Good Day Guys!

Let me share with you some benefits of owning a pet according to some of the articles that I've read. All the references will be posted below. According to them, when we own a pet. When we have a pet it helps us mentally by making us feel less lonely and it can even prevent depression because we already have a companion. Stress will always be part of our lives so if we have a pet to come home to it can help relieve it when we play pet and play with them. It's also nice to have a pet because they can improve your immune system, some studies have shown that babies who live with a dog experience fewer infections and are healthier. Having a pet can also make us sociable by making friends through your pets, the pet community is great, once you talk to other owners you'll find a certain bond wherein you can relate to being a pet owner and show how much you guys love your pets.

They will also make you smile because they're adorable and with some actions that they do. It also helps us physically by increasing our opportunities to exercise because we have to bring them outside and walk them. When we walk our pets it can help decrease our blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and triglyceride levels. Some studies also showed that the bond that we get from our pets can bring us happiness. Having a pet will also teach you how to be a responsible person because you have to take care of something already.

Those are some of the benefits that I read and can relate to when having pets. Before everything else Let me share with you our family pets. For those who are new to reading my posts. This is Pierre and Yoda. Pierre is the dog who's a mix of a chihuahua and mini pinscher and Yoda is the cat where my brother just adopted him from the outside. Pierre has been with us since January 2018 and Yoda has been with us since February 2020. They have grown big already since we got them. I didn't expect Yoda to reach adulthood in 1 Year. It's really fun having them especially when you watch them bond. We didn't expect them to be best friends because our previous dog hated cats so much and would even chase them. According to the person who gave Pierre to us, it was a cat who was taking care of him when he was a child so maybe that's why they are really close with each other.

I just love watching them, wherever Yoda goes to Pierre would follow. I really don't know why Pierre acts like this. I love watching when they are playing especially when they are both bolting around the house.

During the Sunday, I asked my mom if she could bring me to my patient's house and she said yes. Whenever she brings me there's always someone who's wagging his tail waiting for him to be called. He's always excited to ride the car. Once you call him to go outside he would bolt going out and then pee around first then go to the door of the car. If the car is opened he would jump right in. Pierre is usually the companion of my mom, he rode with us. I noticed that he loves looking outdoors. Whenever he sees a dog, he barks in excitement.

Last Saturday, we usually go to church and my sister brought Pierre with us. He was in a frog hoody that looked big for him. It's really nice to look at him so excited. When we attend he's well behaved, something that's unusual because he's on a different level inside our house. He would just sit at the pews or my sister would carry him.

These past few days he has been naught peeing around our house. But once you tell him about it, he would bow his head and look like he's sorry for it. To be honest, I really hate the smell of his pee because it's really different. So whenever he pees around the house, we know that it's his.

So here's Yoda and the mouse. One thing that I love about him is that he's potty trained. We just have a box with litter inside our bathroom and he would go there. I watched him one time and it's really amusing that they do their best covering their poop with the litter. Though I also hate the smell of his poop when he doesn't cover it enough. Thank God there's an exhaust fan in our bathroom.

II also love taking photos of Yoda compared to Pierre. For some reason whenever I take photos of Pierre he seems derpy at most of his photos. Unlike Yoda, he is more photogenic, and he has a lot of faces. The only problem that I have with Yoda is that he's really snobby. He would not go to you unless he needs something. He's actually smart because when he's hungry he would go to us and meow non stop and when we ask him "Are you hungry?" He would lead us in front of his bowl.

During that Sunday I was also able to feed some of the cats that live in our compound. That's actually the parents of Yoda. They also have names, the white cat with black spots is called Shaka and the other cat is Fracture. I just love Fracture because he's really kind when you call him, he would rub himself to you and when you sit near him he would hop into your lap.

When I was reading the benefits, I really think they really apply so What are you waiting for? I think it's time to get a pet if you're responsible enough.
