Good day, guys!
This is how I spent my day, I slept earlier than usual but for some reason, I'm slower at getting ready. It took me a long time before I left our house. While I was driving myself to work, I was thinking where would I park if I ran out of parking because it was running late. Thankfully, I was able to get a parking space inside the University. There were only a few slots left before they would completely close it.
While walking to the hospital, I was just looking at how beat up it was already. At least they are building an extension of the hospital, I hope that they will change the location of our department to make it more accessible.
Before treating our patients, I was just using my phone. And then we heard a familiar voice. It was one of the watchers of our patient. She told us that our patient couldn't be treated because he felt very tired. They tried removing his catheter but he ended up being bloated and he almost passed out. At least they didn't have to rush him in the ICU. The watcher also gave us their details for home service if ever he gets discharged. We were not rushing because we had 3 patients left. So we went up at around 9:20 am. We went to patient 1 but he was not inside his room, because he had to undergo a procedure. We then went to patient 2 but no one has cleaned him yet and he looked really sleepy. We went to patient 3 but our other colleagues were treating him. So we went down. That's the one that really sucks, getting delayed. We then went up at around 10 am we went back to patient 3 and made him short sit dangling in his bed. He said that he really missed sitting down. After we treated him we went to patient 1, he said that his condition feels a lot better after getting treated the day before and said that he was for discharge already. After that, we went to patient 3 but he still wasn't cleaned and was waiting for his watcher. We then went down to coordinate with the OPD when can we schedule the patient then went back up again.
After all the ups and downs, we disinfected and ate our lunch. We then waited till a little past 1 to go back to patient 2. Finally, we were able to treat him. He was able to perform some steps but his weak side has gout which produces pain that hinders our progress. One of his doctors came and was saying very good to him because he could move his arm and his leg. The only problem was is his foot drop.
We went back to our department, disinfected, and did our notes. I also helped our front desk for a while to encode some names. After that, I was able to rest till 5 because we didn't have any patients.
I then drove myself home, thankfully it wasn't that much traffic today. I was able to go home smoothly.
When I got home, I went to my grandma's garden trying to look for sayote. that was hanging but the ones that I saw were only on the floor and it was too high for me to get. I was supposed to get it for my Dubia Colony.
When I got to our house, I disinfected then I played with my saxophone. I noticed that there was a pungent smell nearby which was really familiar. It was our dogs' pee. He peed again in my room. After cleaning it up, I continued playing with my saxophone. I ate dinner after.
I went back inside my room and I was smelling something different again. I looked below the computer chair and found poop on it. I got angry at our dog verbally showing him not to do that again. He really looked guilty. I also put him in time out for 15 minutes in a room.
I thought there was nothing already until I used my bathroom. He also peed at my shower area. At least it was easier to clean. I really don't know why he has been peeing and pooping inside my room. Even though he is like that I don't have the heart to punish him by hurting him. That is one advantage of having a cat, they just don't pee or dump anywhere as long as you provide them a litter box. After all those incidents I was just using my computer the whole time with intermittent naps in between. I hope you guys had a wonderful day!
