Hibiscus Grande When you stretch your hand wide open with all the fingers as spread out as possible, you would still be hard pressed to beat this one's spread. They are huge and very good for you. If you dry the flowers of this plant and then take a few and steep them for a few minutes in boiling water, they make a drink called Jamaica, which is a tea served over ice, ruby red color in appearance, and a bit tart. I add sugar or honey to mine. When I see these in bloom, I reach up and take a few... Pictures that is. I take a few pictures of them. They are about six to eight inches deep from tip to stem and at least that around, so they are difficult to get into focus unless you back away by four or five feet. But as is the case for so many things in photography, they are more impressive when standing next to them and watching them move in the breeze. As for cool drinks, I buy the dried flowers. I cannot stand to take them off their stem and I would not know how to dry them properly. **Until next time!**

A Ton of Big Green These are so close to the times of the dinosaurs. If you were to cut one of these off where the stem meets the leaf, you could cover your naked body top to mid thigh with one leaf. The only leaves I have seed that are bigger are banana leaves. They would be longer bu certainly not wider.

Copper Kitchen Overblown A few are too little A bunch are too many Some old and some new. How much soup can one do? I personally find it hard to maintain copper cookware. The same goes for silver but I have always used silver and cannot do without. Kisses.

With leaves as large as dinner plates It is hard to pass by and not click a shot of this beautiful broad leaf wonder. It is as if the insects respect her too much to take a bite. The little green flowers did not impress me with their overall beauty, but I was taken by their quantity and varying sizes. Please keep me in your **photostreem** ⚜️

A flower from a flower Nature is always full of surprises! The Spiked Red Leaf Plant that I posted a couple days ago threw me a curve today. I watched the bloom push out another little white flower from the towering central part. This plant could not decide on what color its leave would be at first, then it produces flowers inside of flowers. Amazing. I got this one with its own shadows falling on its own petals. I hope you like it. So many surprises with this one. See my gallery also on blurt.live

Green is fine but in my world, plants blare at you! The scheme I use is to take many shots and then just post one. The best one. Some blogging sites feel that everything should be a thirty minute read. I could do that, but a lot of words simply take away from the object of my passion, the photography, color, and mood. Yes, in my wold, plants do this... The scream at me, "I am different!" Raise your hand if you are different too. ***When leaves want to attract some attention.*** I also post on https://blurt.live

Sometimes I just want to howl ## at the moon that is. # ![image.png](https://img.blurt.world/blurtimage/least/207077a50d05e682e345fe84426c92f27b777975.png) I have been wanting to get back on here and do more reading and use this site as a place to host my photography. I took this picture while walking at night but not last night. I collect beauty for later reflection. I hope you don't mind if I bring my collection here. 😘 Posted as a "short post" as an update. I hope I am doing it right. #photography #moods #dclub

That feeling yellow... I was not feeling blue when I took this photo, but now I'm not in the yellow mood. The thing is I like taking pictures, and they may not be the best pictures, but it's what I do and where I collect them. I had some difficulties with Instagram, so I don't want my face anywhere on the internet. Just when I thought I found a place where I could express myself and be social, people started to kick me with dislikes. I went from steemit to appics, then a banker took over. I moved my account to hive, but now hive is a hostel environment. My collection... Hive is where my collection is, so I feel that I should keep posting my pictures there, or else I don't know what I will do. I think I made a lot of money there, but I never spent any of it. Now I only have read.cash. I will have to learn how to use it better. I really appreciate this platform though because it allows me to sign on without giving out my phone number. Having my location tracked terrifies me because of what I went through. Sorry. I hope the next one will just be beauty and color hitting a lens.

A bee's eye view **Zooming in a bit** It's easy to stop and smell the roses, but if you stop and spend some time and really look there's another level of beauty to be found. The roses don't readily show their inner workings but the daisies do. There is something being born in the middle of this clump. They grow and mature as they work their way out the edges, and then they open like a microscopic ear of corn. #flowers #story #macro #photography https://hive.blog/trending/flowers https://hive.blog/trending/story https://hive.blog/trending/macro https://hive.blog/trending/photography

Green Cactus Cat 🐈‍⬛ ...**and** **here's** **her** **tail** 🤯 Now it's up to you to imagine the actual cat sitting on the table just to the right. I swear she was there. I wanted to pet her but she was very very dangerous to even touch. She jumped down and ran away and I kept yelling, "Spike come back, won't you pose for a picture?" Next time I see Spike, I will get a picture of the two of us together. Cactus cat selfie.
