"Today I just got my first bath." said the little Surron...
All kidding aside, it is a big thing to wash one of these vehicles. The batteries are lithium based and these bikes have only been out for a little over a year.
Lithium and water don't mix. So there's a good chance of fire if you ride in the rain or if you spray it with a high pressure hose at the car wash.

There's no telling how much testing was done on the vehicle when it was produced. Did they test it? In how much rain or what level of water? There are warning stickers saying that you should not ride in 'deep' water or get the controller wet.
As a precaution, we wash the EVs with a brush and rinse with a low pressure sprayer.
We have not been riding much because it is winter. We are also close to the end of life on the brake pads. So there are lots of reasons not to ride right now.
But it is also hard to resist the urge to zip around on this freaky-fast little bike. We took some of our electric fleet out for a photo shoot. Those are the pictures you see in this post.
