Have you ever imagined yourself flying? Or perhaps being invisible? Cause girl same! I feel like my imagination's absurd, but what if it's true? I bet our lives right now would be really different from what we used to. Would it be better? I think that possessing a superhuman power could have a both positive and negative impact to human beings.

It may be an overwhelming thing for an individual to instantly possessed a power. Having a superpower can do quite a lot of things in this world. Imagine if you have the ability to run as fast as the wind. You could probably go anywhere in just a few time. You can go to your favorite destination or dream places. How cool is that? Another thing that if you have the ability to fly high to the point that you can reach beyond the clouds or even in space. You can even have a chance to go to another planet if ever haha. What if you have a power to turn back time for a couple of minutes? It’s like an undo button when typing a document. But if you are going to ask me what superpower I’d like to have? That would be precognition. I think it’s pretty awesome to have the ability to foresee the future. I feel like I can prevent bad things from happening. I could save lives if ever. That’s really a helpful power to have. I’ve known some people who have that kind of special power and I’m really amazed by them. They can help a lot of people because they can predict things that will happen. But I also think that it’s a bit scary to know how things will happen.

DOWNSIDES

Though it might be overwhelming to have certain power, it also entails some weakness. Just like any other heroes that we watched in the movies or television, there are certain things they can’t stop. Worst, some people who possessed power often turned into a monster. Greed will always be in their way. Some people think that when they have power, they can do everything. But that is so wrong. Their minds are set to the idea that they need to have more powers to gain more strength and influence to the point that they do bad things to other people.

WHAT IS A TRUE POWER?

Aside from the imaginative powers that we all know, there will always be a true power in this world. For me, a true power is standing up for what is right. Voicing out your opinions or ideas to other people requires bravery. A true hero is somehow brave enough to face the struggles that he or she might encounter. Having the courage to fight for what is right is basically the root of it all. It’s not about the money that you have or the influence you have, but being true not just only to yourself but to everyone is a sign of power. I think that if you love what you do, if you are enjoying the things that you have or to be exact, you are contented not just with the material things but with the people around you, you can be happy. And I can say that happiness is a power too. Not everyone who are smiling or laughing means that they are really happy. Most of the people smile and try to be happy with their life even if they are struggling and I can say that genuine happiness is something to be proud of. Overall, we don’t need to find a power because real power will always be in ourselves. If we keep on living with a good values and beliefs, we can continue on gaining more power to live our lives to the fullest.
