Good day guys!
During my day off last January 6, 2021. I slept really late at around 3 am because I was browsing through the internet and playing some games on my cellphone. I woke up around 11 am. It really felt so good to sleep that long again after all the nights I've been sleeping late and working up early for work. When I woke up I decided to go outside and enjoy the view. Here's the pond of our grandma, most of the fishes there are gold fish and there are some hybrids of koi and gold fish.
I took a photo of this plant because it looked beautiful to look at especially those white leaves. I asked my mom and she also doesn't know the name of this plant.
I also continued using my computer, I really don't know what will happen with my life if I don't have one haha.
Inside my room, my brother keeps his tarantulas. Here's a photo of one of his tarantulas. The species of it is called Monocentropus balfouri. They can live in a communal setup wherein if you add more they won't kill each other. There are actually 2 inside his enclosure, but as soon as I was taking the photo the other one hid inside. The webbing just looks so amusing to look at.
These are my pet Ants. If you're wondering why I take care of them. I just got into the hobby and I always have fun observing them especially the times when I feed them.
My colony started with this ant queen. I caught it last May 2020. From this single queen, the population grew and if you look at the recent photo you could see all the eggs and larvae at the lair.
After looking at them, I ate my brunch and got ready to meet my girlfriend. My girlfriend went out to buy an aquarium for her niece. Before going to their place I spotted this Hibiscus( also known as Gumamela here in the Philippines)
It's their first time getting an aquarium so we started setting it up. We put the pebbles inside the aquarium first.
And then my girlfriend designed it, by putting the plant and the famous pineapple under the sea. We also setup the filter. We added distilled water and added conditioner before adding the fishes.
The fish that she got for her niece are different colors of Cichlids.
This was the end product. Her niece was really happy that she got pet fishes for Christmas. I just loved the smile on her face and to look at her just staring at the fishes.
I always have fun when hanging out with my girlfriend. It always makes me feel relaxed when I'm with her. We just usually binge watch TV shows or watch movies and eat dinner.
Before we ate dinner my girlfriend told me to release this bug. Here's the story of it. I found that bug at around the start of December. Her niece has been taking care of beetles that she found. I told her that she can give this to her because this bug which we call Baka Baka is kind wherein it wouldn't bite and it would just walk on you if ever you pick it up. Her niece actually took care of it. I was surprised that it lasted that long captivated. When my girlfriend gave her the fishes, they made a pact to release it. So this was the final moment before I released it to the wild again.
I came home to this fat fellow beside his bowl of food Yawning. I just find it funny that my phones camera was able to take this shot.
It was such a fun day full of rest. I couldn't wait for my next Off to relax again.
