Without knowing, Annie noticed that their helpers are busy preparing, she asks her Nanay what's the hustle and bustle of all the people in the house.

Nanay: yung papa mo may bisita mamaya

Annie: sino daw?

Nanay: yung Ninong Rod mo.. at yung family nya.

Annie: what?! bat di nyo sinabi agad!

Nanay: magagalit papa mo matagal na nya tong plano Annie pagbigyan mo nalang muna.

Annie: Nanay, akala ko kakampi ko kayo alam nyo namang ayaw ko nito.

Nanay: pasensya na Annie..

Annie went out to their garden, their garden has this small greenhouse she went inside and stayed there. She was thinking that all of this was only a show for her to come back home, "why are they doing this to me?" she was crying and then suddenly Yuri cross her mind but it's impossible that he could be here in Baguio right away. Well, it's 7 in the morning and maybe he will be here in the evening she just hopes. Annie called Yuri.

Annie: hi, good morning..

Yuri: hello Annie.. how was and your mom?

Annie: ah.. ehh.. okay naman siya na miss nya lang ako.

Yuri: nice to hear that, so kelan uwi mo ng Manila?

Annie: dipa ako uuwi.. Yuri, may favor sana ako, remember last time na nagusap tayo bout the boyfriend thing?

Yuri: ah oo, why?

Annie: I need you now, can you come?

Yuri: what? now?! bat biglaan? actually nandito din kami sa Baguio with my family kahapon lang kami dumating. But we have a family gathering later, I don't think I can make it with you.

Annie: ah ganun ba, sige wag nalang sorry na abala pa kita. thanks.

(she had a desperate voice)

Yuri: Annie don't worry you can handle it, it's your life not theirs, good luck Annie. ( the line ended)

Annie has no choice but to face it, for once she needs to end it now. She went back into the house she just played along and she went into her mother's room and talk to her for a while.

Annie: Ma, you know that I love you and papa, di ko lang maintindihan why are you doing this to me?

Mother: Annie, we are doing what's best for you, this man is the right one he came from a well-respected family.

Annie: Ma, kahit san pa siya galing ibaiba ang ugali ng tao, it is not measured by fame and money.

Mother: Mas panatag ang loob namin na sa kanilang family ka mapupunta, please Annie just accept it.

( Annie just look at her mother in silence)

It's 4:00 in the afternoon

Annie is lying in her bed, her mind is blank she doesn't want to think anymore.

Downstairs they are preparing for an early dinner a few hours from now the Reglo family will arrive. Nanay(Annie's yaya) went to Annie's room it was locked and no one answered, she went to find a spare key for Annie's room but it took her for a while looking for it, Nanay is worried about what Annie is doing in her room. Nanay opened the door she found Annie in her bed, in her mind maybe she's just sleeping she wakes Annie up and thank God she's okay.

Annie: Nay.. ano ginagawa mo dito?

Nanay: Diyos ko Annie tinakot mo ako.

Annie: bakit po, natutulog lang ako..

Nanay: kanina ka pa tulog, di ka nga nananghalian. hinahanap ka na ng papa mo.

Annie: sige po susunod lang ako.

Annie prepared herself, "this is it" ( in her mind) she wears her best dress and practices her speech and actions for her this is the rebellious way that she would ever do in her life. She went down she now overheard the talking of her father and her ninong(godfather)

Father: oh there she is! you look beautiful my darling.

Godfather: Hello Annie it's been a while, you grow up so fast and beautiful (with a smile)

Annie: (smile) thank you po (then she grab his hand to her forehead)

Annie is seated next to her Mother in the left corner, her father and godfather seated at both ends of the table in front of them is her godmother and one empty seat. Annie's mind (where is Corgio) thank God he didn't come.

Godfather: saan na ba tong batang to? bigla nalang nawawala.

Father: baka ngpapahangin lang sa labas ipatatawag ko nalang.

As they are busy chatting in the dining room as the dinner also serving, Annie is still practicing the lines in her head she never noticed that somebody is entering the room, as the man went around the table instantly she stood up.

Annie and Yuri: ikaw?!

(Annie fainted)

For a while she was lying on the sofa and regain consciousness, she slowly looks around the people around her and then saw Yuri, she immediately leaned over and seated.

Yuri: Are you okay Annie?

Annie: I'm fine now

Father: nagkita na pala kayo?

Yuri: yes Tito sa Manila but I never thought that she's the Annie that papa told me. I almost forget your face(he smiled at Annie)

Annie with a confused smile

Annie: bakit naging Yuri kang bigla na diba Corgio ka? (with a teasing smile)

Yuri: na bu bully ako sa name ko kaya iniba ko na (he laughed)

And everybody in the room laugh also after that they have dinner and they talk about the wedding. But unfortunately, there was no wedding after all. Yuri and Annie decided to take it slowly since they are on the getting to know each other stage and hopefully in the end they will be lovers and get married.
