"Divided we fall, together we stand", "A good leader is a good follower" these two famous qoutations are my favorite when it comes to leadership and achieving a certain thing. Having these philosophy in a group one thing is for sure, "winner takes all". We will achieve what we want, we can also surpass what's our expectations is because we are doing as one. In a team, there is a leader and there are members too. In order to achieve certain thing the team should act as one. It is not a good practice to always put on the shoulder of the leader what is needed to be done. The members should do their part and act as well.
For the members to be effective they should have the ability and will to support, listen, suggest, accept, understand, participate, share and encourage other members as well as the leader. Personally I do possess these ability and will that is essential in helping my group mates. Having these traits, the leader benefits in a way that he/she would not be put in a situation where he would feel that he is the only one who is willing to act in the group.
To sum it up, it is better for the team when everyone does their part as simple as that.
