Top Three Books That I Love

Reading is one of my hobby. As the pandemic start my husband decided to buy some books online so we can have something to read when we are not busy. Mostly of the books that he purchased tackled something about life but not all of it touched my heart, only a few. Here I wanted to share the top three books that I super love.

"A beautiful book that teaches many lessons in life"

This book is all about Mitch Albom "the author" and his professor. Actually we haven't bought this one and we are shocked to see this in the parcel that we picked up at LBC. We message the seller about this and she told us that it is our freebie since we purchased 6 books that time. My partner doesnt like this at first glance because he thought that it was just like the fiction book that he bought at the national book store last time. But I was curious about this, and I tried to open a page and on the next days I read it when I'm free. This books has many lessons that one could learn.

  • Forgiveness

Forgive first our self so it would be easy for us to forgive others. Forgive before it's too late because not all are lucky enough to have the time to forgive and to be forgiven.

  • Marriage

Dont get rush on getting married. Before entering into another phase of your life, you need to know more about each other's belief, likes and dislikes and know what personality has each one of you has.

"If you don't respect the other person, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. If you don't know how to compromise, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. If you can't talk openly about what goes on between you, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. And if you don't have a common set of values in life, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. Your values must be alike."

The biggest one of those values is your belief in the importance of your marriage.

  • Culture

Be compassionate, this is what we need today. No matter where we came from, what beliefs we had, what race and tribe we are in, we should take responsibility for each other. If we learn about this important lesson about life, then this world will be at peace and this world will be a better place to live in.

  • Money

Status doesn't matter in life, having a kind heart for everyone is what truly matters. Doing the kind of things that come from the heart is what gives us satisfaction. We won't be envy nor jealous to others and we will never be longing for someone else things and attention.

We need to devote our self in loving others, to the people around and devoting our self in creating something that gives our life meaningful.

Money and luxury life will be forgotten by people but the good deeds that we have made or showed to them will be tresured for the rest of their lives.

"To realize one's destiny is a person's only obligations"

This book is full of philosophies and I really do love this. I also learned so many things while reading this one.

And here's a quoted part of the book that says "When each day is the same as the next, it's because the people fail to recognize the good things that happen in their lives every day that the sun shines"

-We may have the same daily routine everyday but having a grateful heart makes each day wonderful. Look for the beauty in everything we do and see the good things that life offers us each day. Appreciate what each day has and practice being grateful as each day begins.

"The secret of happiness is to see all the marvels and never to forget the drops of oil on the spoon"

-As we go along the journey of our life, we should appreciate the things that we see and we have in our life and we should never forget our true purpose why we are born here in this world, never to forget our true worth and never to forget our own happiness too.

If we wanted to be happy, focus on where we are and what we have today. Never dwell on past and never worry about our future.

In the middle of the book, I read something about love and I was motivated to write few words about love.

LOVE THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF THE WORLD

Love knows no bounds and no limits

Love knows no gender or what race you are from

Love can sometimes break us but also it makes us whole

Love has no shapes and no forms

Love comes in our lives unexpectedly

Loves is in our heart, mind and soul

Love is universal, love is everywhere

Love is what binds us all

-Follow what is in your heart and make a way to achieve it-

"Stop wasting our time

This book was my hubby's favorite and he encouraged me to read this one and later on I was addicted with this. I read this two times already.

Here's a few lines from the book that we can get a lesson and apply it in our every day lives:

"There will never be enough time to do everything you have to do"

Succeeding in life needs a lot of hardwork. There isn't time for everything but there is a perfect time to get started and that is now. If we wanted to have a better tomorrow, we have to work harder today, we have to make a change today and we have to start doing it now.

"Do what you can, with what you have, where you are"

What needs to be done and accomplished today, we should do and finish it. Don't wait for tomorrow to finish it. Set aside those unimportant things and focus on those important ones.

-Get more of the important things done today-

Everyone of us has its own path to follow and that is what we called our personal calling. A calling that the Lord has made for every one of us. As we search for this purpose of our life, there will be many obstacles in the way, many hardships to encounter, many problems to be solve, many situations that will test us if how far we can go and what we are able to do in order to achieve our dreams. We may lost on our way but don't be bothered by it. Losing sometimes lead us to our passion. Losing sometimes on our way will let us discover something in life and maybe that something is what we are looking for in life. Don't be afraid of losing because part of winning is losing sometimes.

Thanks for reading until the end!😊

Have a good day beautiful ones

Reading is fun and it sharpens one's knowledge. These are great lessons to learn from them. I just searched for them in my lighter app but I couldn't find them. I love reading books from my phone rather than the hard copy
