Good day guys!

Last January 10 my cousin asked us if we(me and my younger brother) wanted to play a round of golf during my day off. They set the date on January 13, 2021 before they start their online classes. As usual, I slept at around 3 am and woke up around 6:30 am to get ready for the game, and left the house at 7:30 am. We arrived at the Club at around 8 am.

When we dropped off our bags something funny happened, one of the caddies said "Bag ba ito ng babae?"(Is this the bag of the girl) I paused and thought of What Girl? We are all guys in the car. and my mind finally figured out what he meant. I think he mistakenly thought that my younger brother is a girl because of his long hair.

Before entering the club, we had to sign the Health Declaration form regarding COVID-19 stating all our personal information, temperature, if we were in contact with any infected people, our workplace(If you work in the hospital, the form also asks if you got tested and what were the results) and if you have any symptoms relating to COVID 19. When answering this we should always put the truth because doing it will save lives. I haven't gone here for a long time. Upon entering, I was surprised that there were barriers everywhere and arrows on the floors to control the flow of traffic. The boards on the right side show the past champions and the people who made a hole in one in this golf course. My grandpa actually made 3 Hole in one's. And my other cousin made one, too bad he couldn't join us because of work.

This is it, I missed looking at this site. I think the last time I played golf was 3 years ago.

You could go practice putting in that putting green in front.

Before you play you have to register and pay the green fees. If you're a member or a dependent you don't have to pay for this. My younger brother is still a dependent and he's so lucky. Me and my cousin used the Golf Certificates of my younger brother. The advantage of using a golf certificate is, it is convertible into food and beverages. The green free was 900 Php each and we had to pay additional for the Insurance which was 40 Php each. There is also a Caddy fee which you give after the game which is 500 Php. The total amount that I spent when I played was 1440 Php or that's around 29.98 USD.

You can also choose to rent a golf cart for an additional 350 Php.

We were all walking to the Tee Box of Hole number 1. I was getting nervous thinking of what will happen to me because I haven't practiced or swung a club for how many years. I had too many negative thoughts.

We are about to Tee Off at Hole number One. Hole one and ten are actually connected but hole number one is on the left side and hole number ten is on the other side and they are both par 3's. We let my younger brother hit first and his ball landed before the green. When it was my turn, I was pressured. When I hit the ball my ball sliced(Curved towards the right) and it went to hole #18( I was trying to finish the game already haha) so I just had to drop I had 5 strokes in this hole. My cousin was able to green the first hole and was able to green it and got a par. My cousin told us that we are not allowed to put up the flag when we are putting, so there are chances of it bouncing off.

Hole number 2 is a par 4. It's a downwards slope. This was when we had to use our drivers. I really suck at hitting the driver even when I used to play before. I remember hitting a caddy on his balls when I used a driver. That event happened in this hole. Ever since that happened they have been calling me a sharpshooter. When I hit the ball, I sliced it again but it went rolling down. We were looking for the ball but unfortunately, we couldn't find it so I had to drop a ball. I noticed that my short game sucked so bad so I had a difficult time going to the green(This would apply to most of the holes that I played)

Hole number 3 is the longest hole in this golf course. I find this one of the difficult holes because of the upward and downward slopes. For some reason, it's messing with my mind that you couldn't see the green. I lost 2 balls in this hole because I sliced both of my drives. One went to a bush that's full of thorns and the other one went out of the course according to my caddy. My ball also went to the sand trap before the green.

Here at hole number four, there are 2 greens, in the middle and at the right. But when we played the one active was the one at the right. My brother was able to hit it to the sand trap of the green in the middle. On the other hand, I hit the ball towards the left going back to the course of hole number 3. We tried looking for my ball but it was gone, so my caddy advised me to drop a ball. Apparently, my cousin also did bad in this hole.

This hole is also known as the cardiac hill because it's going upwards. You have to be mentally prepared because you have to hit the ball across the street. There are chances that you can even hit a car.

For some reason, I was really lucky in this hole because I was able to hit the sweet spot of my driver. My brother was secretly recording the video. He said it was for insurance purposes in case I hit something but I got a solid hit and we were all shocked.

This was something that I'll never forget because that was the longest drive that I have ever done. I was only a few yards to the pin. My brother even said that he never reached that place. It just felt really good to hit it that far. Though my finish was bad this was one of my highlights during that day.

Here at Hole number 6, we had to hit across the road again. I tried to do my tactic of what I did during the drive of the hole before. I tried to relax and clear my mind. When I hit the ball it was another solid shot but my ball hooked(went to the left). They were all shocked again. When we were looking for my ball. It landed near the green of hole number 1. When we got there there were people teeing off at hole number 1. It's a good thing that they were still teeing off, if not I would have hit them.

Hole number 7 is just a short hole but it had a pond. I already was a victim of this pond ever since I was playing. My cousins' and brothers' shots were great because they were near the green. When it was my turn to hit the ball it went to the right side and it rolled down. I was so happy that it didn't go to the pond. But when I hit my second shot it hit the branches of a tree and my ball went to the pond, so I had to drop another ball. Most of my finishes were really bad.

Hole number eight is the last time that we would hit across the road. My streak of hitting good drives were gone because I tried hitting twice but I lost one ball and the other didn't fly so I just dropped at the other side. We all did bad at this hole. This was the last par 4 of the front 9.

This was one of the holes where my grandpa was able to get a Hole in One. There's also a chance of hitting the Clubhouse if your ball would slice. When I hit the ball it went to the far left. I finished the last hole of the front nine with a double bogey. At the front nine, I scored 50 and my cousin and brother both got 45.

I'll be uploading the second part soon!

Thanks for reading and Stay safe always!
