-so-happy. Then my next stop is to water the tomatoes in the greenhouse. As you can see I have some ripe ones ready to pick. And still have loads to harvest. We already had some of these juicy tomatoes and it's very good this year. Mum enjoyed it with her salad cream. If I only have salted eggs I can eat this every day with it. Home growing is very rewarding. Just proper care and you will reap what you sow. Didn't take long! There are weeds everywhere again but I leave these for now and I'll do it with the kids when they're off on the weekends. They love pulling the weeds helping us tidying up the place. It's really not easy to keep a big garden believe me. And here I go again amazed with the cobwebs as I have never seen as many like this before and I can't tell you if it's good or bad but spiders here is harmless as I've been told. And this is the time of the year that they're making their webs overnight and making it bigger getting ready for this autumn. This is their mating season so Wow, this is the mating place! They choose our garden. I should ask for their rent. Lol. And let's go hunt spiders. There! Look at that! Do you notice the cobwebs are not all the same? So some are made by engineers and some are made by frustrated engineers lol. But seriously, it's a masterpiece. My brothers and friends in the Philippines used to hunt spiders. This is a big thing when I was young. We put it inside the match and let it fight with other spiders. The bigger the better. I enjoyed watching that when I was little. Others will surely relate! And look more cobwebs!!! Can you imagine how many spiders we have in our garden right now lol? And oh don't fool me, you're not a spider! You're too cute ladybug. And you as well, you definitely not a spider, what are you doing here in our garden? And what do you call yourself? ***And that's me today in the garden having fun, enjoying the early Halloween special. I still have cooking, folding clothes to do after that. (Done.) I have to go to Homebase for wood and get milk. (Gotcha!) Before the kids come home from school. (They're sleeping now.)*** Thank you for reading.

School Nightmare **Wednesday, last week, I was so excited that the school started. Finally, the kids are back to school and they were happy as Larry to see their classmate and teacher. And I was rejoicing that I have some me-time again.** Everything going smoothly and here comes the weekend. Tia is sick, she got colds and keep sneezing. She is boiling so I gave her Calpol right away. She said her head is feeling crazy. And she started crying. My poor baby. I was paranoid, I get the Covid testing kit that I ordered online months ago. This comes in handy in times like this. I talked to Tia that Mommy has to do a swab test on her to make sure that she is okay and it's just the normal flu, not covid. And to tell you, I'm very proud of her because she was so brave and just do as I say. She was so calm and trying to tell me to just do it slowly. I'm relieved as it comes out negative. Saturday night when I check my Gmail and saw an email from the school saying that **Tia was in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.** And that her class will be closed on Monday so Tia will not be attending school on Monday and must book a PCR Test and if tested negative then she can go back to school on Tuesday. Today, Sunday morning, Tia feels better and in high spirits. She eats the spaghetti that I cook for them. And she was smiling like her normal self so it gives me assurance that she is perfectly fine but I still have to book for a PCR Test in the nearest drive-thru testing centre and I booked at Bloomfields this Sunday afternoon. This time her Daddy do the swabbing and just like the last time she was very calm and just reminded daddy to just put it slowly in her nose. We just have to wait for the result for at least 24 hours. I'm positive that it will be negative. But you know what, that's a nightmare. It's just 3 days since school started and someone in their class is already tested positive in school. And I know no one, no family would want their child to be tested positive but the fact that this virus can easily be spread in school and from their classmates to their family worry me again. This happened last year and I can't remember how many times they have to close because of some of the ones in the class-tested positive. Like I know how important it is to go to school and that I cannot teach my kids in the house the same as how they can learn from school especially the setup but still as a parent you worry about your children's being. For now, I'm waiting for the PCR Test result so she can go back to school on Tuesday. I'm not even sure now if the school setting is safe after this but I know they're doing their best. I have to make sure Tia takes multivitamins, I believe as long as she has a good immune system, she can fight any virus. It's just not easy this pandemic. Thank you for reading.

Thursdate with my Husband **It's Thursday again! It seems like days have been flying to weekends already. And as usual, Thursday is grocery shopping day for me.** After we bring the kids to school, we head straight to the shop. Our first stop is **Lidl**, this is our main shop. I love Lidl for its fresh fruits, vegetables, fish and meat. And because of Lidl App, I also got free item and today I got a free digestive dark chocolate biscuit which is Mum's favourite. Oh, I love the word "free"! Then the next stop is Asda at the shopping centre and Poundland for the rest of the things we needed for a week. Our budget per week for food is £100 and sometimes we're short especially if we're getting things that we don't supposedly should. I blame the husband when he sees some new tools but today I'm so happy. It feels like Christmas as my husband bought me a new pan! Haha, you know you're getting old when you appreciate home stuff than makeup and perfumes. I was jumping out of happiness coz I really want a new pot. I scrub the other one with a steel brush and ruins it. So I make sure to look after this. After shopping, I thought he will go to KFC but no he turns left to McDonald's. He said he's having a Big Mac. I only want a cheeseburger and mozzarella dippers. And after getting our food. He asked me, " Where do you want to go today?" *Ayiee. Kinikilig pa rin ako every time he asks me that.* So I told him we can go to **Scrabo** for a change because we were in Island Hill last week. This Scrabo is the one with the Tower if you remember. But we didn't go up there we parked on the side. There's a picnic table where you can also do a barbecue in the area. Many come here for a walk, especially with their dogs. This is my first time to go this side of Scrabo so I don't know what's in there. We enjoy our food. But I wasn't happy with this Monopoly thing that you peel because the expiration date says May and the other one is June even if you win something, you cannot redeem it? Sad. After we eat and throw our rubbish, my husband grabs my hand and told me we are going for a walk. Haha, I would love to! So off we go here in Killynether Wood. Tall trees, I wonder how old these trees are and so many big rocks everywhere. The husband said the rocks are from the volcano. It's not easy to climb up here with kids. Everyone should be walking with caution. And holding hands while walking. 😜 And mind you it took me three lectures for him to perfect the heart. 😅 And here's the rewarding moment when we reach the top and be stunned by this panoramic view of County Down. We can even see the Mourne Mountains in the background. And on our way down, we pick up some blackberries. And I can tell you it's sweeter than the ones in the shop. My husband keeps picking for me but he's the one who eats the most. And off we head back to the car coz were afraid that the meat and some frozen groceries will all be soggy. And that's a lovely Thursday with my husband. And as soon as I get home, I started my cooking as the kids will be home shortly. So I made them this Garlic Buttered Prawns! I put extra garlic in it. Very satisfying, we ate a lot using our hands. And that's the part of my Thursday shared with yous all. I had a lovely day, a quality time with my husband. **Take my advice, keep the love alive, keep nurturing the relationship. Have a date, hold hands, have fun together that's also a key to keeping a happy and healthy relationship.** Thank you all for reading.

1st of September: First Day of School and Ber Months **Wake me up when September starts, Jose Mari Chan is coming to town! Are your ears ready to hear his songs being played everywhere? Welcome to the Ber Months!** What a lovely day today. The sun greeted this brand new month with a sunny spell. I wake up early than usual. I'm so excited because it's the kids first day of school. I wake them up in a happy tone and whisper to Tia's ears, *"It's school time!"* Oh, you should see how she open her eyes big and smile and say, *"Am I going back to school now and see Mrs Sims and my friends?"* Haha, Tia and Jigz both get up filled with excitement on this perfect day. They had cereals for breakfast and after that get their face wash and teeth brushed. They already washed last night and that's how we do it here, they got washed at night so it will be an easy morning for them when they get up. And save the hassle! And look at them on their uniforms! Aren't they lovely? They look beautiful in uniform. I wish them a great day in school today. They must leave before 8:40 am as classes start at 9:00 am. It's not easy to park in school today because for sure it's full so they have to go early. I'm excited to hear their stories later. And I'm sure Tia will have loads for me. They kissed me goodbye and Daddy took them to school. I started cleaning as soon as their away. I put on clothes for washing, starts hoovering all the rooms, cleaning/dusting the furniture and already think of what I'm going to cook. I marinate the chicken with Mama Sita's Tocino mix so we are heaving tocino later. And I did all of that in a hurry because I want to start this month of September way more productive than the previous months. I wrote my goal this month and try my best to make more BCH. It's September and it also means Christmas is just around the corner so I need to save and spend less this coming months. I will try to focus. **I didn't make much last month if I were to compare from previous months but still, I made a decent amount that I cannot just get elsewhere. So thank you for my Bitcoin Cash, read and noise! I know we all are thankful for such blessings, we work and earn. So more writing this month and more BCH to come!** And before I say goodbye let me put a smile on your face and leave this snowman for you. I can only think of winter when Ber months come and this Ulala Snowman has a big.. oh definitely big carrot! Happy Ber months everyone, please don't put up your Christmas Tree just yet. Thank you for reading.

It Was A Great Weekend! It feels like days passed by in a hurry. It is as if it's in fast forward mode. Saturday was great, I took the kids to the park to play. Jigz was watching his favourite program and he doesn't want to go with us just yet and he will just follow after on his bike. So it's just me and Tia going to walk in the park. On our way, we saw bees and butterflies enjoying a good feed from the dandelions. Tia was fascinated with the butterflies and this white one that looks simple still, lovely like the rest. Then we continue our walk and made it to the park. Before we went out it wasn't that warm so I wear sweatshirts and even put a light jacket on Tia. At the park, as I look around and mostly everyone are wearing dresses, sleeveless and t-shirt and I'm the only one wearing sweatshirt as if I'm freezing but the truth is I'm sweating already. Tia is not comfortable with her shoes so I phoned my husband to bring me a t-shirt, shoes for Tia and also her scooter. And he did and so I was able to change, I belong now. The husband is back at the garage fixing his bike and Tia and I will enjoy the sun in the park. This one is her favourite. I feel dizzy on this. And she made friends in an instant and have a go with them. And when her friends are away she called me to sit and enjoy the ride so all along I was like Tia, only slow for Mommy. 😅 But she didn't and go harder. Poor me! And she went to the swing. Look at that full smile! 😁 And after that, she rides her scooter and play with the boy on his bike. And when she was thirsty she asks me to buy a drink but I won't be going to the shop without her so I take her with me and she wanted me to buy a drink for the wee boy as well. She was very pleased to get two drinks even carry them herself but she was disappointed when he is not there anymore. And that's when Jigz came and she gave it to him instead. And they play on their scooter. And little did I know and the husband forgets about it that there's a parade today. It's Royal Black's Last Saturday and there's a parade across Northern Ireland. It's re-enacting the victory of the Williamite forces at the Battle of the Boyne. It's held on the last Saturday of August and is an important part of Ulster's Culture. Ulster is Northern Ireland if you don't know. Luckily we're in the right place to see the band. Still, because it's pandemic, there are not many bands on this parade. And I can tell you that I love this pipe band because I love their kilts! This is the only time I can see men wearing a skirt and the lovely bag, I would want to borrow. That bag you call it sporran. After the short parade and Tia and Jigz had enough time playing, we head home. We went to the back road this time and it's very nice, had a lovely walk. The place is clean and well maintained. The river is flowing beautifully and its sound is music to my ears. And look at the butterflies free to fly about. What a lovely place! Sunday I wake up early as I told my husband I want to go to Nutts Corner's Sunday Market to buy prawns as the last time I got prawns from the shop and me and the kids didn't like it. On the way is this beautiful view of the road and the green background of fields and trees. And when we are in the market I saw this intriguing Purple Cauliflower because I never saw one before and I never knew there are other colours aside from the white that I know. Well, surprise it exists! All-natural not coloured and its colour is because of anthocyanins. And after walking around, I got what I came here for. My favourite seafood stall! Look at all this seafood! Oh, I love it! Different fish, mussels, crab, lobster, clams, prawns he got it and it's all fresh! Look how big this lobster is! It's massive! And that's my man! A very nice man, been his customer for years now. And my Sunday is solved! Got a kilo of prawns and some mussels for today's dinner. We enjoyed the feast! The three of us had a full tummy after. :) ***And that's how my weekend goes! Had a lovely time and celebrated and Yipee this Wednesday the kids will be back to school! I'm having my wine ready lol. Cheers everyone!*** Thank you for reading. ❤

Back to School Preparation After 2 months of holiday from June, the kids will be back to school on the 1st of September for school year 2021-2022. Thank goodness for that! Lol. I just can't wait to have hours of silence and welcome back my me-time that only exist when no one is around. But before that, I should remember that before school ends, their teacher sends them what they need for school on their return. And I tried to get it last week and today. I also collect the uniform we ordered last week as they are no available size for Tia. **Tia is in P2 and here is the list of what she needed:** Pencils Rubber Sharpener 3 Glue Sticks a packet of 12 Crayola Twistables Scissors Pack of tissues A small bottle of hand sanitiser ***Important reminder:*** Clearly labelled with their name! **Jigz is in P7 and here is his list:** Pens- 2 black or blue, 2 red Pencils x3 30cm ruler Pair of scissors Glue stick x3 Two ring binders A packet of poly pockets Dividers for ring binders Colouring pencils Felt tips Rubber and Sharpener Highlighter x2 Whiteboard marker x3 Small hand sanitiser A packet of sticky post-it notes Calculator Compass Choice of novel for reading-for-pleasure And also handy but not necessary as been told: hole punch, paper clips, file paper, folder/wallet for transporting AQE papers home. **Also must be clearly labelled as they are not allowed to share with others so every student should have their necessary items.** The first thing I did is to get their uniform as what happened last year, we leave it at the last minute and we ended up getting it late as they were out of stock and have to get it ordered for us. *This is what they look like on their first day of school last year. It's also Tia's first year in school. :)* So I got the uniform at School Days in Ards, the cardigan and the school shirt. The rest, the pinafore/skirt and the trousers I get in the shop (Asda). I also get their vests, thighs, school socks, bags and accessories. Then we get their shoes, black shoes and rubber shoes for P.E. The queues for school shoes at Clarks is unbelievable. Then their school equipment, I brought the list with me but I didn't get it all in one go. I even went today to get the rest but still got things that I wasn't able to get like the whiteboard markers even I've been to 4 shops, I can't get them. I will try to go to B&M tomorrow. You know, I tried to make sure I can save with this, check shops if they have school supplies roll back then I get that. I laugh when my husband hands me a £2 highlighter and told him to put it back and went to the other shop and get it for 95p. Hahaha. When I was young, I don't mind, now I mind every penny in the shop. If I know that I can save, and still a quality item, I will go for that lower price! I think I got everything sorted, and labelled everything except for the uniform. I will not forget that like last year, Tia's new cardigan was exchanged for an old one. And I didn't know that they take it off in school so I didn't bother to put a name on it. So now, I know. Lesson learned everything must be labelled at least I know there's a chance to get back her uniform if ever. You know kids don't care and don't pay attention to everything. But parents do! Also as preparation on going back to school, we started to answer some AQE papers for Jigz and Tia on her writing and letters and words. She forgets some already but we will review just for an hour or two every day. Also starting yesterday they have to go to bed earlier at 9 pm so their body clock will be ready to get up early in the morning next week. When they have no school they can stay up all night as they wish. But have to sleep early and get up early during school days. **I'm just glad we already got what they needed and I couldn't be more proud to say that I spend my BCH earnings to share buying on their needs. I'm happy to spend what I earned. That's a good feeling, I know you can relate on that.** But seriously, getting all these things; uniforms, shoes and school equipment isn't cheap. Parents should have ready money because we spend good money on it so I know. And back to school means I have to get up early again and help them do their homework when they get home. But that also means I will have a lovely time while they're in school. That sounds great already. Can't wait! 😜 **School year 2021-2022, Tia and Jigz are ready and so am I! Let's get it on!** Thank you for reading!

Highlights of Our Short Holiday in Blackpool Hello everyone! It's lovely to write again and I'm so excited to share our short holiday in Blackpool which is in the county of Lancashire, England. This is supposedly a trip with my mother-in-law, wherein Mum should fly first to Leeds to her sister as she doesn't like the boat. But we cancel Mum's flight because of her Shingles and she's not fit to fly this time. But since the kids will be back to school in September she wants us to take the kids to Blackpool as we already promised this months ago and Mum doesn't want to disappoint them. My brother-in-law looks after Mum while we are away. Blackpool here we come! We are taking the jeep with us and we're going there by boat. We left on Tuesday (17 August) at 2 am heading to the Port of Larne for our sailing time is at 4 am and you should be there about an hour for boarding as we are boarding with the car. https://youtu.be/jX4fZfJIMUE It's smooth sailing for 2 hours and we reach the Cairnryan Port in Scotland safe and sound. And it's 4 hours drive from Cairnryan to Blackpool. So it's a long journey for us! The kids are tired because they were so excited they didn't sleep! We reach Blackpool before 10 am and decided to have our breakfast first at Coral Island's Peggy restaurant. Food is expensive (everywhere here), but the food and the service didn't match the price. We are booked at Lyric Hotel and check-in time is 1 pm so we still have time to walk about the place as it's the kids first time in Blackpool they were quite excited. Just seeing loads of people, the rides and arcades put a smile on their face up to their cheeks. I just want to share our itinerary of what we did and I will make a separate article for each of the attractions that we visited. First Day On our first day, we go to the **South Pier**, one of the piers in Blackpool which is filled with amusements, rides, shops, arcades etc. Then we booked for **The Blackpool Tower Circus** at 7:30 pm which is in the Blackpool Tower. We are not allowed to film when the show started so I just want to show you what the venue looks like. Second Day We went to **Madame Tussaud's** wax museum at 10:30 am. It's amazing, the famous people inside are well done and truly look real. We ride on the carriage as Tia wish. And at 3:30 pm we went to **The Blackpool Dungeon**. And we visited Leonora Petulengro and had a palm reading for £20 each. Then we went inside to one of the amusements and play the 2p and 10p machines and horse racing where we win pug and tiger stuff toys. Third-Day https://youtu.be/7jzc3B-OV4M On our third day, we booked for the famous Blackpool Ballroom. Look how enchanting this place is! After that, we went to the beach. We bought our souvenirs and not to forgets Lola's Blackpool Rock. We went to the Central Pier and ride the Ferris wheel and others. Last Day https://youtu.be/03qfWtlu08w On our last day, we check out from our hotel at 10:30 am and we parked not far away because we booked for **Pleasure Beach**. It's like our Enchanted Kingdom/Star City back home. We've been to different rides and enjoy the long queue. Then we leave Blackpool at 7:30 pm and back to the Port of Cairnryan at 11:00 just the right time to board on the boat going back to Larne. The entire time we were there it's dull and raining and on our last day, luckily the sun shines brightly. Nevertheless, we make the most of our stay. The street at night is lovely. It's very alive with the crowd. We ride on the tram as well. If you will visit Blackpool, I highly recommend dining in Wetherspoon. We've been to The Albert and the Lion and at the Velvet Coaster both satisfying. As what I told you food is dear wherever you go but you will not be disappointed here. Food is served hot and delicious! Everything is booked in their app and it was fast. Only minutes of waiting time and your order will be served right away. Here are some of what we order: Sharing the streets of Blackpool, hope you like it! https://youtu.be/7y6fNtG8ILM That was a hectic holiday. I'm still tired right now but we had a great time in Blackpool, not just the kids but also us kids at heart! 🥰 Thank you for reading!

Birthday Surprise: Epic Fail! *I don't know how to start this as I'm already laughing remembering what happened to our supposedly birthday surprise for my husband. So I told my kids, Tia and Jigz that we are going to surprise their daddy when he comes home after 12 (last Tuesday) his birthday is on the 11th.* So we are getting ready, the cards and the gifts that we are giving. I have the cake and the lighter in my hand. I turn off the light in the kitchen so when he comes I can see the car coming and he will be thinking that we are all in bed already. Tia and Jigz are both holding their card and the gift to be given to daddy. I told them to be quiet and that when daddy turns on the light that's when we are coming out from the toilet while singing Happy Birthday. Here comes daddy! The car is coming. I light the candle and look at them trying to say to remember what I just told them and they were all smiling so I thought bought of them really take it to heart. And here comes Daddy open the door! And here goes Tia, **"Daddy we're here in the toilet were going to surprise you!"** Oh, amazing! So maybe that's the queue to come out and sing Happy Birthday. I cannot take any pictures as I'm holding the cake. I should have to take a video but I wasn't thinking at that time. Daddy still seems to be surprised and he got a big smile on his face. He looks happy to see us greeting him at the early hour of his birthday. We sing the happy birthday song in three different notes, almost perfect that daddy wants to cover his ears but he remembers it's his birthday and he must appreciate our tone. He blows the candle, he didn't make a wish. What else could he wish for, *we are all together now*. Then Tia hurry daddy to open the card and the gifts, she is the excited one. She's very cute that night. And she was very proud of her drawing on Daddy's card. And Daddy praises them both. Jigz bought him a box of celebrations and even put a fiver on the card that he gives to Daddy but my husband gives it back to him and told him to hold it, the box of chocolate that he gave is good enough for him. Then Tia said to daddy, "Open my surprise for you!" And daddy said, "Could it be a box of Malteser by any chance? And she starts giggling covering her face. The funniest part is when daddy is holding the Maltesers and she said, **"Can you share that with me, Daddy?"** Hahaha, we all laugh. It's as if she doesn't want to give it to daddy. Maybe she'll get it tomorrow telling him it's not his birthday anymore. **Then it's my turn. Oh, I can't believe what I just did. Remember in my last article when I said that I told him, I'm going to buy him an XXL brief just to tease him? I got him an Extra Large! But the thing is he is only Medium and I don't know how on earth I get that XL. Lol.** So whenever he saw the brief he said, **"Extra Large, seriously?"** And grab one and burst into laughter as he is stretching the brief showing me how big it is. The kids can't stop laughing! *So I just told him, that's an advance gift, it will soon fit. 🤣* Then here comes Tia again, *"Daddy, there's more! There's a t-shirt and perfume inside!"* Hahaha, and the husband was like, "Really!" Tia was so excited and Daddy was just too slow. She can't wait to reveal the gifts to Daddy. And oh, the t-shirt didn't fit so I got him a new one today same one. He asks me where I get the money from and he said he's hoping it's not from his card. Haha, cheeky. I told him maybe I got more money than him. Hahaha. **It's not a fail after all, Tia made it more exhilarating. And off we go to bed with a smile on our face. Oh, that's after my final gift a good whole-body massage with a happy ending! 😉🤣** And the next day this we're served plus KFC Party Bucket! Thank you for reading.

My Day: What a Monday! **How do you start your day? With a smile on your face? A little prayer to give thanks? With a cup of tea or coffee? Or just having a deep breath and tell yourself, "I'm ready!"** Like I do all of the above and I'm so crazy doing that kind of stuff like smiling like a nut, so I can feel the good vibes. I got up at half 8. I went to the house and see Mum if she's awake and help her with her breakfast. My mother in law is very independent and always working in the house just this time that she can't do much because of Shingles so I'm giving her a hand. I gave her cereals as she doesn't want to eat porridge. And then give her medication. Then I started with the tasks at hand. I have to do the washing as I have our laundry basket full. It's not that hard as I just throw them in the washer and the tumble dryer afterwards. Then I do the cleaning. I always start at the toilet. I love to clean when no one is around because cleaning is useless when everyone is walking about. Then I mop the kitchens floor took of the doormat and the small carpet give it a good rub. I hoover the rest of the house and brush it after spraying some carpet cleaner. I only do this once a week then I can just hoover the whole week. Just to keep our carpet nice and clean. Then I went to the garden to water our tomatoes and give Thumper (our rabbit) carrots only to find out that he's missing. So he must get out and went to the lane because I look for him everywhere and I couldn't find him. The kids will be upset if they do not see him. I went back to the house and had a cup of tea. While drinking, I'm already thinking about what to cook. And that's when my husband arrived and so I told him about Thumper and he told me that there's nothing we can do, we just have to wait if he comes back. My brother in law phoned me to say that he saw our rabbit away to the lane and that it's gone, it disappears. That's after visiting Mum. The husband said he will come back if he wants to. So we just wait and see. I told my husband to take me to the shop today as I want to get something for his birthday. I even told him I'm going to buy him an extra extra large brief. Lol. He laughs hard as I'm getting cheeky. He takes me to the shop but he didn't go with me as he doesn't want to see what I'm getting. And I went first to JD Sports to look for a nice pair of Adidas shoes but nothing of his type and there's a nice blue one but he doesn't like blue shoes. And so off I go to TK Maxx. I have more options in here. I already got his favourite perfume Ultraviolet by Paco Rabanne so I just need some small things to go with it. And for the kids to give to their Dad. *So I soon I get inside, I feel so mad because the store rearrange the aisles and you know that feeling that you know where are the things you looking for and now you don't? So I had a good walk inside.* I was in front of this beard trimmer for quite a while trying to figure out if there's a better one here that I can give to him but end up walking away and finding another. And oh, Tia would love this section! She loves her princess dress! And so in the end I end up getting a t-shirt, an adjustable neck lounger where he can put his phone while he's watching something so it's not always falling on his face. It always happens lol, briefs, and a box of his favourite Maltesers chocolate. And my last stop is the Card Shop. Unlike any country, giving cards is still a big thing here in the UK. Every occasion we give cards. And sometimes cards is already enough. They put money on it, especially on the youngsters. After that, I went home and went straight to the kitchen to cook. I had an easy menu for today. I sauteed prawns and have it with mixed vegetables and sauce made of soy sauce and the oyster sauce thickened with flour. And for the husband, I served mashed potato, bacon and beans. British really loves bacon and beans. But not me. Maybe because I'm not British lol. Then I made Mum fish and chips. She has no appetite and doesn't eat very much so I ask her to eat rice pudding to make sure she had enough and she did. After that while washing the dishes I saw Thumper hopping in the garden! I run to him and I'm so happy to see him back!!! Ahh good boy he knows where his home is. The kids, Tia and Jigz are happy to see Thumper and had a good run with him. They didn't know that Thumper was missing for a while and had a walk in the lane. They just thought that Daddy let him out to play with them. After some cleaning up and get them all fed I sit with Mum and I turn on the TV and play *Carry on Movies* so there's a reason for her to laugh and after that, we watch *Keeping Up Appearances*, very funny. And the rest of the day were with the kids, my phone and the fish. ***And also today I had a good laugh with Tia as I remind Tia and Jigz that it's their Dad's birthday so they have to write cards to be given to Daddy. Jigz said he is going to buy him sweets as well. And Tia told Lola that she will give daddy a nice birthday present. And when Lola asks what it is she said, "A penguin!" 🤣 She said the gift should be as big as daddy but she's only talking about his belly with baby***. That's a pretty hard one to get! And now I'm writing this and it's past midnight I have the clothes that I washed earlier on in my bed ready to be folded at this hour but let me tell you I'm going to do it tomorrow. I will call it a night. I'm having a rest now. What a great Monday I had! **How was your day? Busy too?** Thank you for reading.

5 Animals I'm Scared of When I was Young *Most of our fear of certain things is rooted in when we were young. Some we can deal with when we are older and we successfully overcome. But some traumas remain. And like me, I'm still scared of such when I see one. But unlike when I was young, all I can do is run. And running was the worst choice ever when I encounter these animals.* Dog I used to hate dogs. I was bitten more than ten times. And you know when I was young, when you were bitten by the dog, they don't take you to the hospital. They wash the part that got bitten in running water with safeguard(antibacterial soap) and rubs garlic straight into the wound. And I don't know why I always have this magnetic power with dogs which feels like a curse coz when I was young every time I encounter dogs, it's either they chase me or they bite me or both. I have many fresh memories with dogs and oh they were oh so good to me, I thought I'm gonna die. Seriously. If it will be filmed, the title of the movie will be, "The Chase". In our place***,*** stray dogs are everywhere, and if your parents told you to buy something in the store and you see a pack of dogs on your way, me? I run back to the house. Because the way they look at me and starting this barking business made me pee my pants. But how inconsiderate my parents are to send me back to the store and tell me, "It won't bite you, just walk slowly." After being bitten multiple times in the past. I was about 6 or 7 years old and I love to play hide and seek with neighbours of my age. And because I don't want to be found, I hide on the furthest neighbour's I know. I went to a narrow alley and hide at the back of their house. What I didn't know was that they have dogs and that dogs house is in there. And not only that the dog's house is there but the fact that the dog just gave birth. And of course, now I know that the dog aggressive after giving birth is usually the result of a female's protecting her puppies.  So she attacked me while I'm hiding there beside his cage. Lucky enough after some bitings the owner came and blame me for it. I shouldn't go in there. But I never knew "trespassing" exist before. And then there's this time that my Mama instructed me to go to her friend's house from I thought live in heaven as you have to walk on these steps that feel like I'm taking forever to reach the top. Then usually their gate is closed and dogs are in the cage but this time as I'm nearly at the top of the world when I saw the gate opens and here come the two dogs barking, coming aggressively towards me. And what do you expect me to do? Of course, I run. Needless to say, I was bitten so hard that day that they took me to the hospital to get an injection. I'm so lucky! And this is why I'm scared of dogs. They love to bite me. And I love to run when I see them so that's when I get to chase and bit. My fault! But I love dogs now. I'm not scared anymore. Chicken Chickens seem to be nice, rooster or hen. We have a couple of them under our house when I was young. I still can remember our old house, a nipa hut and the flooring was made of bamboo sticks and under that are chickens. My problem with chickens is why on earth they have to attack me all the time while I'm just passing by. Like the fly on top of me, attack me with their beak especially when they're with their chicks. The chickens are everywhere when I was young, so even I was going up to go to the store as soon as they see me they are ready for war. Like I know it's his territory, I just want to pass. Oh, I love to cook them! Monitor Lizard We call this *"bayawak"* in the Philippines, it's like a big lizard. You know when I was young, we used wood for cooking. And as the eldest and if my parents are not around, I have to get woods in the forest near us. That's not an easy task as I have to cross a small river and we all have this big lizard and every time I will get woods with my big knife (bolo) I will see one, and they scared me so much especially the bigger ones. I don't like the way they look and how they walk as if they are crocodiles. But people in my place and my Papa loves to hunt and eat them. Well, I don't. Cat Oh, it is not I'm scared of the cat itself but when I was young we have this cat that always fainting. And she loves to go on top of the roof and she's always at the edge and so when I'm washing dishes or clothes outside I will just hear a loud bang and it's the cat faint and fall from the roof (it's not that high) and you know when we were young I used to say to the cat, "You are so stupid you shouldn't be resting at the roof because you are sick." And sorry to say my siblings and I laugh hard when we see her faint out of the blue. But I'm scared that one day she will get hurt pretty bad and die. And she's not nice when she keeps stealing our food. She doesn't leave us any most of the time. So one day, Papa take him somewhere far to get rid of her but surprisingly the cat came home before Papa. So we have to just live with her and hide our food better. Snake I'm scared of snakes. One day I was at my Uncle's cornfields and I love to climb at the mango tree beside their house in front of the field. I love to jump from the tree to the ground and I enjoyed it. But one time, I didn't know I wasn't alone and the only one that's enjoying it as I jump there's this green snake beat me first. He did a good jump there scared the shit out of me. So I run to my uncle shaking. And from then on, I stop climbing from the tree. Well only for a day or two, I was stubborn anyway. Then when I was older, one night it was raining hard and I was lying down on our bed I saw a white thing crawling. I wasn't sure as the lights are off. But I was curious and switch on the light and to my surprise, it's a huge snake on the ceiling of our house looking straight on me. I screamed and my Papa came and get the machete. The snake was moving about and looks alert. It was a good fight between him and Papa but Papa was injured after hitting himself with that big knife. But good thing he killed the snake. And so we can sleep that night, but no, I did not as I was thinking the snake family will come to revenge their fallen one. Haha. Would you believe that there's no snake here in Northern Ireland? Seriously! Well except the one in the zoo or pet shop but that's the only place. Even it's all trees and fields, everything is green, there's no snake. Thank goodness for that! **And that's all folks just thought of that after seeing a huge dog walking in the lane just now. I'm wondering if you have ever been scared of any animals when you were young? Share with us!** Thank you for reading.

Is Technology Good for the Kids? **I prefer my kids to play outside but I don't deprive them of technology like phones and other gadgets. As when I was a child, I wished I had what other kids have but sadly my parents couldn't afford them.** The world keeps changing. Time flies and what we used to do when we were young, the new generation will not appreciate. I remember there's no such thing as an indoor game in my time. You will be chase out by your parents to play outside. We climb trees, we play rough games, we walk barefoot, we get our body and clothes dirty and that's what we called 'play'. There are no gadgets in our time. We have rubber bands, paper dolls, slippers, tin cans, spiders inside the match, Chinese garter, playing cards, text, yo-yo, spinning tops and many more. We don't know anything about technology. Then all of a sudden it exists. They started this brick game, Tamagotchi, game consoles and there it starts to know who's parents got money and who have nothing to spare. And I can tell you I was so jealous just to see my neighbours playing their brick game. And sometimes I save money to have a go on it. And how I cry to ask for my Mama and Papa to buy me one but those days was tough. Money was hard to earn just enough and sometimes not even enough to buy rice. So I understand those bits. But that was before. Time changes everything, people change, technology keeps changing and we are in a new era where kids are smarter than before. And technology is everywhere. And the used to be playtime becomes technology time. **My kids outdoor play includes:** Riding the bike Running in the garden Playing tennis Playing basketball Playing football Going to skatepark and ride the scooter and skateboard. Riding the quad Is it good or bad? I'm going to answer this based on my experience, not with science or how other's people view it. And in technology, I'm only emphasizing the use of mobile phones as this is I'm familiar with. I have two kids and both of them I not deprived to learn new things and having gadgets. But as I said at the start of my article I prefer them playing outside. But.. I want them to be familiar with the technology. I love to see them learning. I love how technology teaches them so many things. My kids have mobile phones, Nintendo Switch, Xbox and they have their TV to watch their programs. I am so thrilled every time my 5-year-old daughter Tia, show me things she learned. I love how she learn great stuff watching YouTube and playing with different games. One day, I was sitting in the chair and Tia on the couch when she suddenly sings a song and to my surprise, she knew the song. She knows the lyrics of it even I don't know that song. She has this game on her phone that she plays on the keyboard and sing with it. And she can have a perfect score and I was like, what?! My baby is really good! There's this hairdresser's game that she's playing and she's good at cutting hair, colouring it, putting make-up on the virtual model and she can do it beautifully. We only have paper dolls in my time. She also can play this Minecraft and build a house and everything. Even ask her granny what kind of house she likes, the colour, how big and she really can build it with the garden, toilet, bed in it. I don't have a clue how can she do that and even she shows me it is too complicated for me. But I was really impressed. My 11-year-old son loves to play games and watch on YouTube. He is the one who thought Tia how to play Minecraft and build houses. And I see nothing wrong with that. They could be my future engineer. ****The thing about technology is if we let the kids abuse it. THERE SHOULD ALWAYS LIMITATION.**** Too much screen time ruin their eyes and their development. If they only play games on the phone, they will not play outside just stay in the house the whole day. And I can tell you it can be very addictive and that is not good. But I set rules for my kids: If they're watching movies or cartoons they can only finish one movie and in a maximum of 2 hours then they have to take a break. If they're playing on phones, they can play or watch for about an hour. But good thing Tia and Jigz only take a notion to play their phone. They still love to play with toys and outside the house. And I always tell them not to watch too close to the tv or don't hold their gadgets too close to their eyes. No phones in their room. So I make sure that they don't play in the middle of the night. *Their phones have certain restrictions in Settings and it's under "Parental Control". It means that I have to approve what they install on their phone, what games or I can see what they search on the internet. In that way, I know if a certain app is not for them.* And you know what? That gives me a break too! If I'm cooking I know that they're just there especially Tia. I know that she's just playing with her phone. Some days we all sitting on the couch holding our phones. And sometimes we all watch a movie together and that's our bonding moment as well. And when on flights, phones and tablets are my friends to entertain the kids. And it works like wonders. **But I must admit that as a parent we still must watch our kids using phones or other gadgets. Making sure that what their playing or watching is safe for them as not everything is appropriate for every age. And the virtual world can be dangerous and some are taking advantage of our innocent ones. Parental guidance is highly recommended. Technology is good when you use it right. Gadgets are a powerful tool and you have to take advantage of what it can offer.** **Encourage outdoor play and at the same time allowing them to use gadgets in moderation and with parental guidance, I think will not do them any harm.** I would love to hear your side parents or soon to be parents! 😊 Thank you for reading.

A Relationship Advice: Maybe You Need, Maybe You Don't Being in a relationship can be challenging. Well, it is! And love is not everything. You cannot keep the love alive just by the feeling both of you feels. And believe me, when I say, it is never smooth sailing. Waves of problems will batter you and your relationship, and most of the time it sinks and you're drowned. **LOVE.** Love feels so good. The feeling of being in love is so overwhelming that it put a smile on your face up to your cheek. But as time goes by the love is being tested. Will you be able to let go or hold on? This is very important, make sure you are with the right person. Trust your instinct, trust his action more than his words and don't be blinded by love to believe that everything is like a Fairy Tale with a happy ending. Sometimes and most of the time it is not. My honest advice In a relationship, to stay happy and in love, everything must be balanced. And even everything is balance it's not guaranteed that it will be perfect. And the relationship is really shouldn't be perfect. The flaws must be worked out. The understanding of two people must be in sync. Aside from emotional, there are physical, sexual and financial needs that have to be met. Well, you can't just live with love alone. Communication This will always be my number one. We all have our needs to be met. If you are complaining about your relationship then you are not communicating with your partner. If you are feeling frustrated, disappointed or your needs are not met, you are not talking to your partner. Communication is very important. I used to be full of frustrations and disappointments, unmet needs but it all changes when I voice out exactly what I want, what I need. And my partner did the same and so we satisfy each other's needs and wants. When I hear a story of cheating, they always say, it's because the other one can provide the needs that the partner can't. And I was like, maybe he/she didn't say or ask what he wants. Let's admit it, we all have this mentality and telling ourselves, **"he should know by now!"** We think and we guess that our partners should always know what we want when in real life, **they don't have a clue.** Stop the guessing game. And stop that giving a hint. That don't work. Say what you want, how you want it and so your partner can satisfy that. And both of you are happy. And never think that he might get mad or he will leave you by doing so. And if your partner doesn't pay attention or doesn't care. Then I don't think you are with the right person. The right partner would love to keep you happy and you as a partner is the same. **And together with good communication are love and devotion, time, respect, trust in no particular orders. What you want to receive from your partner, give it and it will be reciprocated.** Don't hold on when you know you have to let go Don't be a martyr. If you did everything you can for your relationship and chances has been given for the Nth time but was taken for granted, let go. If your relationship not making you happy, and if you already discuss the matter and nothing has changed, then think of moving on. There's always this self-respect. And this love is worth the pain and giving second chances can be worth it. I believe in second chances. I believe in forgiving someone's mistakes wholeheartedly. This is if you believe in him and that giving him a second chance would be a whole lot of story. But the real thing is. Everyone has a different story. Every love story has a different plot. Deal with your relationship, any advice is not needed. You work it out yourself. No one knows better than you. Because believe me, you know what to do, you know what is right. You know what is best. You don't need any advice. Because you know already what to do. You just don't want to do it and you just don't want to face it. And if you are not going to face it your relationship will be in turmoil. Communicate. Talk. Deal with it. That's how you keep a relationship a healthy one. A healthy relationship is full of laughter, full of happy smiles, with hugs and kisses. And when a problem struck, you are just both calm and deal with it together. And whenever there are arguments, you both know how to patch things up. Waves of problems will batter you and your relationship, but you are on an unsinkable ship and with hands that securely hold yours tight, you have nothing to fear. Thank you for reading.
