Ghost TV Prank

Does any of you here loves doing pranks? Or maybe watching pranks?

As much as you do, I love it too and I will never get tired watching some pranks. My classmates are a bunch of pranksters and if you are not careful, you might be their next victim.

Today, let me tell you about the prank that my classmate did which somehow have become really popular with pure coincidence. And believe me or not, his prank made the school canteen buy a new television.

Excited? Let's not get this long!

Our room was about seven meters away from The Boys Canteen when we were 2nd year high school students. Although we have two canteens, most student choose The Boys Canteen since it is larger and has a television. Most of us go there for lunch and spend some time watching It's Showtime. Vice Ganda's jokes often make us laugh, and when he's not present, we usually don't watch.

While we were watching TV one day, the channel abruptly switched to GMA's Eat Bulaga. Except for my classmates at the table next to us, everyone who was watching was stunned. Who the hell did that? My classmate mes next to us doesn't seem suspicious because that could be due to the fact that they are "Kapuso" and Eat Bulaga is their favorite show. Who knows?

The staffs at the canteen were also confused because there is no remote control for the television, so if someone wants to change the channel, they must go to the television and press the buttons. However, no one did!

As a result, the staff went to the TV and changed the channel, and we were able to watch It's Showtime once more. While we were already enjoying the show, it was switched back to Eat Bulaga again after three minutes. Everyone seemed to be worried now and confused. Some also felt afraid.

We sensed something was off this time, and some students began to leave the canteen. The staff returned to the TV and switched it back to It's Showtime, but the same thing happened after three minutes. I can see it in the face of the staff that she was already irritated and at the same time, shaking in fear. But this time, they decided to switch off the television and since it is already about 1 pm, we left too with confused minds and how on earth it's happening. We need Detective Conan to solve this!

The following day, the same thing happened, and the staff felt helpless, so they turned off the television. We were still unsure what was going on, so we stayed on our classroom for the time being.

Our last subject's class ended early that day, so my companion and I decided to head to the canteen. That's when we learned about the strange TV. They said, "The TV had previously belonged to Ma'am Roldan's mother, but because they had purchased a new one and this one was still in good shape, they chose to donate it to the canteen. Ma'am Roldan's mother died because of serious illness three months after it was donated. Although the TV was already there for 11 months, this was the first time something like this had happened. According to Ma'am Roldan, her mother loves watching Eat Bulaga so maybe it was her mother's doing."

We felt like we didn't want to watch there anymore after learning the story. We went back to our classroom and told our classmates about the strange and sudden switching back to Eat Bulaga channel. Like how we felt, they too are afraid except for my one classmate who was trying to hide his laugh.

This story became known as "Ghost TV" on campus. One day, as I was passing by, I overheard my classmates discussing the Ghost TV, and they appeared to be very joyful and laughing. Hmmmm, something smells fishy here. So I questioned them about it, and one of my classmate, Jun, admitted that he was the mastermind behind the Ghost TV. He told me the whole story and how he pulled it off. He was, after all, concealing a universal remote control in his bag. You know what, when he told me this, he felt so proud that he was able to trick all of us.

When he told me everything, I realized what was going on and why they were so happy every time the channel was switched to Eat Bulaga. I thought after all they just felt happy because they could watch it. And why when the time that everyone felt fear, he was concealing his smile under his fake fear emotions.

As the class Vice President, I pinched his ears and then laughed. Hahahahaha, of course I couldn't get angry because he tricked all of us which I found brilliant. Well, his action just made the school canteen replace the TV with a new one. Of course, I didn't want it to happen again so I asked him to stop it already. Although I really feel like I want him to do it again but this time maybe he'll be caught. There might not be any stories that would back up his prank.

Up to these days, except from us, everyone believed that the Ghost TV was real.
