Good Day Guys!
Today, I was supposed to go shadow hunting but during the morning there was no sun. So instead of shadow hunting, I was thinking of what to do.
During this day, I had to go to our Professional Regulations Commission to renew my professional license. It is located at Pine Lake View Building. It was drizzling the time that I went there. When I took this photo I thought of something to do and go reflection hunting while I was processing. Before entering the building, there's a person who would check if you have an appointment during that day. He checked it and gave me a Health Declaration form. After filling it up, he told me to go to the 5th floor,
I had to go inside the regulation Division. Before entering, I had to sign up my name and state my purpose of going there. After that, someone called me to go to them. I went to her and gave her my form. She was looking for my name on their database. In this division, this is where the screen you if you have enough Continuing Professional Development Units to renew. I think my profession requires 15 now.
3 years ago I had to renew my license for the first time and the law back then was different, wherein they required 50 CPD. I was only able to give them 35 CPD units and I even owed them.
But thankfully today, the person spoke to me and wondered why did I owe them. The law changed recently, wherein the first renewal we don't need any CPD and they also lowered how many CPD we need per renewal. I'm really happy that they carried over my other CPD units to this renewal so I didn't owe them any. I wasn't able to submit my other training because I only had a photocopy, they were asking for the original certificate. She said that I can always go back there and give it to them. One of my certificates is 17.5 CPD so I wouldn't like to waste it. The person also told me something about getting CPD from serving under COVID-19. After everything, she sent me downstairs to window 8.
I went to Window 8, and I had a problem with my photo. The person there said that I can't use the same photo. There was a photo booth upstairs so she sent me there. I had to take off my mask, face shield, and glasses when they took my photo, I wasn't even ready for this so I looked crappy haha. I had to pay 30 Php for the photo.
I then went back to counter 8 and gave my renewal form. She told me to wait while they process the ID. So I was just taking photos inside. I was looking at the reflection that the barriers are making. Can you spot counter 6?
I was looking for more reflections and I saw the reflection of the roof through the windows.
They called my name at counter 10 and gave me my ID. I had to sign a document and put my signature at the back of my ID. I was so surprised that everything went smoothly. There were only a few people who were processing. Social distancing was observed and everybody was following protocols. I even noticed that the PRC speaker has a timer wherein it reminds the employees to disinfect their desks.
I went outside and went to the park across it, I thought that I would get a nice reflection from the water of the pond but it was murky and there was so much stuff floating in it.
I had to go to the bank to withdraw some cash for my laptop. I was really amused with this window it looked unending. If you look in the photo closely, it looked like a reflection in a reflection. I think that this was my favorite photo
I thought that my face shield would produce a nice reflection of something but I think my attempt failed. You just can see the stairs of the building. I still have a lot to learn regarding reflections.
But let me end my post with one of the reflections that I truly miss seeing. The reflection of the sunset on the beach. I hope that I will be able to visit the beach soon. This was taken at San Fernando, La Union. Hope that you guys had a wonderful day!
Thanks for reading and Stay safe always!
