Good day, guys!
There's nothing new with my sleeping patterns. For some reason, I sleep around 3-4 am in the morning. I actually overslept today so I rushed to get ready. I'm just glad that I didn't have to drive myself to work because my parents brought me to work. They brought me because they had to pick up something that they ordered.
While they were bringing me, I was trying to take photos. The clouds just looked so fluffy this morning.
When they brought me, my mom decided to bring Pierre with us. He always enjoys riding inside a car. I noticed whenever he sees a dog pass by he gets so excited and there were times when he would bark.
I finally got to my workplace, had to go through the triage, It's a lot easier now because we just have to scan a QR code. But the problem is that their connection is usually weak. We started treating our patients again around 9 am but as soon as we were going out, there was a phone call and unfortunately it was a new referral. Patient one was able to walk for 3 rounds without rest and even used a walker with wheels. We then proceeded to patients 2 and 3 but patient 2 was eating and patient 3 was sleeping. We left the room and saw the doctor who's in charge of the new referral, the doctor endorsed us the management. We then went to ask patient 4 if she wanted to be treated because she refused treatment yesterday. She said she wanted to, so we treated her, she said she felt better after the session. After that we treated the new referral, I just felt so bad for him because he was newly amputated. You can clearly see that he was depressed. After treatment we went back to patient 3 and treated him, he was able to stand for 6 minutes with 2 attempts. We went to patient 4 and he was really lethargic and very irritable when we were treating him. One problem that we encountered was that his oxygen levels would go to the range of 80s, so we always had to remind him to do deep breathing exercises. We went down, disinfected, wrote our notes, and updated our doctors.
We then ate lunch. We had a lot of rice since yesterday so one of my colleagues decided to make it egg fried rice but he made it after lunch. So the other ended up bringing it home. After lunch, we were lucky enough to receive any new referrals. I was just resting the whole time waiting for 4 pm. That is one thing that I love about Saturdays is that our duty is only from 8-4
As soon as we got out, it started raining. My mom and sister picked me up at the entrance. Pierre was with us again. Before going home we bought dinner.
We decided to go to New Lucban and try Abonabil Diner which serves chicken shawarma. When we got there they said that they ran out of stock in the chicken shawarma rice. So we decided to go somewhere else.
I remember when I started college, I used to eat at this eatery. This just brought me back so many memories. My meals would cost 35 PHP only or that's around 0.73 USD. You get served 2 Meat viands and a cup of rice. Food was so cheap back then
Going back to my day, there was another restaurant called Habibis Grill. We decided to get our food from there.
It was really empty when we went there. Before entering you have to fill up your personal information for contact tracing purposes. They also follow a no mask or no faceshield no entry policy. As you look closely at the floor, they are trying to control the flow of traffic with arrows but I really think space is needed there. If you are dining in, you cannot face each other with their sitting scheme. My sister was supposed to order straight from the restaurant until she saw that there was a discount from her application called food panda. So she decided to order it from the app to save some cash.
After getting our food. My mom wanted to buy bread. There's a bakery near us, wherein it's only a few kilometers near our house. So she got from there. And before going home, my sister passed by a Korean Grocery. She bought different kinds of bread because there was a discount. The discounts were huge, an example was when my sister got a piece of bread the normal price would be 95 Php and they sold it for around 35 Php. It was a great steal.
When I got home, I disinfected and played with my sax. In the middle of playing, I noticed that Pierre and Yoda were in just one corner of the couch.
I then ate dinner. This was the shawarma rice that I had for dinner
It was already cold, so I decided to heat the meat on the pan.
This is the finished product. I just love putting a lot of garlic sauce because of the flavor. I also added an egg on top of it. I really loved the flavor. It was really delicious. After that, my sister let us taste the bread from that Korean place. It was actually good, they didn't cheap out on the fillings.
After dinner, their position changed, I saw Pierre's pawn on Yoda's face.
Yoda really looked so fat already. After that I was just using my computer, watching anime and youtube. I was also able to speak to my girlfriend because it was her day off. While watching and writing there were times where I would intermittently sleep on the chair. At least I was finally able to finish this write up.
