How to make relatable story/screenplay?

This is actually difficult. Being able to pull this of is incredible.

Step 1- the plot/ storyline

Writing something people can relate to is really fun! It also gets you noticed. You can base it of real life scenarios or stuff that could happen! Basing it of real life scenarios is the first step to creating your own so today that’s what I’ll be focusing on! You have to choose an interesting event, for example a cat getting stuck in a tree, won’t be interesting! So find a story people will want to read about even if they don’t relate. For example: it could be a story about someone losing a friend!

Step 2- life like characters

The characters have to be relatable or they aren’t going to fit the story line. Try and follow the least stereotypes as possible.

Step 3- portray emotion

In a murder investigation you don’t start laughing at the victim do you? So emotions need to flow freely. I good way to do this is imagine your in the scene or chapter. How would you be feeling?
