Firefighters are unrealistic pessimists. These people will choke and frustrate your dreams and aspirations. They will tell you one thousand and one reasons why you can’t do it because others have not done it. These people will capitalize on your weak spot and use it against you. They are people that will recognize fire burning in you but all they will ever do is pour water into your fire to quench it.
Firelighters are people in your corner that will strongly have your back and are willing to help by offering whatever it’s in their capacity to see you do well in any areas of your life – academically, spiritually, setting a business, and many more. They are your warriors on the battlefield and will ensure the victory comes to you. You could call them a selfless support system.
Firefighters are the ones that will cheer you up for the world to see but it’s never their intention to see you win. They are a dream and goal killers. There is nothing you do that seems right to them, they will always find ways to rubbish your effort and drag you down with their words. There is nothing you tell a firefighter that is nice to them, it always has to be bad or wrong.
Here is my advice to you, wisdom is profitable to direct hence always seek the help of God to grant you wisdom and help you to handle each person in your life accordingly. If you have firefighters in your circle, don’t let their lack of support discourage you because they are mostly full of insecurities or probably jealous you have something they wanted so bad too. Shift your focus from these sets of people and be with the tribe of people who share in your vision and value. If you have firelighters around you, be grateful to them, and never let them go. Their loyalty and consistency towards you can never be bought!!!
Lastly, In fulfilling the purpose of God for your life, you need the firelighters. These people might not come all shiny and attractive but you will definitely know when you see one. Take a close at people in your life to know where they fit in.
